(Doton: Musaborudzuchi) – Earth Release: Devouring Earth

Description: The user performs the Ram → Horse → Tiger → Rabbit → Snake and slams their palm on the ground. Instantly, the ground to the sides of the opponent take the shape of huge jaws and attempt to crush and stab him between them. The size of the jaws can be adjusted to fit the size of the opponent or other uses.

One of my favorite techniques in earth. After performing the 5 hand seals and slamming your hands on the ground, the earth will begin to shake due to two very large sections of rock jaws that rise on each flank of the opponent, they rise quickly and will try to crush the opponent. Its a great jutsu to attack both flanks at once, and make it hard on the opponent, the shake of the ground might force the opponent to lose balance but not fall over. Right when you slam your hands you can move onto the next jutsu, so this jutsu has great combo abilities and is very powerful if used good enough.
Perform the technique:
I now gather my doton chakra and perform the Ram → Horse → Tiger → Rabbit → Snake and slam my hand on the ground. on doing so, the sides of the opponent takes the shape of huge jaws and crush and stab the opponent who's between them.

Creative uses/strengths:
This can be the one of most usefull jutsu for trapping an opponent or maybe giving the final blow for a paralysed opponetn who's in long range from the user. Because of the range of the jutsu, this can be regarded as the one of most versatile earth techniques to use. The another advantage of this jutsu is that the size of the jaws can be adjutsuted which makes it even more versatile.

Drawbacks/counters:
The long sequence of hand seal, makes up for one of the disadvantage. If the opponent is a sharingan user, or a Earth master he can predict the jutsu even before the user complete's it and can immediatly get away from that position or prepare for a counter attack. Lightning jutsu that can be channeled thorugh the earth like the nagashi can easily counter it.



(Doton: Tsuchi Kairo) - Earth Release: Earth Corridor

Description: The user will first perform the snake hand seal and then cause the earth in the surrounding area to rise up and over a target and create a cavern, imprisoning the target. The user can leave an opening to allow attacks to go in to strike down the trapped adversaries, or close it up completely to prevent escape.

A trapping jutsu, the user will perform one hand seal and summon a cavern to trap the opponent in. If you want you can leave a small opening to allow attacks but that means the opponent can also attack, or you can leave it completely close to trap the opponent and suffocate due to lack of oxygen if they stay in long enough. Though even though they are trapped you can still use a very powerful technique yourself to both trap leaving no open spaces and attack. Its fast to perform and raises quickly off the ground.
Perform the technique:
I now gather my doton chakra and Perform the snake hand seal. On doing so I make the earth surrounding the opponent to rise up and create a cavern and imprison the target. I leave no oppening so that the opponent cannot escape from the trap. I then use the a water jutsu to make water raise from underground inside the Cavern so that the opponent will suffocate to death.

Creative uses/strengths:
Even though this is a non-offensive supplementry technqiue, this can be made into a lethal technique with the help of the earth and water combo. Like mentioned in the performance part to make this leathal there are two part.
1. Create the Cavern to trap the opponent.
2. Use a Suiton jutsu to fill up the Cavern with water
by doing so the opponent cannot use any lightning jutsu to break the Cavern because it will electrocute them and also they will have suffocation.

Drawbacks/counters:
The range of the jutsu is one of the disadvantage.It may end leathal to the user is used upon a opponent who is in short range. The another drawback is that it doesn't have specific damage point meaning with a combo tech, It is nothing but a Trap.This can also be countered with a simple C rank lightning jutsu.



(Doton: Arijigoku no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Antlion Technique

Description: The user performs the Ram hand seal and causes causes the ground and everything on and around it to be sucked in towards the middle of a large pit, much like the method an antlion uses to catch prey. Upon being dragged to the centre, the victim will then be sucked underground. There the victim, depending on how deep the user makes them sink, will be trapped and/or suffocated. The range of the pit is determined by how much chakra is put into the technique.

