The Naruto series is like an old rock band in which all the original cast retired and were replaced with new members. I think that the creators are trying to show his privileged yet eventful childhood before we get into the darkness. Its important to create that contrast.

Lets hope so and that the execution is properly done. I actually don't believe SP and the new authors have what it takes to make this series something else but if they do, i will be the first creating a thread and admit that the series is on the right path, which it isn't now.

I think they're actually going the right path, the main arc is just starting so I believe it's too early to judge.


That's like expecting Akatsuki arc in the first 53 chapters.
