MPM is extremely strong considering its accessibility and flexibility. I'm too attached to Sound, but combining MPM with another HA/KG is the way to go for newer members imo. +20 boost to all your fields? Death subversion? Elementally neutral chakra field that's been unexplored? Most of its weaknesses can also be negated through Yang/Med
AGREED. Why I'm starting the Yang grind lool. I was going to do Sound + SM and once I read up on MPM it was wraps I had to choose it.

I think that either SHB/EIG or the Health system needs a bit of a rework or look at. Again this comes back to things not making sense or having too higher cost for what it is.

As an example, A jounin that uses SHB, to reach the final breath will take 140 damage. This would put them over 80% for the damage effects. This means:
Arms
- minus 15 damage to arm absed tai, any arm action deals 10 damage to user
Legs
- any movement with legs at all causes 10 damage to user, cannot use any quick flicker evasion/movements.
Torso
-Any molding chakra in torso (including tai) deals 20 damage to user.

So I mean you cant even really use 7th breath without killing yourself.

EIG to get up to 7th Gate deals 125 damage to the user (8th gate kill yourself ofc). EIG has the advantage ofc that you can open the gates directly without actually going through 1-5, where as SHB, you HAVE to take it one breath at a time
Well I can't speak for 7HB but the Eighth Gate is literally supposed to kill you, even in terms of the show.

I understand that, and its fair, but for SHB, we saw it one from a guy that was sick like Itachi plot. But SHB kills you without actually using its final step, where EIG at least lets you use it for 2 turns.

As a mod, you are a cut above the rest. Even if you don't see it yourself, you are a top RPear. To be a mod you need to understand the RP better than most and you need to have some field which you have dominion over that others dont. Its not just being a volunteer. Modship isn't about power. It should have never been. Its about contribute. This RPG is and forever will be under construction. So mods don't simply moderate the RPG; they build it. Because of that they need to be a cut above the rest. How would you manage to build a syustem you wouldn't fully master yourself? Its not about power but it is about knowledge. And you do have more than most or otherwise you wouldn't be able to do your job.
I don't agree with the stuff about mods being a cut above or top tier, mainly because I've always seen it as volunteer work. That's not a bad thing either, a volunteer should be respected for the time and effort they put in, but I don't see much difference in skill level with mod vs sensei or even mod vs regular member. Everyone has a skill set, I just volunteered mine to do what I could at the time.

Lets say I volunteer to developing a game at, lets say, Bungie. I can volunteer all I want and be full of the best intentions but if I don't know a thing about the game they are making or coding or anything of the sorts, I won't be able to contribute.

Moderators of the RP are, by default, people with full dominion of the RP, dedication, free time and also with some area, whithin the RP, where they stand out from the crowd. Doesn't mean they are the best fighters, best RPears or best CJ makers. Doesn't mean they are the strongest around. But if they aren't good and above the majority, they can't guide the RP.

A pack of wolves can't be lead by a cub. Its lead by the most capable amongst the pack.

Modesty is one thing Howard, but never let it obscure your own view of your self worth nor the value of your own contribution and skill set. You've always been good in the RP. You've always stood out. And you were always smart and dedicated. And you always understood the RP better than most. That means you are amongst the top rpears by default. As in, perhaps top 5%.

At least, thats my take on it.

My take is more akin to "Anyone can volunteer at a soup kitchen." It just takes time, effort and understanding to do the job well. I don't see it as modesty because a lot of people could do the work maybe even better than I.

[BOLD] That's what I thought at first when I joined.

[RED] I'm sure everybody here just want to have fun. But it's normal for us to view experience and skill as a requirement to qualify for high positions like Sensei/Mod.

Medical Fuuinjutsu doesn't exist anymore. Anything that notes "Requires Medical Fuuinjutsu" just translates to "You need Fuuinjutsu and Medical Ninjutsu" to use. Advanced Fuuinjutsu is needed to make S/F Ranked Fuuinjutsu, as well as Body Seals.
