I do agree with macho... it makes no sense if Mihawk was attacking Luffy with the blunt edge of his sword when clearly he's been aiming to kill luffy from the start. I believe he was in the process of slashing luffy saw Croc boy coming to attack him and proceeds to block Croc boy attack instead of slashing Luffy hence the question mark...

You're the one that still doesn't get it...Daz bones blocked Mihawk attack on Luffy saying "order from the top,all marines are the enemy) but he ends up writhing in pain on the ground with Mihawk in that same panel about to strike Luffy.

The next panel focuses on Mihawk's face with "!'' as if he suddenly noticed something rushing at him which was croc boy probably to defend Luffy or because of Daz bones who Mihawk had hurt....

The next panel shows Mihawk blocking the said attack...

Crocodile still tried to kill WB, tell mihawk to **** off, took Sakazuki without fear defeated Luffy 3 times with instant KO's (the only reason Luffy was able to beat Croc was cos his hand was covered in blood, and obs plot), and took a point blank Jozu charge, the man who overwhelmed the Giants, took on Aokiji, forced Sakazuki to intevene.

I am not at all suggesting thr he can beat Doflamingo. He can't. However, Doflamingo hasnt shown any haki in his strings and it culdn't even cut through Law haki.

For all those saying tht Croc has no Haki.. pre timeskip wven tho there were elite pirates (Marco, jozu, WB, amongst others) no1 showed the characteristic black markings of Haki. Croc is a New World veteran who survived WB and still tried to attack him, and that is ****ing admirable, wheras Doffy is scared shitles by a Yonko who went to attack WB in a war and not a 1 v 1.