Another favorite, the user will do one hand seal and create a pit close to the opponents area. The pit begins to cave in on itself. Rapidly spinning around with great speed and sucking everything in, in the area. This is a great jutsu to for an opponent to lose balance, it moves so fast he will be unable to move in the area. I also consider this technique a "Last Resort". What I mean by that is if their is ever a time you are blinded or unable to see the opponent, by using this jutsu, since it covers a long and wide range it will most likely catch the opponent in. So use it wisely. Two major notes you must keep focus on the Antlion as well as make sure you make the pit mid/long range of yourself since you will be sucked in as well if you don't.
Perform the technique:
I now concentrate my doton chakra and perform the ram hand seal, on doing a pit is created very close to the opponents area. The pit starts to spin at great speed sucking everything in the area inside it. the opponent looses his balance as he's being sucked up inside the pit. Now the opponent can be finished up with a final blow as he ll find it difficult to counter the user's jutsu.

Creative uses/strengths:
This can be an excellent technique in the battlefield. the user can make the pit mid range between the user and the oppponet when the opponent is charging at him, by this the opponent will loose his balance which will likely distract him. Now as the opponent is distracted, the user can very well finish off the opponent with the final blow.

Drawbacks/counters:
There are a Lot of Disadvantages for this technique. the pit has to be made at mid or long range or else the user will also be sucked up inside the pit. and also, a stationery opponent will find it easy to counter the technique, and quickly escape from that area.

Depending on what the user imagines, the shape of the rampart can be anything from level ground to a steep, needle-like mountain. If the user increases the volume of earth too much, he can be forced to keep his chakra consumption down. The user can combine this jutsu with Water Style: Waterfall Basin Technique to create a waterfall.

A very basic jutsu which can be used to manipulate the terrain to your will. The user after doing one hand seal will send earth chakra beneathe their feet to rise a very large rampart, it is pretty much like a large mountain which you can manipulate however you want. Its great to use to evade attacks and you can hide around the rampart and plan a snick attack. You will need to focus your chakra to make it rise so you can be left open.


(Doton: Doryuheki) - Earth Release: Earth Style Wall Jutsu

Description: The user will first perform the Tiger → Hare → Boar → Dog and then creates a solid wall of earth as a form of defense. Chakra is either converted to earth within the body and then spat out to form the wall or the user can manipulate pre-existing earth to form the wall. The earth then instantly rises up and takes form. The barrier itself is also coated with chakra, making its strength incomparable to that of a normal mud wall. Because of the earth's special characteristics, the wall is highly resistant against, for instance, fire and water. Hizuren Sarutobi spits mud from his mouth to perform the jutsu whilst Kakashi creates a wall composed of bulldog sculptures to box-in Pain.

The user will perform the required hand seals and either spit out a mud base which rises out a hard wall or you can manipulate preexisting earth to release a wall to rise of regular size (3-5 meters). This wall is very dense and can protect against basic techniques with ease. Now their is not much to say about the wall due to its basis, but be sure that when you do rise the wall remember you will not be able to see through it, so you will most likely lose vision of the opponent.

Description: This is a technique that allows its user to blend into rocks, move inside them and then move in and out of other rocks undetected. Despite this, Doujutsu and Sensors can still detect the opponent. The limitation of the technique is that it cannot be used to meld into other types of earth than rock or solid earth and its not a very fast technique, despite being faster than Underground Projection Fish technique.
Note: Can only blend through on C rank and below Earth Techniques

This though might not seem much is a great technique. The user is able to blend their being inside of rocks, both natural rocks and chakra based rocks made of C-Rank or lower. Now the opponent unless sensory type or dojutsu user will not be able to notice your position, you can easily do a snick attack with it, you can evade techniques using it. Also stake out with it, allowing you time to prepare for combos and plan attack. Great technique to give yourself sometime. If the opponent somehow figures out, be weary and anticipate that he will most likely use a raiton jutsu to kill you, since its very vulnerable.

I now gather my doton chakra and concentrate then perform the Tiger hand seal. while perfoming the hand seal, I send my doton chakra to the ground through my feet. then rises a very large rampart, somewhat like a large mountain which i manipulate to form a 10 meter long steep like structure. I now hide around the rampart and prepare for a snick attack and finish off the opponent.

Creative uses/strengths:
There are many advantages to this technique. If the opponent uses a large stream of water, the user can use this technique to create a very large mountain, that can be used to stop the flow of water as well as raise the user with it. It can used in combo with water style: waterfall basin to create a beautiful waterfall.

Drawbacks/counters:
The user has the manipulate the mountain in order to acquire what he desired, during this process the user is wide open to the opponent for him to attack. the opponent can use this opportunity so that he can make the user to fail finishing the jutsu.

