Neji's death and Hinata's role

^^^ This I see nothing else in her future. She may be a really influential individual in the Hyuuga clan's future because reforming the Hyuuga was supposedly Naruto's first real objective for his Hokage dream.........................On second thought Neji's might tie into the motive for the Hyuuga reform.

I think she has a bright future haha aka she will play a role.

Also where was it stated that Naruto would do that when he becomes hokage, I don't remember. Was it when Neji died?

I truly believe Neji's death was supposed to symbolize one's ability to 'take fate into their own hands'. Neji had believed that he was destined to lose his life in order to protect the main family as his father did before him. Instead, he decided to sacrifice himself for both figuratively and literally the cause that he believed in; Uzumaki Naruto.

Neji didn't die like a fooder, he died protecting naruto and it was a big thing compare to all the other "fodder" deaths.

What do you think will be the purpose of them meeting in the dreamworld?

I'm a Neji fan and I don't like how he dies, he rarely gets any screen time and his death was absolute random so the way Kishi handled was absolute trollicious. The way it delivered was good though I will say that but the way it structured leading up to his death was very bad.

The purpose of infinite Tsukoymi is to rely hope for eternal peace in the dreamworld instead of the reality, so Hinata would probably fall over Neji which trigger her thinking it's "real"

Ya I see what you mean about the build up to his death. Kishi actually hasn't spent enough time on some of the characters imo which is a shame cause some of them are really interesting. For example, even most of the things that we have learned from the kakashi fillers was never expanded upon by kishi.

Please Protect Naruto! ". Most people like to say she's praying but it's the same thing as praying/requesting Neji to comeback and to protect Naruto.

Naruto's fight with Neji ended with the depiction of a bird flying overhead symbolizing Neji's cage of fate that he made for himself. This same depiction was shown upon his death. Even flying out of a literal cage made from the Juubi Tails. Neji and his father both died protecting their clan. Neji of course via his own volition. At that moment also was taught an important Hyuuga themed lesson and that lesson was about protecting what is important whether that be a person, a clan, or an ideal. I am not really a hyuuga fan so i don't dig too far into this stuff and I am pretty much going from memory, but of all current clans in Konoha the Hyuuga has the most spotlight so I expect to see things from them later

Well in the dreamworld, you would see your dead friend back but which was created by illusion, it's like the very reason why Obito wants to see Rin in Tsukoymi.
