Yin stood behind his friend and made a single hand seal. Yin manipulated the water in the air to cast a unique form of genjutsu on his comrade. The technique made him feel as though he were at an incredibly high altitude, much higher than he actually was. His head and equilibrium would begin to weigh on him suddenly and he'd find it difficult to breath.

Description:
To overcome the main weakness of Genjutsu (range), Scorps and Emperor found a way to induce genjutsu at higher distances. They found that if they used elemental manipulation and chakra as the medium for genjutsu, they could power the genjutsu longer and to higher effects. However, this also meant that this genjutsu would suffer from elemental weakness when facing elemental surges from the enemy as a release attempt. By doing the horse hand seal, the user infuses the moisture in the battle field with his chakra. The chakra infused moisture will be inhaled by all enemies on field as they breathe. Once the chakra is inside the enemy, it disturbs their chakra flow from the inside in a parasitic manner, inducing a powerful illusion in which the enemy feels as if the air is progressively harder to breathe. He'll feel as if he's breathing in a 8000 metre high altitude, leading his body to react accordingly. With the illusion that the atmosphere is thinner and lacks oxygen, the enemy will tire quickly and will begin to feel his mind dull and slow, as his body reacts to the illusion. Of course the oxygen level is the same and nothing really happens to the enemy body a part from the symptoms his mind induces as a response to the illusion. The enemy has 2 turns to release the technique otherwise they'll faint. Once triggered, due to the illusionary fatigue, as each turn passes, the enemy will feel hard to use higher ranked techniques, some ranks even, completely inaccessible to him. In the first turn, he can't use Taijutsu above D-Rank and loses the stamina needed to use Forbidden ranked techniques. In the second turn and prior to his loss of consciousness, he becomes unable to move and can only use B-Ranks and below

Despite the inherent subtlety of the genjutsu the chakra inside Corvo would be detected by him instantly due to his Taijin. Yin's intentions were not to deceive Corvo but push his limits. By casting genjutsu upon the him he provoked the self omniscient abilities of Corvo's taijin. As well, the strain of the genjutsu pushed his mental strength to the test, all while he attempted to use his external taijin abilities to detect other members in his clan.

"Something like this would drive the ordinary man mad...but remember our laws. Only when you become nothing can you be everything. Do not focus on one thing but do not split your mind on all that is around you. Regress to nothingness and your being will be focused and divided simultaneously."

Corvo continued to meditate and focus on his taijin; he could begin to feel the existence of less experienced members and as a result, gained a new understanding of this process. It was then that he had suddenly become aware of an intruding spiritual attack through taijin that followed with a feeling of difficulty in breathing. Through keeping his composure and honing in on the words of Rin as he spoke, he would grasp the true concept of being and non-being. It was an almost instinctual and effortless state of applying the philosophy of the clan's teachings in order to simultaneously perceive the existence of his kin all while feeling his increased spiritual fortitude wear on the effects of the attack cast upon him. He would after a brief amount of time dispel the illusion through kai, with his eyes still closed and meditating, as he slowly opened his eyes. A new man had awakened as the world in front of him came to view.

1) The portion of the clan submission outlining the aspect of Spirituality doesn't seem to include anything about an increase in the time we have for the effects of a spiritual attack that inflicts gradual effects to take place, but logically if we have increased spiritual energy and as a result, a greater sense of fighting off these effects, I'm inclined to say that the time we have to fight off this particular attack (2) would be extended, but to what number I'm not sure.

2) Within the first turn of being under its effect, we would be capable of using taijutsu up to C-rank as oppose to D, and we would become capable of using F-ranked techniques.

3) We would be capable of moving, along with being able to use A-ranks and below.

2.9/3 which like 96% You're correct on all fronts you just need to go a bit further on the first question. If you were to guess how much longer you were to be able to remain in the genjutsu based on all the other factors in this area, how many turns longer would you be able to stay?

