Oh my, a non Slytherin member that I have to train. Seems the Dark Lord didn't have time for this person. Either way, this training will be done, be it by force or through the Cruciatus Curse. Not everyone was willing, especially those Gryffindor bastards. No, they had pride, they thought they still stood a chance of ridding the Dark Lord from the halls of Hogwarts. However, they stood no chance whatsoever. House Slytherin was dominant and the motto of the school could be seen everywhere, "For Voldemort and Valor". With a casual smirk, I walk forth and bring my wand with me.

"So, you have come to learn Mahou, have you? What do you even know about it? Are you one of those know it all people, who simply don't have an affinity for using Mahou, or you just suck in general?"

I asked, my body now facing the student before me.

Yamraiha waited patiently for her teacher with her outfit completely on fleek. Her witch hat was slightly covering her piercing light brown eyes and couldn't feel anything else but pure excitement. She had no idea who was about to teach her Mahou but she sure would have liked her house master teach her... or at least someone from Ravenclaw. She took a deep breath and felt an ominous presence coming closer and closer. "Oh my..." Despite her age, she had gone through quite allot and all the experience she went through made her a more serious and stronger person for her age, it was strange, but talking to her would make you feel as if you were talking to an adult. Yamraiha stared with a emotionless expression to her elder as she spoke "I heard of you, you must be..." before she could even finish her sentence, the man interuppted her.

"Know it all? Sir, you will surely be amazed. I didn't catch your name." She bowed down towards her elder because Yamraiha might be a savage, but she respects her elders a great deal. "Sir, I am young now, and you are older. Once I grow up to be an amazing witch, you, will bow down to me equally..." She couldn't help but giggle as she made herself ready to explain to her elder what mahou was.

"Ahem, so, Mahou is the thing that makes us able to release certain stuff from our wands with a mere whip or saying. The wands we currently hold are originally from the juubi tree, if I'm correct? Obviously the wand chooses it's wielder since it comes with it's own kind of personality. Each wand is somehow connected to the users speciality or as said before, personality. As you may know, I am a big water fanatic so this very wand I'm holding is specialized in said element, but something is missing... and I would've hoped for you to clearify that for me."

Yamraiha took her wand out and looked at it with pride.

"So let's get to the things we can do, with these wands. We have transfiguration, dark arts, defence against the dark arts and charms. I have done allot of research and the dark arts are my favorite. Why? Maybe because of the blood bath I went through at an young age or simply because of the these little voices in my head telling me to k... hehe." She giggled yet again, and her eyes turned bright blue. It was as if her alter ego was having the upper hand of her.

"Avada ked..."

She said the following with looking at her wand. A tear fell down her cheek as she shifted her eyes back to her elder. "That was the spell my father ended my mother with. Brings chills down your spine, doesn't it?"

 

[Detective L]

Oh my, she was an emo. I lifted my arms as she said those words, knowing fully well that she couldn't do it at all. It was one my favorite spells, and I had used it to kill so many Muggles. Nonetheless, she was feisty as well, as expected. She had respect though.

"My, my. Calm down there. You mentioned many things, the wands and their unique composition, but you still didn't give me an answer on what Mahou is. I'll explain it, since you'll just be waiting our time, kid."

I stated, as I removed my own wand from my pouch.

"Alright, now the wand acts as a conduit for Mahou. What is Mahou, an advanced form of Ninjutsu that we Kisei utilize in order to do various things like you mentioned, the Dark Arts, Transfiguration, etc. We'll cover all those individually though, so you need not worry about them now. Nonetheless, Mahou is done through sheer will and chakra, and is utilized through the wand with what we call spells, or incantations. Words that are stated and gestures. Fairly simple. Now, what is your Wand's core?"

I asked, as I waited.

Yamraiha couldn't help but giggle. She liked her teacher and could see the darkness in his eyes... "Would love to hear your stories... kuku" she muttered whilst eagerly listening to what her teacher had to say. Yamraiha sure wasn't the type to give someone credits that easily though. As her teacher asked her what the core of her wand was, she flawlessly stroke through her hair as she made an hairflip. "Oh well, duh, of course I knew that?! Anyway, it's yew with unicorn tailhair"

 

[Detective L]

"Well, that'd have to be another time, though I am interested in the wand you chose. That core and type of Wood, hm, Water and Dark Arts? Impressive choices, really. Now, you have two choices."

