Naruto is actually sideways in that scan. Sasuke teleported behind him, Naruto tried to turn about around, Sasuke hit him. That's why he's falling sideways. Are you saying a guy that can fly jumped and fell from a skyscraper size statue?

Chidori didnt touch naruto.chidori pierces through objects rather than pushing them away I.e.
Rin case, kakuzu case.

In other words he is only defending himself against what Sasuke puts out. The harder Sasuke pushes pulling out more feats Naruto the more feats Naruto will pull until one Naruto gets injured enough or they both reach a satisfying conclusion.
