I am pretty sure, this is the arc where Uchiha Itachi's power, the crow that he gave to Naruto is going to play some role with respect to Sasuke, because as we all know there have been no more badass ninjas than Itachi, Minato and Jiraiya. =D
Also, Itachi is the primary person in the world Sasuke listens or gives respect to. Remember when Naruto said that, " I am more of a brother to Sasuke than you" and Itachi smiles, and gives him his power. This is it, time to see what that power is.

I liked this chapter. Finally I get to see the fight that I've been waiting for all these years. It was kinda expected, considering Sasuke's late attitude. As for the fight, he has the bijuus now, so if Naruto still beats him, it will be quite a shame on Sasuke. Or, they may both die. But I see no way of Sasuke winning, simply because of the plot.

there are only 3 things different about this fight from the last Naruto vs Sasuke...
1.) sasuke isnt just leaving like an emo cry baby anymore, he is threatening to kill people naruto cares about deeply (tsunade and gaara most especially)
last fight Naruto was holding back and didnt want to kill Sasuke just to try and keep him around.
this time, Naruto will fight to the death to prevent the deaths of the people he cares about.
2.) naruto and sasuke arent alone this time. kakashi and sakura are there, and that will play a factor in the outcome.
3.) sasuke is in WAY over his head. lol. Naruto already warned him...
my favorite part beyond Sasukes awesome evil face. that drawing is legit. i love it...

Being a Sasuke fan for 64 chapters was my limit, I guess. Hope there's a creative tombstone design for the movie.

I really hope it ends at 700. It seems like Sauske has forgotten everything Itachi said to him now. Most people probably don't even remember Sauske leaving, but the entire manga after the jump is about bringing him back WITHOUT killing him. I might be the only one, but I would rather see him TnJ than just get his ass kicked. The Manga called Naruto, probably won't have Sauske killing Naruto anytime soon. In its 15 years, the cannon is rarely tragic. I'm not going to say that I would stop reading if it happens, or if Sauske just goes Madara 2.0 and gets taken out by Team 7, but I will be really disappointed. The only reason I have continued to read this for so long, is just to see Naruto bring him back to the good side. Let everyone hug it out and go get some ramen.
Sauske has led a pretty awful life so far. He's only about 17. It seems like killing him off and / or making him a super villain at this point is kind of dumb. Just end the manga and let the kid live a normal life. The children of Konoha are what made this manga so popular and so fun in the beginning. Its really just a generic story about a village full of ninja. There aren't really any original archtypes outside of the Konoha 12 and the three Sand Ninja. There is no reason why after 700 chapters that this doesn't end "happily ever after". And I actually think that is the way it will happen. The characters Naruto and Sauske are obviously personifications of someone close to Kishi's heart. If I'm wrong, I don't think I will buy any more Naruto merch.

Great chapter, felt like things were just rushed in a way even though it was planned. Can't wait for the upcoming battle.

Not even. What did Gaara or Tsunade have to do with any of it? 3rd and 4th Hokage died too soon and Tsunade was put into the role. Gaara just became Kazekage at the begining of the Jump.
And two of the other villages weren't even mentioned but in passing before the Jump. It was all Leaf, Sand, Mist. Granted the mist is a pretty bad place. But the Sand is way better now that Gaara is running the place. Obito was the cause of all the problems anyway. He and Madara were manipulating everything. Sauske knows that.

This fight was inevitable was i expecting it this so soon no but hell let the final battle begin. This will be what Naruto foresaw after Sasuke's fight with Danzo but Naruto will not die. Now we get to see them go all out. Hell of a chapter.

Sasuke is in the spotlight. God, i hope his goals become reality. It's pretty obvious that the current system doesn't work, not to mention the Five Kage being worthless politicians clinging to their little pieces of land, while the Tailed Beasts are the instruments of conflict - kinda like nukes to our world forces.
I really, really hope this battle lives up to the years of hype and anticipation, though i kinda doubt it. Honestly, it felt kind of rushed. Kaguya got sealed a chapter ago, and now immediately Sasuke's bringing it. It really doesn't make sense for him to wait, but still... seems Kishi simply doesn't want to disappoint us.
