Why Boruto chose to be a Kenjutsu adept

Sasuke's sharingan gave him an advantage in taijutsu over Naruto in Part 1 and early Part 2 but beating Naruto wasn't Sasuke's goal but Itachi who soloed his ass. All that training Sasuke did was to beat Itachi and no one can deny that.

Anyway wasn't talking about Naruto and Sasuke there. But Boruto and Sarada

natural lighting user alway love something sharp . kakashi used sword , his dad used it , sasuke , killerbee , butan and her father , Ameyuri Ringo , entire cloud shinobi village ....many more can't remember . not mention about katana and ninjatō were symbol of japanese culture , in asian culture sword = king of all weapon . weapon of valiant . in real life ninja used sword too and train with it not less than samurai . because not every mission they did was completely undetected

in case of boruto . his taijutsu was not even close to good as metal lee , his shadow clone was litmited in 4 clones
make him trouble in many fight before ( anime series , chunin exam ,and ofcouse again sarada) come to kenjutsu = pretty good choice . why not ? back in naruto many people question why naruto don't use weapons too . now they can feel happy .

btw boruto understand without massive shadow clone like his father , without super OP KKG like sarada and other people . then OP weapon help alot .