This is a Basic Doton wall that can prevent the user from enemy projectile attacks and also stream attacks. this wall can stop upto A rank suiton jutsu and can stop the opponent basic projectiles with ease. The main advantage of this wall is that every time mud is not needed to be spit out, existing earth can be manipulated to create the wall.

Drawbacks/counters:
The wall is created on only one side, which means the opponent is vulnerable on every other side. the wall also blocks the site of not only the opponent but also the user. Hence the opponent can use this opportunity to snick up behind the user and take him down pretty easily.

I now concentrate my doton chakra and create a C rank rock. when the opponent charges at me and when he's at short range, I quickly throw thow smoke bombs and using this jutsu I merge myself with the rock, as the opponent is un aware of my position when he's distracted I then quickly perform a snick attack on him.

Creative uses/strengths:
This can be used as a excellent defence or supplimentry technique. The user can merge with the rocks to avoid from the enemies sight and also the user can use it as a excellent opportunity to perform a surprise attack against the opponent when he thinks that the user is gone.

Drawbacks/counters:
Cannot fool Dojutsu and sensory type ninjas as they can easily pin point the location of the user. can hide only on rocks made of C ranks or lower only. I the opponent uses a raiton jutsu to destory the rock in which the user is hiding as the rock is destroyed the user will die as well.

Another basic technique, the user will do one hand seal and condense the mud or stone under the opponents location. After the ground is condensed, basically a second after the hand seal. A spear will protrude out of the ground at a very fast pace. The spear will pierce the opponent from below and send them into the air where they will be vulnerable. After you do the hand seal you can move onto the next jutsu.


(Doton: Iwayado Kuzushi) - Earth Style: Rock Lodging Destruction

Description: The user performs the required hand seals Tiger → Rat → Snake and they then causes a cave-in by destroying the equilibrium that holds the cave together. Just removing a single vital stone throws off the balance of the cave, making it unexpectedly fragile and causing a domino effect that destroys the entire cave. The shinobi from Iwagakure use this technique in their pride tactic, luring several enemies into a cave to kill them all at once.

After doing 3 hand seals the user will channel doton chakra throughout a cave and loosen it to an extreme extent. This will make the cave extremely sensitive and will begin to cave in the moment an opponent does a disturbance in the cave. This is a great jutsu to attack more then one opponent, trying to lure them in a cave by using a distracting or placing a shadow clone in a cave and have the opponent get in close to you, then you can easily make the cave, cave-in. The opponent(s) if caught will easily be severely hurt. The cave-in is like a Domino effect starting from one end and begins to fall everywhere through the length of the cave. This is a location based technique, if their is no caves in the area, its useless. This jutsu can work even in the largest of caves.


(Doton/Katon: Yodo Ranfunka no Jutsu) - Earth/Fire Release: Molten Earth Wild Eruption Technique

Description: The user will stomp the ground to lift of chunks of rock which he will then send at the opponent. Then, by using a fire style technique, he will cause them to ignite into burning rock chunks which explode on contact with the enemy.

This is a great projectile based technique and very simple as well. The user will send chunks of rocks (2-4) towards the opponent by stomping their feet on the ground and then send a stream of fire towards the rocks engulfing them in flames. This will have impact and burn effect, which means the opponent will be pushed back from the rocks as well as burned in the area hit. Its a nice jutsu to force the opponent in having to make a quick reaction. If the opponent tries douse the flames the rocks will still be their, its a very tough move to counter on your feet, best to use lightning. The rocks acts as base for the fire. Also the fire added to the rocks are apart of the move, so no need to perform a fire technique just channel katon chakra towards the rocks. You can aim this rocks towards anywhere at the opponent, note the more you send the weaker each are.

Excellent jutsu for combo usage, after performing the hand seal one can quickly move on to the next jutsu. the spikes will launch the opponent into the air where he will be very vulnerable to the attacks as it is very difficult to dodge in mid air.

Drawbacks/counters:
The spike cannot protrude through thick surfaces, i.e any kind of armour will help the opponent to survive this attack. since the spikes comes from the ground the opponent will negate it by passing lightning through the ground.

Now, the opponetn and myself are in a cave. I now concentrate my doton chakra and perform the Tiger → Rat → Snake hand seals. since the opponent is on the rear end, after i perform the hand seal I just move a single vital stone from the cave which ultimately causes the blalnce of the entire cave to loose and the cave lodges down damaging and trapping the opponent on stone lodging.

