Lmao, everyone (including myself) seems to be hella busy. Hopefully our lives will become a little less hectic soon, maybe even in time for the massive amount of Persona coming this fall/winter, and we can go back to our awesome discussions

I've never used sticks before when playing fighters, but I might just pick this one up. Especially since P4A was heavy on "rotating" the thumbstick or dpad to pull off more complex moves.

I always sucked at fighting games with controllers. I always wondered why Street Fighter was easier in arcades than actual consoles... now I realize it's all about how you play it ~_~
Anyway, reviving dead FC, etc etc. I think we're all traumatized at what they're doing to P4GA. How is this going to be accessible to the new fanbase?! It's literally a NG+ (pretty much confirmed) what if scenario for us longtime fans. Eh, I expected a full remake, but that's just me ;-;

Yeah, same here. With the exception of Tekken, because I've been playing that series since I was a little kid and I'm a beast now
I'll have to practice a bit with P4A so that when Ultimax comes out, I can at least not get my ass handed to me online, lmao.
Ahh yes, P4GA... I still have mixed feelings about it. Like you said, it's basically pure fanservice with no other benefits aside from Marie, which could have easily been done in an OVA instead of 13 (or more) episodes of insanity.
Honestly, I don't think it was necessary to do if that's what their goal was. Instead of going ham on Persona 3/4 with all the spinoffs and movies, they could give more attention to P1 and P2 (more likely P2). I'm sure a Persona 2 Animation would be wayyyy more awesome and accesible to fans, new and old alike.

I just beat the Persona 4 Arena story today...erm, in two days, actually...what am I doing with my life. xD Anyways, very much worth it, can't wait for Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. They did some serious work with meshing both character games together.