The effects we'd be under once we've reached that extra turn of being affected by the illusion will reflect those that normal shinobi would be under in the previous turn (in this case, we would experience a loss of mobility and be restricted to only B-ranks and below on the third turn of being under the effects of this illusion, as oppose to this occurring on the second; is this correct?).

After Yu Han Sung completed the task the remaining clone, Yang, took to his feet and tapped the shoulder of his uncle and walked out the training hall. The silent instruction to follow Yang should have been obvious. When the two exited Yang led his uncle to a familiar place, the Dragon Shrine that Sung and his family have been in charge of protecting for generations.

"I never figured you'd be the last one to finish an assignment as easy as this Oji-sama. Don't tell me you're getting old early." Yang said.

"I figure the others are working on Taijin right about now, why don't we work on our spiritual training instead?" Yang suggested.

"My sincerest apologies, nephew. And yes, it most certainly feels like I'm getting too old already, but I think some spiritual training might put the life back in me. I'm committed to proceeding whenever you wish."​

"I'll certainly say it took you long enough. Genjiro-san would've scolded you for your sloth." Reborn said.

Reborn took of his sandles and made his way into the center of the shrine. He placed his hands together in prayer and respect to his ancestors before him. "Oji-sama..." Reborn turned looked at his uncle with the fiery amber eyes of the Hayabusa. He smirked, "I hate to be kept waiting, so don't expect me to take it easy on you." With his hands still together he puts them in the form of the tiger hand sign and places Sung in an illusion. The youthful androgynous man would feel a powerful wave of pain in his body as the cells in his skin slowly begin to die and blacken.

"Don't worry about breaking it, just hold it there for as long as you can. I'll make sure to break it before you collapse." Yang said.

Hando no Shinigami (Hand of the Death God)

Description: This technique was derived from Yondaime Hokage's Dead Demon Seal. The user will create the Bore → Hare Seals and then clap his hands together to initiate the illusion. Once the illusion is initiated the victim will begin to experience an excruciating wave throughout their body. While this happens the victim will see and feel their hands and feet becoming black and the pain in those sections of their body will feel even more excruciating. The process the victim feels himself going through is similar to the affects of the Dead Demon Seal as it happened on Orochimaru's arms, necrosis (The Death of cells). The necrosis of the victims hands and feet spreads up their arms and legs and onto their body. Once this has spread to the entire body from the neck down, the world around the victim will become a dark mist of bloody crimson and the Death God will appear before the victim and place his hand on the their head. The victim will feel as if the soul from his head is being pulled out and the necrosis of the rest of his body from the neck up will occur.
~This technique lasts 4 turns unless broken. During the first turn the victims hands and feet will turn black as a result of the affects of the illusion. The second turn will cause the illusion to spread to completely immobilize and affect the arms and legs. The third turn will cover the rest of the body from the neck down and in the final turn the Shinigami will appear and the user will feel the soul from their head being pulled out by the shinigami, which will cause the illusion's affect to spread from the neck upwards.
~This technique can only be used twice per battle and one must skip two turns before attempting the second time.
~If used twice the user cannot use genjutsu for the rest of the match
~No other genjutsu can be used while this technique is in play

Based on the clan's spirituality passive clause, tell me how long this technique is going to take to affect you completely?

Explain to me the turn-by-turn affects based on the description of this technique and your Hayabusa spiritual nature.

Uh.. I'd say eight turns before I'm completely affected? Instead of the entire part being atrophied, it'd be half as much each turn. Turn 1: all fingers and toes, then followed by both hands and feet in their entirety during the next turn. Turn 3: the necrosis would spread to perhaps the elbows and knees, then the entirety of the arms and legs. Breaking the standard third turn into two components would be harder, but maybe the necrosis would spread from the legs and then the arms? I think regardless, the appearance of the Shinigami wouldn't occur until the sixth turn. The final two turns would simply be the necrosis gradually spreading up the head and it wouldn't be completed until the eighth turn.​

Wrong, it would be 5 turns. Spirituality specifies the status affects of spiritual techniques weakening by a single turn. If the technique is 4 then this would be 5 for a Hayabusa. The damage would be reduced by half though.