Creative uses/strengths:
This technique is a excellent one to take out lot of enemies who are inside the cave. not mater how big the size of the cave maybe this jutsu can collapse an entire cave therby making it one of the in escapable trap. the stone lodging will not only trap the enemy but will also kill him.

Drawbacks/counters:
This jutsu is rendered useless if it is used in a area where there is no cave or this jutsu can't be used in area where cave is not available. If the user is also inside the cave, this jutsu will be a major backfire as the user will also gets trapped and crushed.

I now gather my doton chakra and stomp on the ground so that 2 big chunks of rock apprears, I then infuse these rocks with katon chakra and send them towards the opponent. as the rocks get near the opponent send a stream of fire and it will start to burn into burning rocks and burst upon impact therby severly dmaging the opponent.

Creative uses/strengths:
Excellent surprise attack jutsu and also a excellent combo jutsu. since more than one projectile is used, the opponent will find it very difficult to counter the jutsu and also since a earth and fire combo is used the effect of damage produced is comparitively high.

Drawbacks/counters:
If more rocks are used the damage and the effect is less.even though this technique is a multiple projectile technqiue the opponent can easily counter it with a normal wall or can easily break the rocks down using a lightning projectile.

(Doton/Raiton: Denki Iwabashira) - Earth/Lightning Release: Electric Rock Pillar

Description: The user will make a set of four hand seals and then will place their hand on the ground to create a pillar of earth to rise up from the ground. This pillar is then given a electrical charge that causes electric bolts to be emitted from the pillar up to short range from the pillar, shocking any targets in the vicinity.

This is a different jutsu we are used to in the doton list. The user will quickly rise pillars from the ground by placing their hands on the ground. The pillars are able to send a electrical charge of lightning bolts towards the opponent. The pillars can be created short-mid range and the lightning bolts move short range from where the pillars are made. You can make more then one pillar but that means the lightning bolts become weaker (2-4 pillars). It is great to set up a defense, but you have to focus your chakra on the pillars to send the bolts. The pillars are also sharp enough to stab the opponent and then shock them.


(Doton: Ukiwagan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Floating Ring Rock Technique

Description: The user focuses his chakra and channels into the earth to create 2 large floating rock cubes 2 meters squared. The cubes rotate around the user to either defend him from incoming attacks (he needs to direct them using hand movements towards the attack and each cube has a C-Rank strength) or, through using the momentum created by the rotation, be flung at the enemy with incredible speed.

Okay the user will summon large floating cubes (2), that are 2 meters squared from the ground to revolve around the user acting as a barrier to attacks and then the user will send the cubes towards the opponent. This is the type of jutsu that kills two birds with one stone. You can though use it for just defense or attack, mainly depending on the situation your in. An interesting technique. After performing the hand seals and placing hands on the ground the user will summon a very large 4 meter tall wall which acts as an arena that surrounds the user and opponent. Its 15 meters long, making it long range. The wall are very weak and a basic attack towards them will disperse the walls. This is great to alter the terrain in your favor depending on how the opponent and yourself is using it. Its good to stop an opponent from pushing back to evade your attacks. They are virtually going to be trapped and unable to move around freely. You get an even higher advantage if you are faster then the opponent. It can also break the opponent away from resources he/she might depend on, like a water source if they are a hardcore water user.

Description: The user will make a set of four hand seals and then will place their hand on the ground to create a pillar of earth to rise up from the ground. This pillar is then given a electrical charge that causes electric bolts to be emitted from the pillar up to short range from the pillar, shocking any targets in the vicinity.

This is a different jutsu we are used to in the doton list. The user will quickly rise pillars from the ground by placing their hands on the ground. The pillars are able to send a electrical charge of lightning bolts towards the opponent. The pillars can be created short-mid range and the lightning bolts move short range from where the pillars are made. You can make more then one pillar but that means the lightning bolts become weaker (2-4 pillars). It is great to set up a defense, but you have to focus your chakra on the pillars to send the bolts. The pillars are also sharp enough to stab the opponent and then shock them.
Perform the technique:
I now concentrate my doton chakra and perform the required four hand seals. after doing that I now slam the ground by placing my hands on the ground. On doing so I create a pillar to rise from the ground near the opponent. The raised pillar will then give of electric shocks to the opponent which will electrocute to opponent.

