She was testing the flash bang grenade, but Boruto wasn't trying to drop kicked by Sarada in CQC. Sarada wasn't overwhelmed either she was holding back so she can get info out of them or else she would have just crushed their bones with her CES.

them parrying wrist to wrist can't harm either the two since CES comes from the feet and the hands

Boruto had a pretty good run for a few chapters. I can't hate, at least Ikemoto/Ukyo don't hold their female characters back like Kishimoto. Can you imagine if Sakura had bested Naruto/Sasuke, even if she used a flash bomb? Fan's would be irate.

It was a good spar. Honestly I'm not speaking from any source or from experience, but these things just seem a bit inconsistent anyway. Next Arc watch Boruto will somehow do something that will cause everyone to say > Sarada, and then the next arc Sarada will do something that'll cause > Boruto.

Same shit repeated back and forth. At least the author is offering some leeway. No more excuses about the MC only getting screen time/spotlight when they have been doing some pretty neat stuff in both Anime/Manga.

Although I'm really looking forward to that Ao fight. Hopefully we get some Zabuza/Haku type shit, or Orochimaru vibes. Ao's robot look is menacing on standby.

Hiashi, Hanabi, Hinata and even Naruto weren't even questioning Boruto ever having a dojutsu, they just said he wouldn't have it since he is too lazy to do the necessary training.

Boruto confirms he's serious in the first scan and most importantly the last image where he's annoyed he lost off and calls himself getting solo'd a cheap shot. Somebody who's holding back because he's "testing" something doesn't complain about it. Oh and the part where's he's even more excited that he says now we got you while trying to fi is Sarada off.

I know some fans are in denial but mangafacts are facts.

Boruto was serious he confirms it in the firat scan stay mad he even tried the speed blitz, frontal assault got dealt with then complained because he lost. And blamed it on the ninja tool calling it a cheap shot. The point is somebody who's testing a tool doesn't complain. Perhaps comprehension lesson are in order.

I agree and i think it's good writing for the bold. yes boruto would be superior eventually but the difference in combat shouldn't be too drastic among all 3 members even at this early stage. I think many people (at least me) are hoping sarada at least puts some work in and isn't just background fodder to the guys as team 7 was. So yeah let's see how it pans out

Sarada actually being adapt is a positive for me... and Boruto and his current CQC is exactly of what I have been saying and is basically now a wakeup call for those (ahem Indra) that think Boruto can't neglect his Hyuga training.


Yes even Sasuke with his kenjutsu uses his fists and kicks when fighting and also in every one of his fights against a tough opponent he gets disarmed.


Hanabi literally said he can come back at any time, dude also has a Gentle Fist Master as his Mom but alas Boruto opted for his own made up kid moves like Boruto stream, which is fine but neglecting the majority of his genes is just lol worthy.


Boruto is as much Hyuga as Sarada is Uchiha but not only does he neglect it, sadly his dojutsu is on vacation, deciding to be dormant.

I want him to be destroyed in this arc with that chakra saber so he knows he can't just ignore his short comings by opting/ escape goating to something else.