I state, as utilize my wand to conjure up two scrolls which hang before the girl, the names of fields burst out in a blue flame before it.

"Transfiguration or Charms? Choose one, and we will begin there. Dark Arts is for the uh, more advanced groups. I'll evaluate your Mahou usage to see if you're eligible. Especially since you're not even Slytherin."

One could hear the distaste for other houses in my tone. I didn't like other Houses except Slytherin to specialize in the Dark Arts. They simply didn't have the affinity for it. However, perhaps she did.

It was a hard decision since she wanted to learn both but she didn't want to be seen as power hungry so she took a deep breath whilst taking out her wand, swinging almost as if she was giving a performance. "Charms..." she sang while her smile slowly turned into a rather devious laugh. "Yes, yes. Let's go with charms..."

 

[Detective L]

The Transfiguration option disappeared as she stated Charms. A good choice, and perhaps an easier one too. I couldn't gauge her strength in Mahou just yet, but this would be a good way to measure it. Nonetheless, I simply pointed towards her with my wand.

"So, Charms. An interesting field, and a versatile one too. What do you know of the field, exactly? Try and go a bit deeper."

Yamraiha was listening eagerly to what her teacher had to say and responded to his question. She coughed a little and prepared herself for telling her teacher what she knew. "I've read somewhere that charms alter an object's properties. Charms can basically change a certain object or summon them for example. They can also help you with basic stuff like opening a locked door, or forcing birds to attack a certain person if charmed, so, bewitched. And other than that... nope. That's all I know thus far. Am I missing something?!"

 

[Detective L]

"Not much."

I state, as I swing my own wand around.

"Charms are pretty cool. They change properties of things, alters them, unlike Transfiguration, where it can be completely changed to be something else. Now Charms start off basic, and we will start with the first Charm. Have you heard of the Levitation Charm?"

I ask, as I conjure before me an old book with a description of the Charm. Through manipulation, the words come alive as they spring from their pages and dangle themselves above the young girl.

Levitation Charm: - Defensive
The Levitation Charm ( Wingardium Leviosa ) allows the user to target an object and lift it using mahou and chakra to do so. This allows even First years to lift items heavier then they normally would be able to. This allows the user to levitate and lift items in front of him should the need arise, proving him with either cover or a way to defend. Despite its strengths, however, the Levitation Charm has one notable flaw: it does not work on human beings. This can target items up to mid range away. It can't destroy or harm objects though it can be used to transform objects into projectiles. The object will leviate while focus is maintained preventing the use of simultaneous techniques.

"A simple charm, really. Allows us to first target an object, then lift it through the use of Mahou and chakra. This can be used for Defensive needs, like bringing a powerful object in front of a projectile, however, it does not work on people themselves. Requires constant concentration too."

I then point to a large statue of Lord Salazar standing close by.

"How about trying to lift that? And explain to me how you would use this more."

I state, as I swing my own wand around.

Yamraiha listened eagerly to what her teacher had to say and read somewhere in a book about this charm and she honestly couldn't wait to lift something up with her precious wand. She looked at the statue her teacher pointed at and bowed down towards it. "Salazar..." She had heard stories about this man and could be called a fan and wondered if the sorting hat made the right decision for putting her in Ravenclaw. Her head was down, and as she was about to raise, she would stand in a solid but yet effective stance so that she could perform the spell effortlessly. Yamraiha took a deep breath, closed her eyes and tried to bring her Mahou to the extent. With a swift sweep she would lift the statue up. "Wingardium levio-sa!" Upon pronouncing the correct verbal word for the spell to take effect the statue would lift up and took her now light blue eyes off the statue, back to her teacher. "H-how is this?"

 

[Detective L]

Her performance wasn't that bad. She seemed well versed in utilizing Mahou, even though she wasn't of Slytherin. Nonetheless, I lifted my head and looked at her.

"Not bad, kid. How more would you use this specific charm?"

