also u need to take into consideration gai would have not gotten that opportunity if the gyuki wasnt there basically protecting him, most likely gai would have died trying to fight madara 1 vs 1 but he had help so its easy to land an attack when u are facing 1 opponent and u have a lot of help...

To be fair Kakashi is hardly the 'master' of ninjutsu though. I don't think they're a deadlock, more like the most awesome and balanced 3-man squad.

See, I'm not bias when I praise Itachi. I understand him. He said it himself. How good are your eye's? I paid attention. Itachi used Tsukuyomi one time and had to deactivate his sharingan. It's nuts how guy cant go 8 gates in this vs scenario but Itachi can use abilities to go blind. All I was saying is Guy is the number one candidate for beating Itachi without foreign power ups. But truth be told, Itachi's genjutsu is still active, lmao.

he did use it one time, but u do realize he wasnt trying to hurt anyone so why bother continue using it...also he later kept it active for a very long time when he fought sasuke off of sheer effort alone and i still find it unlikely he will allow gai to access the 8th gate and i highly doubt gai's base taijutsu is better than itachi's who kept up with kcm naruto who was on par with the 4th raikage...taijutsu isnt his weakness

godara's power makes him god essentially what u expected from itachi was saying he lacked the power to change the world because he wasnt powerful enough and as u can see from my comparison i made between madara and itachi that madara with his godly power is still having an extremely hard time and he is by himself...

Uh, no. Itachi's genjutsu has already been proven to be effective against Kakashi. And With Susano'o active, Guy can't attack Itachi (unless he uses the 8 Gates). Sure they may be masters respectively, but Itachi would still win this.

Yeah. Back when the clan was still around and Itachi was a 12 yr old kid w/o MS and Shisui was the only one w/ MS. That and he was only referred to as the "best Uchiha genjutsu user" by Bee who knew nothing of Itachi's abilities. Pretty sure Itachi was the best we had in the manga.

I don't think you know what i'm saying. I disagree that it's a deadlock, and Guy is pretty much the master of taijutsu and Itachi with genjutsu whilst Kakashi isn't the best in his field. Also they're not really that equal.

I'm saying them being good at each of the styles of jutsu would make them more an interesting team than versus each other.

KA is known as the most powerful genjutsu, however it is also one of the worst to use for combat. You can only use it once a decade and if you waste it, you lose your MS and techniques for ten years. What would happen if Shisui wasted it on a clone? There is a reason he thought it wasn't suitable for combat and wanted to use it for situations such as the coup. I'd rather have Tsukiyomi which allows me to use it multiple times than KA which I can only use once a decade and takes away my MS.

Shisui was Itachi's best friend. Itachi is a pretty humble shinobi and wouldn't disagree no matter what, he isn't arrogant in that way. He was happy that his friend was receiving praise. That and since Itachi was dead, no titles like that really matter to him.

its not a deadlock, itachi is clearly above them both and his weakness is not taijutsu, if he and gai fight in taijutsu base itachi will certainly win even kakashi has kept up with gai base in taijutsu, now if u are saying gated gai taijutsu is itachi's weakness then of course gated gai's taijutsu is everybody's weakness even Godara's as u can see...just because one person is visibly better than u in taijutsu(gates) doesnt mean its your weakness, all u are doing is trying to put itachi with kakashi and gai but he clearly is better than both and wouldnt even allow gai to enter the 8th gate let alone allow kakashi to use kamui, that whole feet watching method gai says he uses on the sharingan has never gotten gai the win over kakashi so why would it work on itachi...

.not only that but itachi is better than kakashi who is on par with base gai in taijutsu and the sharingan has read movements as fast as A's and killer bee's and both of them are way faster than base gai also obito easliy read base gai's movements even while his nun chucks and even caught them barehanded...itachi ha sonly one weakness and thats his terminal illness

No, I'm not. Itachi's genius, his mind is what made him the best shinobi. People mix that up with his fighting capability out of sheer love for his genius. I'm a true Itachi fan, from the moment I figured out he didn't solo the Uchiha clan I knew he wasn't as skilled as we all thought. Backed up by his own words. Gai is proving his worth right now and kakashi like I said tell me somebody more skilled in Ninjutsu (Speed of Learning, Insight, and Control) that could possibly be on the squad and I'll take him off instantly
