- the defeat of the second ten tails Jinchuuriki sucked (expected more a lot more).

- the Hokage's return (they should have done more), you got two shinobi's there who were hailed as god's of the shinobi world and they barely showed off their power, especially Hiruzen.

- the dumb speech's used in TNJ's, and to be more specific Obito's TNJ ..................... i mean Naruto said nothing that Obito didn't already know/was beyond that yet somehow that shook him .............. the agony.

- inconsistent powers/already established facts are thrown away in the next chapter.

could think of more but, i'm too lazy.

For me:

- The whole K11 lack of development and influence. They were supposed to be secondary characters, not background... They barely appeared and Neji got trolled hard. No bueno.
- Orochimaru being in a state of illness 24/7 and achieving nothing until he got revived (went from top threat to a meaningless snake).
- Tsunade not doing more as Hokage battle wise (not saying she failed at anything but she's a freaking Senju + Uzumaki + Will of Fire hybrid, she's just heals all the time and that seems to have little effect on the fodder alliance).
- Jiraiya dying :< The paths took him down so easy and out of the sannin he had to be the only one dying... Doesn't fit their concept at all.
- Hiruzen not living up to his hype and attitude (he should be blowing up sh*t instead of randomly appearing and disappearing, Madara is on the battlefield ffs).

Sorry, Neji was a mere pawn or a mere person there for Naruto's development. You fans should have known this manga doesn't revolve around Neji or others.. but around Naruto.

i know this is based on your opinion but, i disagree on Jiraiya's point.

he didn't go down easily, he took out three of the pains and Nagato knew better than to show him his reviver (would give away his plan), it shows how much Nagato respected his master's skills.

Who do you feel was the biggest disappointment from part 2.

Mine would definitely be Neji.

He went from being a genius to barelly getting screen time.

Edo Kakuzu getting Tenten'd.

Not enough back story for Suigetsu, Karin, and Juugo.

No meeting between Mangetsu and Suigetsu.

Other things, that I have to look for in the depths of my mind.

The writing...

I find the manga enjoyable because of certain aspects but from a writing standpoint? It just isn't good. It's like The Walking Dead of TV, I find it enjoyable but it's not a Breaking Bad. It's inconsistent all the time, Kishi contradicts some of the biggest themes of the series and good character development from most of the supporting characters is non-existent. It's hilarious how many people spew out the whole "PnJ" excuse all the time when it's actually an inconsistency or just flat out bad writing.

Part 2 had few high points in which I'd consider decent written but mostly it just felt very contrived.
