Them not understanding the terms doesn't mean the concept itself doesn't exist in Japan. :lol All this means is that they don't call it "canon" or "filler". The Last was advertised as Chapter 699.5 in Japan, meaning they wanted to let people know it was part of the main story, i.e. canon, meaning the concept does obviously exist in Japan.

It was for the western world to understand because some of them are aware of the term "cannon' that the western world uses.. It's not or wasn't meant for the Nihon people bro..
They're not secluded to where they don't know terms that other countries use..

Go talk to some real Nihon people who watch/read the show like you then come back an explain what they said.. Not your explaination of what it is..

It is easier to see things like this. Essentially because this discussion is based on what? 23 episodes of Boruto, while some of them didn't even followed what is in the manga.

I do understand that they needed to give time for Ikemoto to adapt, at least this is my view on things but all of this Filler/canon in terms of Boruto happens because of other members and other threads that bring prejudice to the distinction.

Yeah, but considering the kind of forum we're on the issue needs to be clarified. Either the anime is completely filler or some parts of it are filler. As of now we've yet to see any real connection between the Manga and Anime's stories.

Huh? That makes no sense. If they are advertising they'll advertise for the people in Japan mostly as that is where the movie was premiering. What reason have you given for anyone to believe otherwise? Talking to a few of your friends in Japan doesn't disprove the fact that in Japan as a whole the concept of canon and filler exists. Them respecting the content doesn't change the fact that one is apart of the main story and one isn't. Certain people not complaining about it doesn't make it not true. It just means that they don't care if it's filler. Doesn't change the fact that it is and that the concept exists.
