Let me preface this all by saying that I know this post will get down-voted, reported, trolled and turn into a ridiculous flame war. That is not my intention. I genuinely believe the quality of the manga has decreased severely due to ass-pulls on plot and Kishimoto's personal depression.
My heart goes out to the author, who recently lost his father and is consoling his grieving mother. That said, I think we as fans have been betrayed. The manga should have frankly went on a hiatus until Kishimoto got his personal life back on track.
Without further ado, the 5 panels that ruined the Naruto manga franchise.
Sasuke changed due to Hashirama history lesson: Plot hacks

Expection:
For hundreds of chapters we were led to believe Sasuke would fight Naruto. Naruto himself said he had to "change Sasuke" before becoming Hokage. Even Itachi said he left Sasuke to Naruto.
Reality:
Sasuke vs. Naruto will likely never happen. Sasuke inexplicably wants to become Hokage, and changes his mind after Hashirama's history lesson (if anything, he should hate the village more for ostracizing his clan and wrecking his family's life for bigotry). Sauce and Naruto are just pawns of a transmigration scheme ran by some interdimensional being with mommy issues. Awesome.
It's Obito...?

Expectation:
Tobi was obviously going to be an Uchiha. Some speculated Izuna or a figure from history. Others thought it was Obito all along. I'll admit, I didn't think it was Obito. It didn't really make sense. After the backstory I'll admit that it sort of fits. But Obito did a complete about-face on his personality.
Reality:
It was Obito. And his reasons weren't good. Even Kakashi wanted him dead in the end, because Obito was a "complete failure". Verdict? Kishimoto wrecked his character and Sasuke's character in 30 short chapters.
Because you let Rin Die: Butthurt caused the war?

Expectation:
Surely Obito had a good reason for betraying the village and starting a war, murdering hundreds.
Reality:
Nope, it's just because Rin died. Obito gets friend zone'd and decides to try and murder his friends and slaughter his hometown because one girl died a tragic death. So give up on reality and try and slaughter everyone. Awesomely bad writing on this one.
Aizen-level villain of 300 chapters: Madara gets 1-shot'd
You must be registered for see images
Expectation:
Madara fought the "God of Shinobi" and nearly won. He plotted his own resurrection, sealed all 9 Juubi, used Obito like a cheap condom, nearly killed Sasuke and Naruto (before they got ridiculous Jesus powers) and fought an entire war on his own while mostly blind. Defying death, summoning meteors and basically just being a total boss.
We expected Madara to have a big fight and to ultimately either be defeated by his own power or by the power of love and friendship.
Reality:
A long dead Godhead used Madara and set up his whole life because he has dead mommy issues. And we're supposed to care?
Riiiight. Sorry, not buying it Kishi. This is an epic arse pull just because he made Madara too OP. Madara as final villain would have been better than allowing Kaguya and freaking black zetsu to take over.
Madara was a pawn, Black Zetsu has Mommy Issues

Expectation:
Ok Madara's apparently dead. Surely Kaguya has more going on here than just being some big evil interdimensional godhead, right? Madara will make a comeback, right? Infinite Tsukuyomi clearly had some greater purpose than we can all understand? Maybe, just maybe this all made sense somehow?
Reality:
No dice. The events of the manga were conspired by black zetsu, to bring his mother back. He changed the tablet and used everyone
because he has mommy issues. I'm sorry, but what the freaking heck is that man. This is just... god awful writing.
Verdict
This may sound harsh, but I'm giving it another few chapters. Right now this manga is just a trainwreck. I can't believe that the reviewers are still defending this piss poor writing.
