No it didn't say he led armies. But it would make sense that he would have a band of horsemen or small army under his command. Most princes do in preparations for leading as King, which he was thought to be the next. Till he saw the darker aspects of life, etc.
Assuming it's all true of course.
I think he was in his 30's but I'm not exactly sure. But that's the gist of it from what I saw.

You shouldn't jump to conclusions like that. His kingdom might not even be a kingdom per se... Since Shakya had a republic/oligarchy( as many other small " kingdoms" of the time) system rather than a monarchy many historians believe his father was an elected chief rather than a monarch.

He was born almost 500 years before Christ. And all the major Buddhist centers were destroyed when invaders came in 11 century and around. Libraries were burned down...Universities ransacked. So the history was already sketchy and whatever there was, most of it is gone.

I dont understand the point of these quotes. The second and third one state that disbelievers will be punished which all religions believe. As for the first one tbh I have nothing to say, there is plenty of stuff about that quote and im not going to bother writing an explanation which you can find on the internet. I love people who like to believe that Arabs follow Islam. Arabs (not all) are the most arrogant, hypocritical people I know. Just look at how the Kings and princes behave and you will know how much they follow Islam.
As for this conflict I am not really aware of what exactly happened. Anybody can correct me if I am wrong but after WWII the UN gave the Jews Israel but they started to expand and take over parts that were not given to them? Is that right? I know its probably not as black and white as that and I dont have time to read about everything.

The point in these quotes is to point out that Islam is a violent religion which tells its followers to fight,kill, and persecute people of other religions. Terrorists use this to justify their killings. That doesn't mean I can't pull stupid shit out of the other two religions though.

For every quote you can find on killing in the Qur'an, you can find a quote that says to be peaceful, lol. The same goes for every other religion like Judaism, and Christianity. People deny the Old Testament's punishment because in one verse in the new testament it says you don't have to follow it. While in another verse it says you do. It's ridiculous.
At the end of the day, it depends on the people, and not the religion. I'll give you an example: Right now, there are Buddhists killing minority Christians and Muslims in horrible ways, yet Buddhism is very pacifistic in nature. Isn't that funny?
You have to think, what causes Muslims to resort to such hate and violence, because generally, people who know only peace, will not go towards such extreme and hateful paths. Perhaps, it's the violence in their nations that gives them a kill or be killed mentality, who knows? In the Middle-East, you can find Muslims without beards, who don't pray or fast, who sin all the time, but will kill others who "sin". And believe me, this is a large portion of people who do this. If Islam was so important to them, obviously they'd address the things in Islam that are stressed more like prayer, but they don't. It really makes you think.

So in regards to those verses you quoted, understand that they were at a specific time - 1,400 years ago - targeted toward a specific groups, who violated the treaty and attacked the Muslims, so the Quran gives a commandment for the Muslims to fight back against those who attack them.

who do you think live in Israel? do you know why and how the country was created in the first place? after ww2 the allies created Israel for jews to live so they could have their own country to protect them. idk if your aware but 7million jews were killed by the Nazis.
