Every situation, no matter how bleak, has it's positive and negative aspects. I'm going to save you a giant ear full, because you'll get a ton of those as time progresses. The negative here is obvious, you lost someone you love and you don't know if you'll get her back. It's terrible, I've been through it myself and I haven't really been the same since. Moments like this define us and even shape us as a person for the better, which would be a positive of this situation. Another positive thing about this is, you didn't propose yet. What if she were to accept your invitation to be soul mates then weeks after the marriage she decided it wasn't meant to be? Better you know now while your heart isn't as invested as it could be.

It's going to suck, and you're not gonna be over her for a while. But time goes on, and you'll find someone for you.

By what you say, she probably felt controlled or that things were going too fast for her pace. She probably saw the ring coming and felt it was all too much for her! Give her time or you will find another. Life seriously goes on! It may seem like it is all over now but you got to give her space and give yourself space. Don't dwell too much on it and don't call her or text her constantly (not saying you will) then she won't want to get back! That will make her feel smothered! Point is give space between y'all! YoLo, i totally agree that she "mightve" felt smothered with affection like a kid constantly trying to pick up a puppy that wants space to run. Sometimes spontanious action of change of character might be of help. If she notices you ease off the effort of being a panzy you could get a better response. In this position sooner or later youll learn to surpress all anxiety of feeling like you need her in your life. She needs to feel the want to miss you. If yall really shared a concious bond let her mind decide if she wants to suck your chode again. Anyways Main point, do whatchu gotta do.
