Going by his logic if 10 people say earth is flat and 1 says its round the earth automatically becomes flat
Right. 123filler's logic is abysmal though.

He uses YouTube comments, and facebook crap as points. :lol

We might as well be confirming whose stronger between Naruto and Sasuke on Yahoo answers at this point.

Why do people care about the Boruto Anime being canon though? I don't remember people caring about the Naruto anime being canon lol.

I would understand if there wasn't a Boruto Manga leading.

I think its only 123fire. The most persistent one. Your only opposition

Nope. They release novel time lines for the readers to know where exactly it would take place in the story, they did the same for the Hiden novels. The Hiden novels have their own time lines within the Naruto verse as well.

However the official NARUTO time line was released shortly after the Boruto Movie. And the hiden novels weren't associated with it.

I personally don't read nor has anyone translated the Novels, so I don't know what content is in it exactly. I've heard that it's just the Anime episodes is script form.

U
Um, no. Kishimoto based on your logic didn't even explicitly say Boruto Anime. He just said Boruto.

Now leaving that dumb point. Kishimoto wants to make the Anime better than the Naruto Anime. There's already a Manga where the adaption came from. I'm not sure why your reaching this hard tho

But why would they care? Specifically, why would they care to make note of the time-line these novels falls into? According to you, it's non-canon. Like, am not going to bother fitting non-canon stories into mine if they are essentially not part of it. Also if fitting in non-canon stories to a time-line that denotes the series canonicity is expedient, why aren't the non-canon movies added to Naruto time-line?

It's not a dumb point . It only seem dumb to you because your argument is bad. Bad argument cannot, in any where affiliate with another in such way the results will be complementary.

Moving forward, Kishimoto, in the same link I added concerning the staff of the Boruto anime made know his reference point is the anime. Everything in that link hinted that fact.

Exactly. Where in the history of Shonens the Anime was actually considered above the Manga? Unless this was going the pokémon route, which it isn't.

For Novel readers? I mean if they are making Novels then there's a fan base for it. Regardless I'm not going over canon with time lines. When they published an official time line, that's that.

For Boruto's continuation, we haven't had an official time line since the Movie. But I'm assuming one will be on the day if they decide to make a Movie of sorts.

I didn't say anything nonfactual. I don't care about bad or good arguments at this point. It's fact v. opinion

Kishimoto ironically is not even listed in the staff production. Anyway you didn't even know what Ukyo's role was in the Anime until I informed you, and you still don't know what Ukyo does.

Granted that he hasn't explained, which is the point I'm making. Your assuming things without official statements, going by offhand knowledge w/o any confirmation.

I mean no offense though.

Anime actually develop many characters, develop father & son relation.
Show Naruto in a better light, someone who highly care for his family.
More world building,etc.

I know your thread was misinformed when you listed Ukyo Kodachi as the supervisor, no offense. He's not the main supervisor, he's listed as the story supevisor.

Not even Kishimoto is listed in the staff credits tho

Anyway it's not canon. Kishimoto has come out to say which arcs are canon or legitimate, and which are not.

plz indra can u summarize me what teh thread says..

DBSuper is a special case though. It's like one out of hundreds.

Boruto isn't a special case. It's just an adaption of the Manga.

That's how it was advertised.

Yeah at least it there so Very Highnata is 'partially' right with his point.:lol

But I've said it before compares to Naruto Boruto series is a loose case.

I agree. Confirmations for Canon in regards to Anime has to come out of the authors mouth.

The fact that Kishimoto has to officially came out and say the Academy ARc was approved by him means that the whole thing isn't canon. It's supposed to be an adaption of the Manga.

There's going to be rare 'canon' arcs, most filler episodes. Then they will start adapting Manga stuff. Wash, rinse, repeat.

When the Boruto Anime starts surpassing the Manga in content, then I'm sure Kishimoto will have to say something then.

For now though the Anime is biding its time creating Academy fillers.

What Ansatsuken said.

DBSuper anime is different from the Manga, both lead to discrepancies. It is not the case with Boruto, so far we had fillers, the Manga leads and the anime is going to catch up with the manga in the next episode.

Note:

I am actually eager to see how they will logically fit Boruto dojutsu in the Manga.

Naruto time-line denotes the chronological route of the story. If three of the Boruto Novels is part of it, it simply means they are part of the development phrases, and the story itself.

What do you mean by official time-line? There are now official, and non-official time-lines? This is a new one.

Moreover, what you makes you think the link leading to scan I reference is not an official time-line? You seem to be adhering to the translation by OG as if it's law, so why don't you give her that very scan to affirm if it's official or not?

"Anyway you didn't even know what Ukyo's role was in the Anime until I informed you, and you still don't know what Ukyo does."

I knew he was the supervisor. You stated he is the story supervisor. I don't see any major difference between supervisor and story supervisor.

In respect to your last statement, everything I have stated and will state were/will be extracted from official sources. The claim Ukyō Kodachi is the Boruto anime supervisor was taken from the link I posted. The other which claimed Kishimoto had business meetings with Yamashita was from an interview translated by OG.

Becuase the Original Writer ---> Ukyō Kodachi said so.

He supervises the Manga. This is about the anime. :)

Who said he was? Original Writer ---> Ukyō Kodachi

Well...

He supervises the anime. So far the anime hasn't exactly followed the original content, so a few episodes are considered filler. If the Manga flashbacks with what the anime has shown, all good. Canon it is.

That didn't work for the Hiden Novels.

Yes. There was a Novel time line released, and an Official time line released. One was called Official in the translation. Though why you aren't reading this is beyond me. I posted a link to it already, a few posts back.

Moreover, what you makes you think the link leading to scan I reference is not an official time-line? You seem to be adhering to the translation by OG as if it's law, so why don't you not give her that very scan to affirm if it's official or not?
OrganicDinosaur is a head translator for the Naruto series, and she continues to do so. If the translation stated that was the official time line, it was. Unless you can understand Japanese and prove her wrong, however.

I knew he was the supervisor. You stated he is the story supervisor. I don't see any major difference between supervisor and story supervisor.
Supervisor of the Anime is different than the supervisor of the story. Especially when he doesn't write the episodes.

I know what you posted but it doesn't account to the facts. Kishimoto never stated that the Anime was canon, rather that he would work on it. However, Kishimoto said the same thing for the Manga, but he came out on interview to state it was canon.

The Anime itself, he has only stated the Academy Arc was approved by him. You trying to nitpick at translations and phrases to make the Boruto Anime appear canon, when that's not how it was presented. Makes you sly in my eyes.

When the ANIME was called to be an adaption of the Manga, which is leading the 'Canon'. You gotta stop.

ANN said:
Kodachi and Ikemoto launched the Boruto manga in Weekly Shonen Jump on May 9, based on and as a sequel to Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto manga.

The Boruto Manga is the official sequel of the Naruto series. The Boruto anime is the official adaption of the sequel.

That's the fact.
