Then again during the Nation's League they played back to back against France and Italy and they put them bouth through hell. The only reason they lost twice, was because God apparently spoke a roman language those days.

The entire route the final has already been decided a long time ago. They kind of need it for logistical reasons, though they off course don't know which teams would eventually end up in which group.

Yeah they've been missing the fire they had in WC 2018 and maybe even Euro 2016 (not so sure about WC 2014, too far back for me to recall). I especially remember a lot of people praising their talents back then but I suppose a lot of them aren't in their primes anymore (Hazard *cough*). But who knows, maybe they finally succeed now that the pressure of expectation is a bit off them

I see... Strange way to do it but okay I guess. Guess that means we could potentially have 4 group stage rematches in the quarter finals or rather 2 in the semi I suppose which is a bit weird imo unless my math is completely off
