Quickly after forming the chakra and unitizing it, he generates a large amount of lightning from his hands as if it's an overflowing current but unstable. He performs for the technique once more, Rabbit → Dog → Boar → Ram → Rat after forming the chakra and unitizing it, he generates a large amount of lightning from his hands as if it's an overflowing current but unstable as he holds his katana, the electricity conducted from the technique, Essen notices it isn't enhancing the cutting ability of the blade but rather electrifying it.

Essen quickly get's into position for the next technique, focusing his chakra to his hands, ration chakra begins to awake as it crackles around him, then slamming his hands into the ground (electric current racing through the ground) the earth cracks with light under, the trees in a distant flutter with electricity and wither out of shape. "quite the danger, this technique is useful even on land to water bases allowing much suited use" Essen said in distress.
OOC: You didn't mention anything about the tendrils that emerge at your desired position T_T. From your description the only image I got was that lightning will move through the earth from your position.
XD I was imagining the roots of the trees being attacked and zapping the tree all together. The tendrils weren't imaged in my mind as the subject of attack couldn't move thus no need for the tendrils emerging out of the ground to hit the trees while it could do the same under.
Try not to deviate from the description of a technique too much. That can lead to a lot of issues in official and even unofficial fights. People can claim you're abusing a technique or not using it within the scope of it. Which can lead to complications and difficulties that are just plain annoying Lol. The technique uses a tendril (or multiple, up to you) to attack and deal its damage. The attack itself doesn't come from directly below underground, if that makes sense. You have to create the tendril to hit the target. Make sense^^?
Once more Essen brings his hands together and as an electrical current crackles around him—then slamming his hands to the ground to send an electric current racing through the earth, toward the west trees and east. Essen's electric current splits into multiple tendrils to attack separate targets individually. "This technique can hit more that 10 people or even more depending on the surface as well as conductive" Essen commented.