This ability is probably the most simple and concise of the three passives. For this I will be covering three aspects:

-Passive: Damage reduction
-Passive: Status affect tolerance
-Active: Complete immunity

The first part of the spirituality ability is as follows "he damage and effects are reduced by half" this is almost inconsequential in the grand scheme of the RP since a) there are very few non-genjutsu based mental techniques and b) damage points are incredibly difficult to quantify in terms of our RP ironically enough. It's not a matter of simply saying "reduce the hit points by half and subtract that from our health." The only real usefulness of this first ability is in reducing spiritual wave like techniques that come against us and do some form of damage to our mental or spiritual being. We resist the technique by saying half of it is nothing to us.

Nekura techniques for example. Assuming no damage multipliers. A-rank spiritual chakra against us, that amount of chakra at a base is going to do 60 damage, only half of that with the potency of their chakra would affect us. therefore if we used a technique that could interact with it and weaken it by half, the technique would still hit us but have no affect on our mental or spiritual being. I used them as an example as they are the most prominent with a spiritual like attack. The damage multipliers become a problem as their potency of chakra produces a higher degree of damage. An A-rank that does S-rank level damage, we'd need to reduce the damage by half of whatever the respective power they are producing with their chakra.

Status tolerance refers to restrictions like "If jutsu is not released in x number of turns" or "exposure for y number of turns will cause whatever." . This is rather self explanatory. If you're under a genjutsu that gives you 4 turns to break before passing out, you pass out after 5. If it says you require A-rank to resist this technique you need B-rank.

We'll use my Hand of the Shinigami as an example. The technique is dynamic, tell 1) how long this would take to complete and 2) how the progression of each turn would work according to the jutsu's notes and turn by turn affects in regard to a Hayabusa.

Finally the active aspect of this ability. Be it genjutsu, Nekura chakra, Yamanaka, any spiritual/mental technique shy of Yin Release/MS level can be completely neutralized and have no affect whatsoever. Even Sharingan genjutsu below MS grade can be adequately neutralized. This is essentially a "get out of jail free" card or at "take advantage of an unknowing opponent" card that allows you to get out of that one or two (depending on your level) hax gen or mental techniques or capitalize on an opponent who is unaware of this ability and they try to stop the progression of an attack by countering with some move like that.

My Understanding of Things So Far

These aren't questions as much as they are me taking in all that's been said in the thread, I'm asking whether my interpretation is correct.

1. Wujin is the Chakra of the Three Watatsumi Dragons, the chakra that was imbued onto those of the Hayabusa Lineage. This chakra is what enables us to erase our existence; physical, mental and spiritual.
2. Ever human being has multiple planes of existence: Physical, Mental and Spiritual. Through the three dantians we are capable of manipulating each. The lower dantain refers to our physical existence, through the Chakra of the Dragons we are able to erase our physical existence (through reading some of the descriptions, I'd say the chakra of the dragons is like a flame that burns away your existence, don't know whether that would be a good analogy but that is what I got from reading it.) As Hayabusa we passively are capable of evading extrasensory abilities, such as Chakra Sensory etc. However in order to evade the five basic senses, we must utilize the Chakra of the Dragon, and link our Dantains through it in order to erase our existence on whichever plane we wish.
3. Despite being capable of erasing our complete existence we still are capable of sensing ourselves, and one another. I believe this ability was called Taijin. Taijin enables us to decipher whether we've been placed under a genjutsu. We have complete awareness of our physical, mental and spiritual selves.
4. Taijin is so great, that one is aware of any minute changes, and is aware of the location of any part of their being. This goes for blood, chakra, saliva, literally any part of ones being. This means, no matter what affect Genjutsu has on those of the Hayabusa are "aware" of it. This does not mean they can break it.
5. We can even sense other Hayabusa Member's existence but this is dependent on the level of skill possessed. For example a Chunin would be able to detect a Genin, but the reverse would not be possible. So the stronger you get, the more Hayabusa Members you can detect.
6. From the Water Genjutsu, I think I picked up that we are also slightly resistant to the effects of Genjutsu. For example the Genjutsu that has multiple effects after a few turns would be delayed by one turn.

