Wow, that's actually better than I thought.

Although they do so well in group stages, their bane seems to be after the group stages idk if that's them choking or what sadly they struggle after the group stages many events. Even with the Magic Prime Hazard days, would be nice to see them finally get to finals this WC will have to see I guess.

Exactly. The first ruled out goal wasn't really a foul. I think the defender tried to be a bit dramatic with his fall, because ain't no way Ronaldo could bully him when you consider the defender was bigger. Someone said, if it was the other way round, the referee wouldn't have called a foul.

Anyway, that didn't matter at end. Glad Portugal won.

Felt like England respected the US too much, and let them play. I'd have love a scenario where they actually press them further up the pitch (force them to make mistakes), and move the ball quicker during transition. It's like they don't realize they are objectively better with the caliber of players they have in their shed.

Didn't see the rest of the games, but I'd say the Iran-Wales results surprised me a bit. Though the red card on Wales probably made it easy for the Iranians.
