You can't say that Madara was the only one not using all his abilities in that fight. Naruto never handed out kyuubi cloaks, They never used Kyuubi-Susanoo.

Every attack Madara used was countered. Naruto dealt with the Limbo clones, while Sasuke cut up most of the meteors. Sakura and Kakashi got through that fight unharmed, so clearly he wasn't hitting anyone.

Actually sasuke destroyed one meteor Naruto fought limbo clones and destroyed the rest with rasenshuriken

Madara doesn't exist. No one in Narutoverse has there own "mindset". Everything they say and think contributes o the plot and conveys the authors thoughts and opinions.

But Madara was without doubt overpowering Naruto and Sasuke. He just used Mokuton on a planetary scale, Team 7 would hate to see what he could do with Six Paths and Mokuton as a whole.

Everyone has a mindset, determined by Kishi. If you only see ink people fighting, that's your lookout. It is possible for a character to be wrong, you know.

It just pisses me off how Madara conveniently forgot he had Susanoo, Mokuton, Shinsuusenju, Six Paths Jutsu (could've made Hashirama a puppet...) and a whole lot of Rinne OP powers.

What really stopped him from blasting Sasuke and Naruto far away with Shinra Tensei? Why didn't he absorb the Lava Rasenshuriken? Or use Susanoo to block it nonetheless? Shinsuusenju with Perfect Susanoo and Juubi is the ultimate trump card! :/

But then Kishi will probably retcon by saying Madara was saving up chakra...

Madara clearly had far more superior techs up his sleeve but used non of them.

Madara couldn't used Susanoo when he became a Juubi Jinchuriki.

Madara's plan was to use the Tsukuyomi, and in one way or another, he succeeded.

He did not want to exterminate people or fight endlessly.

Even against Naruto and Sasuke, he has only created diversions to use the Tsukuyomi. Comparisons with other villains do not make sense.

When he was Edo Tensei'd and just Rinne Tensei'd i.e. blind Madara/with one Rinnegan, he was a complete badass. I was so excited to see him destroy Naruto and Sasuke after he becomes Juubi's jinchuuriki and gets both Rinnegan. After he got one Rinnegan and became Juubi Jin, he got beaten up by Gai. That was fine because it was understandable i.e. he couldn't use Susanoo because he didn't have both eyes, and Mokuton and Limbo would be useless since Gai was way faster. But after absorbing Shinju and gaining two Rinnegan, I had high expectations for him. But he was such a disappointment i.e. got the biggest nerf in Naruto history. Kishi should have though of a better way to deal with him, TBH.

tbh given how much of a pathetic villain Kaguya was(she was like Naruto with his shadow clones but she had her dimensions) Madara would hv acc been an amazing end boss. I mean you could even have out in symbolically as

1)Sasuke, the current generation villain, was redeemed
2)Obito, the previous generation villain, was redeemed(?)
3)Madara, yet to be defeated

Madara acc didnt get a single power up. Everything he achieved was through his own skill and power. I mean things acc didnt go according to plan and he still adopted to it. Kishi could hv even thrown in some of his bs co-operation shit in but no, he had to go and resurrect Kaguya for her to be murked by Naruto. And dont even get me started on how shit the fight between Sasuke and Naruto was.