Killua had been alongside Corvo, Sung, and Reborn the entire time.. sitting quietly in his navy blue and black uniform not answering a single question. It was in his nature to observe, watching quietly and analyzing the responses of both Corvo, Nanashi, and Sung he would take their mistakes as lessons. He attempted to perform all the tasks Reborn had asked of the class to the utmost of his ability, but he had received no acknowledgement so he would assume that he had yet to achieve what his Sensei had asked of him. Killua would once more, re-position himself. Sitting in a lotus position with his hands palms facing outwards. Killua would simply think back to the days of torture, his stepmother digger deeper and deeper into the space beneath his nails. In order to escape the misery, Killua would escape himself, his coping mechanism was to feel nothing, to be nothing. Emptiness..., complete and utter emptiness. The action was so natural, the chakra of the dragon would consume his existence like a raging flame. From the lower dantain to his upper dantain.

1. Can I solely erase visibility of one of my techniques without actual erasing its existence. For example if I launch a fireball, can I erase its visibility without erasing its existence, like theirs still a fireball hurtling towards you.

2. Can I erase the existence of entities besides me? I read the technique and you can erase people, but can you erase enemy techniques?

Wujin is an ability not chakra. Chakra of the Dragon is the chakra of the Hayabusa, which is the combination of the chakra that naturally exists within us and the segments of the Sanjin that were infused through all Hayabusa pre-Kaguya crisis. Wujin is the ability that erases our perceived existence from others either passively or actively. Passively, any mode of sensory or means of perception outside the 5 cardinal senses (visual, audible, olfactory, tactile, taste). This means entities like dojutsu chakra perception, chakra sensory, energy sensing, intent, heat, etc our off the table. Actively, negate every conceivable means of perception.

This is very simplified Dao. In our context as well as the RP context as well is only two important "planes": existence and non-existence. Non-existence being absence of existence and existence being the absence of non-existence. Do not use the word "plane" in any other context than "what is" and "what is not" with our clan, you'll only get confused.

Example: I shoot a fireball everything within the confines of the five basic senses will remain in the perception of others; the feeling of heat, the sound of it, the visual nature, and (if applicable) smells and taste. However the chakra within the technique is not within perception. If your opponent is blind, deaf, and dumb with his basic senses but has some sort of chakra perception he'd be unable to detect the chakra within our technique.

In essence you cannot, without the aid of a technique, conceal your techniques from the five senses. However, chakra perception of our techniques is impossible since, within the clan description, our chakra cannot be sensed. Any follow up?

Killua would open his eyes to find that he had not at all completed what he was tasked with, although a normal boy or even a grown man would be frustrated in Killua's place. The boy felt nothing, his face expressionless it was as if he was devoid of emotion entirely. He blinked once of twice before looking towards Reborn. Despite the man being in his twenties, Killua was almost his height. Despite this the man gave Killua the chills, it was different from those powerful men he had met on his past journeys. It wasn't as if he had some sort of aura about him.. in fact it was the opposite. Killua would come towards the man as he called him over asking of his name, "I am Killua." Killua would say bluntly, staring at Reborn for further instruction.

"There should be another coming here for remedial...I mean for extra lessons but I don't know where he is." Reborn scratched his head, "Well, that's a lie, I know exactly where he is but I don't know why he isn't here yet. Read these for now while we wait." Reborn gave Killua a few scrolls. They were short, but most of all, they were blank without any writing. "See if you can read those and figure out what they mean."
