Even tho he got his ass handed to him (similar to sanji) he showed feats during this process and that was tanking feats as well of showing how strong his haki is his haki is strong enough to go toe to toe with someone with the haki of vergos caliber who has shown insane amount of haki feats compared to what zoro has shown ... It shows that he can go toe to toe with someone of tht league for awhile while not really focused on him mind u his goal was trying to get laws heart ....

I see complete different. He gave up right after Law got his heart back so I don't see that as going all out.

That moment when you realize that Smoker wanted to retrieve Law's heart because he knew he wouldn't have been able to defeat Vergo himself. Otherwise, he would have just did it and saving Law's life from Vergo would have been sufficient enough to clear his debt with Law.

No but in terms of feats for haki bellamy haki is over zoros until proven otherwise and u need strong haki to damage smoker not to mention he has become sort of a tank since PTS he can take damage andnhes a lugia.. so u need strong enough haki to hurt him something zoro hasn't shown there are many other reasons why zoro most likely wouldn't win against smoker for one smoker is faster shown against keeping up with Law and vergo he also can fly out of range and use his haki to tank zoro attacks or just fly away from them he also can tank hits from someone most likely physically stronger then zoro (tht being vergo with haki) as well as being overall more versatile then zoro
The only category that zoro wins against smoker in is physical and that's not enough to best him

I'd say Zoro, but with incredible difficulty.

Eh, if that's how you see it. One could say that Smoker was going all out against Vergo, but when he saw he was unable to defeat him on his own, decided to change efforts to get Law's heart back instead. It'd make sense when you consider that Smoker didn't envelope him in smoke to actually snag the heart until the fight had gone on for a bit, during which Smoker was trying to simply beat down Vergo.

What's the point of bringing up Vergo into this discussion when even Zoro can't defeat him? It's clear that Smoker didn't go all out either, since you just said so yourself, he stopped (changed his efforts).

We all know my opinion on this matter.
Smoker wins high/extreme diff.
There isn't enough feats nor is there enough to put one over the other currently of course IMO Smoker has shown greater CoA and speed feats...however Smoker is always fighting the top dogs (Law, Vergo, Doflamingo etc...) and is portrayed to be Luffy's rival.
Now before all the Zoro fanboys & T Bogard jump in butthurt this is my opinion and nothing anyone in this thread will be able to determine who can win between these two.
