There are literally no negative repercussions to you or anyone else by "encouraging" this, but there is in doing the opposite. "Love is they key to what we call peace" but you're being intolerant? SMH
Love is the key to peace. But that doesn't mean anything is ok. I mean it's defying nature. You have your point of view and I have mine though so it doesn't really matter.

Who gives a shit? Did you grow the device you typed this on from a seed? How well did the pilots nurse the last plane you flew in from babyhood to adulthood? I really hope the last car you took a ride in gets to see his family often.

We're surrounded and embrace tons of shit that defy nature. What makes humanity so great is that we didn't just let nature run us, that's what separates us from animals running around relying on primitive intelligence and instinct.

Is Caitlyn hurting anyone? No. Is she happy? Yes. So what gives any of us the right to be dicks about it? "Oh it's so bad" "This is so sad" It's really not. It's sad to see people being so negative towards another person's happiness that isn't harming or impeding on anyone else just because they feel the need to be intolerant. The sooner this bigotry and the generations that exhibit it die off, the better.

There's no point in arguing with someone like you. No offense lol you just won't understand my point of view. I can see where you're coming from but I disagree.

I understand your point of view, I just disagree because I think it's really stupid.

I would just like to know, WHY is it a bad thing?

Lol it's not that stupid. Humans have defied nature in other ways but those have nothing to do with this. It's changing a man into a woman which does affect other people around him. At the end of the day everyone is entitled to make their own decisions eventually and there's nothing anyone can do about it. It's not like I hate him I just don't agree with what he did. Even if it does make him happy I don't think its the right thing to do. That's my opinion. i can't stop people from making their decisions it is what it is. I'm sure there are people out there who don't agree with some of the decisions I make that's just how it is.

Lol ok. So if you didn't know a transgender was a transgender and let's say you hooked up with HIM. Then you found out after you're telling me that wouldn't bother you? Lmao

I'd bother me that I was told beforehand, because that'd be a violation of my trust. But, I would still regard her as a woman, I would no longer think of her as a man. I would just be offended or hurt that they felt the need to conceal that from me if we were that far in a relationship.

If this is just a random one night stand, I don't care, we don't have to see each other again and we weren't that close anyways.

So you would be okay with "hooking up" with a transgender? You would be okay with engaging in intercourse with a man?

I agree with FoxesInWonderland

I no longer consider that person a man, so no, I might be weirded out at first, but I can't say for certainty that I wouldn't.

The worst thing that can happen is that a transsexual person will make you uncomfortable cuz you on some intolerant shit. Believe it or not, you being comfortable is just not that important to overweigh someone's right to be happy. Get over yourself.

I didn't think this would bother me at all. He doesn't bother me, it's his life to make his own choices. It's people's reaction that has bothered me. I keep hearing comments like "she's so brave," but if most people are being supportive there is nothing brave about it. The only thing he's doing that's brave is (eventually) removing his testicles. That's brave; those don't grow back. Society not only seems to be predominately in support his choice, but they are also lashing out against people who speak their beliefs against it. In a way now speaking out against it is more brave these days.

The problem I see is that people are picking and choosing which abnormal behavior to normalize. He suffers from a severe case of Body Dysmorphic Disorder and possible Histrionic Personality Disorder. That's fine; we should treat people with respect if we can, no matter what their physical or psychiatric affliction, but people don't show the same courtesy to those suffering from Schizophrenia. Society shuns those who are psychotic. They don't consider them to be brave when they stop taking their medications. They do the opposite; they lock them up in jails or psychiatric hospitals. Even if you argue that Bruce Jenner's mental condition is natural, you can't deny that a Schizophrenic's are as well.

I've noticed many of the people who vehemently protest GMO crops are largely in support of Bruce's transformation. That's just hypocrisy. While you can argue that his mental disorder may be organic, his action of altering his gender goes against nature. With the hormone injections and surgeries he's undergoing, he is basically a genetically modified organism himself. The argument that GMO crops are unnatural and bad for us (which they aren't, but that's a whole different rant), but GMO people are natural and beautiful is illogical.

So what's next? Will we start to normalize pedophilia? In ten years will we see a People magazine where a celebrity says, "I dated women my age for years, but I was really just lying to myself. I always knew I loved 12 year old girls." Will people call that person brave? That isn't just a joke. Normalizing abnormal behavior is a slippery slope and it causes the norms of society change. One can argue that pedophilia isn't natural, but it actually is. For millions of years we began procreation with women toward the onset of their menstrual cycle. When we go against nature we see it fight back. One consequence to pushing reproduction back in favor of our careers is the increase in disorders such as Autism and Down's Syndrome (maybe even ADHD). What would be the consequence for realigning one's gender? I don't know; only time will tell.

So I don't mind advocating for people like Bruce Jenner who are mentally ill, but I will also advocate for other mentally ill people who are not given such applause for their sickness. I don't believe in normalizing abnormal behavior, but I do believe in treating people with respect and empathy. This is how I can treat pedophiles, alcoholics, rapists, and anyone else that society doesn't consider to be so brave. It isn't about agreeing with the act. It is about treating the person as a human.

Sorry for the rant.
