lol no i don't want to be a 40 year old member, but i do want to make my time here fun, and it ruins my experience of NB, when the veterans are going around saying that the new NB sucks, and the old rocks, that most of us are noobs, and that they will leave soon.Just like old people die, seniors leave forums when they understand that "dude... I'm too old to stay in a Naruto forum". It's called life, and it will always happen, and there is nothing we can do about it. We can a) sit there and complain; b) make this place something we like 'cause in the end we'll be seniors too, and we'll leave the forum, and there will be other people complaining about it (if we're lucky).
That's how it works - people a born (people join forums) -> people live and learn (they spam, post, discuss something and etc.) -> and they die (they leave the forum because they see that it's not what they want or they just don't fit in). (<- I'm just comparing reality with virtual life btw.)
We can't stop.
And seriously... do you want like a 40-year-old member here (who is very "senior", and he/she knows many things, and talks to you like you are a child (which would be true btw))? Think about it.
I know I just changed my oppinion a little bit, but that's how I am. Sorry. :|
And sorry for the gramma/spelling mistakes. English is not my thing :|
Who says we can't use what the old NB had? Don't we learn from our parents? But yeah... some support from the seniors would be nice :|lol no i don't want to be a 40 year old member, but i do want to make my time here fun, and it ruins my experience of NB, when the veterans are going around saying that the new NB sucks, and the old rocks, that most of us are noobs, and that they will leave soon.
Deidara you are right, but remember, this site has been here for quite some time, and that means that almost every idea is taken, there's a marshmallow CE, there's cobber, gold, and it's becoming very hard to get your CJ's aproved, simply because evrything has been tried before.
Have you ever submitted a custom, because many of them gets the,Who says we can't use what the old NB had? Don't we learn from our parents? But yeah... some support from the seniors would be nice :|
BTW, thanks Yoshiro ^.^
Exactly.hey hey,
I remember the old days. especially when Pervy Sage wasnt all crazy.
and now, all the old members are leaving and guess who is keeping NB alive. its the "noobs" and a few old members.
now, we need to be nice to each other even if we are a "noob" or we have been here for like 2 years.
I can't submit customs yet :| I need more posts, and I'm not a huge spammer.Have you ever submitted a custom, because many of them gets the,
"Similar technique exists" tag.
But if we could, it would be awesome.
Some does...I can't submit customs yet :| I need more posts, and I'm not a huge spammer.
Maybe something could be done about the custom using... And if I remember clearly, when seniors leave NB they leave their customs to their friends that they choose, don't they? :|
Maybe, who knows.Some does...
Hasashi did, but he'll come back![]()
I guess not...Maybe, who knows.
People don't come back when they grow up. :|
a) I agree about the names (but not all noobs are like that. My name is without a number, right? :| )I just thought that I would drop it here:
One thing I hate about noobs is their names like blahblah(repeat the last letter)-a lot of numbers- and another one their gramma mistakes (much harder to fix)
Agreed, but like you said, the name changing is coming soon.I just thought that I would drop it here:

Akiza you are simply the best, if only we could get the RP a little more story like, you know i mean, people have some cool bio's, with some incredible backgrounds, and if we in some way could do a little more dialogue RPG, i would be happy.Yet another controversial topic that happens not only on this forum, but on most likely other forums as well. I've been here for a lil over two years, and I'm sure as heck ain't leaving anytime soon. I've been around plenty of forums, here and there, once or twice, and I've come down to this conclusion:
No matter where you go, no matter where you think you can go to hide, there will always be noobs. Even in real life there are noobs, you just don't realize it.
Unfortunately though, it is true when you say that most of the new people here aren't really that great with the English language, or grammar in general. But thank goodness for the few I've seen who actually show some promise here on NB or I would have been gone way back when. Also, with me being a sensei and all, I get to train the new generation on how to properly RP to the best of my ability, and even though some of them don't really show skill, I do see that some can actually understand what I'm trying to teach them. I try my best to deal with the new people as they come, but yes, some of them do get on my last nerve. But I don't let them get to me so much as it would drive me to complete madness.
If there's one thing that I can say about NB is that no matter how many people leave, NB will survive. A major example of this would be the RA coup that happened about eh, in the middle of last year. Then there's the longtime rival of NB, NS/AD, and even with these rivals and plenty of other forums out there, we remain. We shall not die easily. Just saying.
That was then, now it's now, couldn't we make it fun to be on NB today...Good old days...
It was fun back then.
:worshippy: Thank you oh great Akiza-sensei for you awesome words. :worshippy:Yet another controversial topic that happens not only on this forum, but on most likely other forums as well. I really hope he's right, 99,99% chance he is:worshippy: Thank you oh great Akiza-sensei for you awesome words. :worshippy:
Rag told me something yesterday that stayed on my mind: NB is like a darkhole. Doesnt matter how you try to run from it, it will pull you back. xd
