infinite strongman seems like a broken role regardless, but if you wanna keep it in play for whatever reason, then I guess for this specific setup make it so that the cop isn't a parity cop and just make it normal?

imagine if i got roleblocked as well by the jailkeeper. i basically get one check at most by F5 or at BEST two of them. but the second scenario should happen rarely.

but i honestly don't even see the point of me having a vest, there being a bodyguard and a jailkeeper if mafia can just blast through all of them and basically ignore all town actions?

jailkeepers operate from the assumption that they can guard their targets most of the time, but if you have in mind the fact that strongman can just shoot through all of them, not only are town negating their fellow town's actions by roleblocking them, they are actually...virtually useless? like, a jailkeeper could've maybe wanted to protect me. if i get targeted then i die anyway, and if i am not the strongman target, then i am roleblocked and there's no risk exchange at all. jailkeeper in this setup just really seems like it doesn't do anything but mess with town's actions more than mafias.

not only is the jailkeeper not doing anything, it's actually a false-positive for trackers if they get checked and are also liable to blocking town's actions.

like all of these roles don't really synergize with each other at all if the mafia can just ignore all of it.

seems like the design was revolved around the idea of "what if strongman dies early though?" and trying to compensate for that, i guess?

sorry, didn't mean for it to come off as bashing or whatever. i appreciate you hosting the game, i was just looking for your reasons for going with that role (judging on my last line of the post) and explaining why i thought it wasn't a good pick for balancing issues.

if you weren't being sarcastic / retaliating, then i believe there are plenty of open setups on the MS wiki, some of them are kinda cool

Why is Osie voted for MVP? His push on me legit killed town. :vex:
He did some nice effort tho.
A lot of voting post mafia games are usually for friends, returning favors etc.
My read of Ossie was that they caught Guillo and then let them go but since that was more than most townies managed to do a swing and a miss looks better than not swinging at all. 🤷

I favor Denmon because he pushed scum, but also because he had good fortune to die before mislynching anyone lol

I wasn't sarcastic, i am serious, mechanics are never my forte.
An original setup made for us is better imo :)

guillotina’s role apparently has infinite strongmans as well as roleblocks AND a 1-shot dayvigi (and no worries, i’ve already complained about it so we’re covered on that front lol)

i was kind of curious though how nobody thought about elmage being alice’s jailkeep action. (he wasn’t - but being right for the wrong reasons is still a thing) and thus he’d be a villager. She basically claimed to him instead of thinking he’s scum so she must’ve thought about some night actions going on.
Hmm! Strongman is not supposed to break through JK. Jk prevents not blocks so Strongman should have failed and make me inherit a bigger mess tbh.

Also, if I hadn't been killed last night, I was hardclaiming straight into morning. So screw you Guillo lol

I have seen the mods at MU take offsite anti game actions into account for assigning punishments there. Could always go to them should an MU Player do something blatantly bad here

Strongman as ability is processed before bodyguard, so Luke would survive and you would die.
Infinite strongman was a mistake in the setup and modified the balance in mafia favour, but town had masons (Denmon and Nika) and few abilities that could be useful. Also town/mafia ratio was 8/2, and that was town sided.
Maybe/for sure with just one strongman would be better.
Oh crap, there were Masons too? Lol

I dont think having unlimited strongman was scumsided, specially with the existence of a parity cop, a jailkeeper, a bodyguard and masons. Michelle’s two mistakes was the JK process and putting me through hell making me wait 54 hours to win lol

But to imply it was scum sided when it was just two of us against 8 of you with that kind of power alone? Come on now. If you would have inherited the game state i did, you wouldnt be thinking so.

MU banned me for a year for making fun of an Anime avatar. Dunno why anyone e should extend sympathy to someone who acts to ruin a game.

That said I think Luk was joking. Mainly because his last day he hinted he'd protect Niki, which one can accept as a plea for scum to kill him.
