Boruto anime, a case of artificial darkness.

Difference:

dbgt ended on 1998? something like that and after 19 years it's back with dbs.

there will be more hype surrounding it for the long awaited return

dbs is ahead of the manga as opposed to boruto. being ahead of the manga makes it the source material the MAIN PLOT CANON

Boruto franchise has only 12 chapters of main plot material.

difference is DBS is stright forward with 100% main plot covering while boruto is extremely slow with only 12 chapters in the manga and zero episodes in the anime.

See the difference????

Blah blah blah

It's not my opinion that the world being peaceful justifies some of the things you said. It's a fact.

Each one finds the excuses that better serves their beliefs. This is exactly what you are doing, therefore, from me, you won't get anything in this thread apart from respect for your opinion but pay attention, peace is not justification for the anime being shallow in terms of meaning and the characters feel like they are fillerish in almost everything they do and their appearances, being it Naruto, Sarada, Mitsuki, Shikadai or the Ramen guy. Even Boruto, the main character feels bland most of the times.

Peace is the excuse for lack of action and nowhere in my original post lack of action was mentioned. So, Glad of war, who is having prejudice towards who right now? ;) I know you don't like me, don't hide behind that mask.

I hope you read my post again and understand that there is no prejudice in my review but in fact pitty for everything feeling void of any purpose, at least in my opinion. Fights don't actually mean the anime will improve, neither its content but if you are satisfied with the way the sequel is being dealt with, ok, it is fine by me.

Super has used blood, In both Anime and Manga.

Show me where.

Also, your response won't matter. It won't exceed the number of times Boruto series has shown actual blood.

It's also NOT going erode the fact, Jiren V Goku, claimed by DB fanboys to shit on anything on Boruto, had zero blood scene, which is ironic if we consider OP said Boruto is a shallow series.

Since when does blood make a series dark? Nothing in either of the 2 will ever come close to anything made for a slightly older audience(Tokyo ghoul, berserk). Also, regardless of where boruto goes from here in the future, as of what we’ve seen now op has a point. For example, the mist arc, literally pointless considering any and all actions in that arc have literally 0 effect or consequence on what’s going on now. The manga even made it seem like nothing of importance happened when they went(seeing as how if the events that transpired in the anime happened in the manga, I highly doubt boruto would be so damn happy go lucky about it)

Sure bouto has used blood more often, That doesn't prove or mean anything though.

Also Zero blood in the goku vs jiren?

Also since when does the lack of blood alone mean shallowness?

Are ppl really trying to say that Boruto is deeper than super because it has blood? That is what I'd call shallow.

Yes, Boruto might be entertaining, one can actually waste around 25 minutes of his life without feeling much guilt about watching it but it is far from what Naruto gave us and we are already on episode #48..

that damage control

Excuses comes from one's attempt at cherry-picking. Usually, they would seem biased, or desperate-looking. I didn't have to cherry-pick because the series had already highlighted the reason why Boruto is what it is.

Peaceful in this case, is actually the most substantiable reason as to why the series is shallow. While in other stories peaceful times may lead to the visitation on uncover areas, Boruto's case is actually the opposite. This is because Naruto's motives was built on the consequences of conflict, and confrontation. Boruto series has yet to get a conflict, though imminent, leaving the series somewhat disconnected from the elements that made Naruto good.

Peaceful can also result to the lack of motivation, or centralise plot.

"I know you don't like me, don't hide behind that mask."

Really? Appeal to motive?

"I hope you read my post again and understand that there is no prejudice in my review"

Considering your post had a lot of inflated point(s), I don't see why my perspective would change If I read it again.

Nah fam. That anime shit is not canon, Its close to what the real storyline will be but anything Toriyama himself draws overrides that.
That's the only problem I had with your post lol
