Alright, I don't usually comment in these threads, considering my reviews for each weeks chapter are pretty longer then usual. But this time around, I think I will do it. This chapter earns a solid 5/5. It is one of the few times, I am honestly excited for after next week. If you think about it, carefully, this chapter is shadowing the final ultimate fight, but it is nothing for prophecy let me tell you that. Indra and Ashura understood one another if it wasn't for BZ who started this curse forever. And yet again, no matter what happens, what reasons he has I still don't understand Sasuke.
He has been present this whole battle, and if you think about it. The rinnegan abilities could have done something against Kaguya, but he didn't use it. Reason was that he wanted to keep that set of powers hidden. He knew Naruto would oppose him soon enough. Sasuke unlike Naruto never really looked at Kaguya and the final person who needs to be opposed. Just shows what a turn of a friend he was alive. He was simply, one of the worst friends or brothers you could have. His goal is not even fully clear to himself, the times of war should have stopped finally, and he yet again....wants revolution.
The thing about Sasuke didn't really surprise me, I had more like the expression of Naruto when Sasuke said that he will assassinate the 5 kages first. Sasuke never was fully good, he never will be, he was simply using Naruto to oppose the greatest power then, deal with Naruto and the Kage in silence. It makes me angry how Naruto wasn't fooled, but ultimately wanted to actually believe Sasuke is good. And Hagoromo is even worse, he fully knew what Sasuke will do. He even said that he expected that. And yet again, he trusted him with power. Cause this time he wanted to do choose both as the saviors, not repeat the pasts mistakes.

Now the only thing I am waiting for is Naruto to make the choice. In every battle he had with Sasuke, he didn't fully go all out. In every battle, Sasuke went ahead with full killing intent, piercing his with Chidori, about to stab him in the back, when he fully went against Naruto and co. While Naruto still cared for him, he thinks of him as a brother. Now the only thing left to do, is which promise Naruto wants to keep. To become Hokage, there is no other way then to kill Sasuke. He did promise to Sakura then he will bring Sasuke back. But he did as well promise to everyone else, that he will become Hokage. He told, Jiraiya, Kushina, Minato, Kakashi, Iruka, Obito and everyone else he had met and had an impact on. He even promised Kurama and the Bijuu that he will save them. So let's see.
Naruto make the right choice for the first time of your life. Sasuke is not worth living in any form, don't throw your life all out, without at least keeping the promise finally. Lets the curse of hatred die with Sasuke. Save the Bijuu and keep your promise.

I don't remember seeing Naruto hold back when he promised to break Sasuke's every bone on his body. I think you clearly are twisted for stating such bs. Sasuke was just ahead in terms of skills and power, and anyone who denies that fact is a fanboy.
I give it a 5/5 mostly for the crazy look on Sasuke's face when he says he's going to execute the hokages while they are still under IT. He looked every bit as crazy as Madara did. I think the rinnegan in Uchiha does something to their brains and makes them crazy. I don't like that Sasuke appears to be as crazy as Madara at this point, while it isn't contrived, it did seem rushed. I don't like the way Sasuke is trying to control everyone. I had thought that their fight would be over what would happen to the tailed beast and the hokage thing would be a side issue. While Sasuke was always arrogant I did not see him throwing his power around like this coming.
He has forgotten what it felt to have Itachi and Orochmaru manipulating him most of his life. It made him angry and he rebelled against it. He has forgotten how angry he was at Danzo for manipulating Itachi into killing his clan. He saw how Madara and Obito thought they knew what was best for everyone and how they ended up. He joined the war so Itachi would not have died in vain and now he is willing to let Itachi die in vain so he can control everything with his rinnegan to achieve his goals. It's okay because he knows what's best for everyone now.
He has flipped his lid and Naruto is going to put him in his place. Naruto promised Itachi that if Sasuke will not come around to their way of thinking that Naruto will do whatever he has to do, even kill Sasuke, to stop him. Naruto does not break his promises. Just as Sasuke has been holding back in the battle so has Naruto. Naruto has matured quite a bit during the war and his strategy during battles is usually pretty good because he thinks outside of the box and he is unpredictable.
While he knew they needed to work together, I think Sasuke's trying to kill the tailed beasts with ameratsu when he first showed up, his treatment of Sakura, Kakashi, and Obito during the battle with Madara and then Kaguya, his declaration that he will become hokage and change the village has given Naruto time to realize that Sasuke has not changed. Naruto is much smarter at times than people give him credit for. He knows Sasuke will not be acknowledged by anyone to become hokage so he knows that Sasuke means to force himself into that position by any means possible. Naruto did not play all of his cards during the battle either because he was not ready to trust Sasuke 100%.
I think for the cycle of hatred to end Naruto will not kill Sasuke, but I think even though both of them will be close to death by the end of the battle, Naruto will prevail and TNJ him mostly with Itachi's words and to what lengths Itachi went to save him. He will tell Sasuke about implanting Shisui's eye in the crow to make Sasuke protect the village and about Itachi's feelings on how one becomes a hokage. I do belive it will be a long hard battle before it gets to that point.

That was an insane and awesome chapter ! Crazy how sasuke is going to be the final villain, I never expected that. I think naruto isn't going to resort to violence though, some how he is going to break the cycle of hatred. This is gonna be a nice ending to naruto

Sasuke was aiming to fully go to Orochimaru. Nothing was pretty much stopping him. While Naruto was trying to actually bring him back. When Naruto used the chakra arm to pull kid Sasuke. Why didn't he use Rasegan? Why did he simply punch him? Well because he never really wanted to kill him. While Sasuke did piece him with chidori destroying his lung entirely. Couldn't Naruto have died at that time? And even in the final clash, Naruto aimed to give him a scratch in the heanband, while Sasuke once again targeted the chest. Sasuke had that time only to kill him but he didn't. He said he didn't want MS before fighting Itachi. So let us get fully honest.
Let Naruto go full on killing. He still had the great toad in his arsenal, using clones with Rasengan in the Bijuu chakra form, using the giant toad flame technique. He never really used them did he? I don't know but I really don't think i am fanboying in any form. And if we see current feats from Naruto and Sasuke, Naruto is over him, in any form. Naruto can easily win this if he targets against Sasuke just like Madara at that time.
It's a little interesting, because Naruto was said to have "Little by Little" all of the chakra of the tailed beast. So this means that even though the tailed beast were captured by sasuke, some how Naruto in some ways still have control as well. Can someone give me some clarity.
I love this so much, because it's not completely out of left field. What's even better is that Sasuke is right about the villages/kages causing pretty much every single problem in the series. 5/5 for sure.