Having fought a large amount of battles over the years, Judal had used most of these spells to their full potential.

 

[Jokey]

Yamraiha giggled as her teacher acknowledged her.

"I would basically use this charm to shoot up certain objects towards the opponent. Let's say for example, my opponent has used a golem that was completely destroyed, I would practically use the rubble and remainings to turn them into projectiles. Or, if my enemy decides to throw a earth technique towards me, or any type of projectile like kunai's, shuriken's or whatever I'd simply say the words needed for the technique to trigger, and send it right back at them."

She paused as she took a deep breath and scratched thru her silk blue hair.

"I have a few questions regarding the charm. What rank do we consider it to be? What's the extent of this technique and does it appear through a stream or simple flash? And how big can said object be to be able to turn it into a projectile?"

 

[Detective L]

I nodded my head in response to her answer. Although not everything, she understood what the Charm could be used for. Nonetheless, she too had questions.

"Good, and as for your questions, Wingardium Leviosa is a D rank Charm. It has no flash or stream, since the Mahou and chakra is focused around the object to be propelled or lifted. It works up to Mid range, and it can lift items far heavier than you, so there isn't really a given limit for it."

I state, as I cross my arms and stand proud. This might be a low level Charm, but it was so useful when used in the right conditions.

"Ready for the next one?"

Yamraiha's eyes sparkled out of pure excitement. She kept dreaming about this day, the day that she could master Mahou... She looked up, and shed a tear. "Mom..." Yamraiha was still a kid and had her moments now and then, but it didn't change the fact that she kept an elegant and yet composed attitude.

"Y-yes sir!"

"Good, I like students that are ready for anything."

Disarming Charm: - Supplementary

The Disarming Charm ( Expelliarmus ) is a charm which forces the target to release whatever they were holding at the time. This happens by the wave hitting the target and triggers a "knee jerk" reaction on contact that causes a muscle spasm that releases the weapon. The Disarming Charm causes whatever an opponent is holding at the time to fly high out of their reach, landing 5 meters away. The Disarming Charm always appears as a jet of red light; indeed, this is one of the things that makes it recognisable before the effects of the charm are seen. This can be used up to mid range away from the user.

"One day someone approaches you, sword in hand, and you don't like this. What do you do? Expelliarmus. The Disarming Charm. Pretty bad ass, you blast the opponent with a jet of red light, creating a knee jerk reaction to where they just leave whatever they are holding at the time, like a sword, a knife, whatever. Its blasted away five meters from them, and allows you to attack at the same time, if you close, for example. So yeah, use it to blast the books from that kid's hands. I don't why he's carrying so many books, probably a first year. Stupid ass kids."

I state, as I point to a random kid in a robe that just happens to pass by.

She swung her wand towards the kid and a sudden red light would emit from her wand, forcing the books the kid was carrying to fall.

"Professor, can we also use this on large summons? For example toads that are carrying huge equipment?"

Her performance was quite good, it seemed she was fueled by much more than just ambition. Couldn't quite put my hand on it. Hm.

"Yes, it can be used on larger targets as well, making them lose their weapons would be a great sight, wouldn't it?"

Summoning Charm: - Supplementary

The Summoning Charm (Accio) was a charm that caused an object at a distance from the caster to fly into their arms. This spell needs thought behind it, the object must be clear in the caster's mind, before trying to summon. The charm works by the user targeting an object as he speaks and using his mahou to mark it and act as a beacon, the item honing in on the user's location. This spell needs thought behind it, the object must be clear in the caster’s mind, before trying to summon. Should an item be within long range, it will take 1 turn to arrive. Should it not be on the battlefield, it will take 2. Cannot be used on items fueled with foreign chakra. Cannot be used as a substitute to the various summoning techniques.

"Now, you forgot some stuff at home and your Professor wants it, what do you do? You Accio it. Accio, or the Summoning Charm, is a charm used to bring forth an object from afar. To do so, have an image of it in your mind, picture it, and summon it. The object is marked with mahou and you will act as a beacon for it to come to you. Within Long range, the object will take 1 turn to arrive. So bring something from your dorm here."

I said, as I crossed my arms, and waited patiently.