Creative uses/strengths:
The pillars are sharp enough to pierce the opponent and electrocute them. Even if the opponent has evaded the pillar the lightning bolt will be a surprise to the opponent as they will find it difficult to evade those bolts and gets electrocuted.

Drawbacks/counters:
The electric bolts can travel only upto short range. If lightning is channeled before the earth pillar rises then the entire jutsu will be cancelled out and wasted. The user need to conc. chakra to emit the lightning bolts..so the user is wild open when emitting those bolts being very vulnerable for attacks.



(Doton: Ukiwagan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Floating Ring Rock Technique

Description: The user focuses his chakra and channels into the earth to create 2 large floating rock cubes 2 meters squared. The cubes rotate around the user to either defend him from incoming attacks (he needs to direct them using hand movements towards the attack and each cube has a C-Rank strength) or, through using the momentum created by the rotation, be flung at the enemy with incredible speed.

Okay the user will summon large floating cubes (2), that are 2 meters squared from the ground to revolve around the user acting as a barrier to attacks and then the user will send the cubes towards the opponent. This is the type of jutsu that kills two birds with one stone. You can though use it for just defense or attack, mainly depending on the situation your in. Drawbacks/counters:
Since the user need to focus on the rocks while performing the jutsu he will not be able to perform other techniques during that time. and also when he sent's the rock cubes to attack the user a clone can easily sneak up and attack him as he is very vulnerable to the incoming attacks.

Can be used as a excellent jutsu to trap the opponent therby rendering him not able to use the resources available for him to use at outside. This can also be used to trap more than one opponent at the same time. It can be used in combo with earth style dropping lid to crush the trapped opponent.

Drawbacks/counters:
A C rank attack can easily break the wall. if used at short range the user will also be trapped inside which makes the user more vulnerable to the opponents attacks. The opponent can use the wall as a concealed environment to set up defensive measures from the latter attacks.

Another pretty simple jutsu, the user will summon 3 huge rocks that are larger the the user and send the rocks as projectiles towards the opponent. You can send the rocks however you want which makes it handy its a quick jutsu and is great to use with combos. The rocks have the force to crush the opponents bones as well as push them back. A note is though the jutsu itself is B-Rank, each rock is C-Rank power so be weary of that.

Can be used in combo with any projectile technique as the opponent will jump to avoid the attack and since the opponent cant easily dodge while in mid air he will be very vulnerable.

Drawbacks/counters:
Can be easily dodged by chanelleing a raiton jutsu by the ground. the user needs to maintain the chakra flow until the stream reaches the opponent. that means the user is wide open to the opponents attack during those times.!

Creative uses/strengths:
The speed of the projectile is pretty fast which makes it pretty difficult to dodge from it. Since it is a multiprojectile technique the opponent will find it pretty difficult to dodge the technique. No handseals are required and quiet basic and simple. So fast to perform and excellent for combo.!

Drawbacks/counters:
Even though the speed is pretty fast, the opponent can dodge the technique with a earth wall of same rank of by quickly moving from that position using a wind jutsu. Raiton projectiles will the destroy the rocks to dust therby rendering the jutsu useless.

I then make the projectiles smash into each therby making small segments of rock that attacks the opponent from different direction.

Creative uses/strengths:
The rocks sent as a projectile can be clashed among them to form numerous segments which will attack the opponent in mass therby making it difficult for the opponent to dodge the rocks. since the rocks are projected at different angles they can be manipulated in such a way that an element of surprise can be given to the opponent.

Drawbacks/counters:
Even though it is a B rank technique, the damage produced by each of the jutsu is C-Rank power which is a very big disadvantage. Since it is a projectile technique a wall of a lightning projectile can easily counter it.!

Because of its size, to safely used, the lid has to be created at least mid range from the user otherwise he will also be caught inside. The biggest lid can dwarf a boss summon like Nagato's Dog or Gamabunta.
Not only to mention about the combo of these techs since I most prominently use a nara bio, these drop always produce greater shadows above the target which easily allow me to possess them in my shadow paralysis.!

An excellent jutsu that can be used to cnage the balance of the opponent therby making him difficult to respond to the next technique.

The user summons a large amount of rock from a giant canyon which, during the process of being summoned through this technique, he shapes into a design he outlined previously in a scroll. This allows the user to change the topography of the map and create any earthen feature he needs from pillars to gorges, canyons, mountains or simply plains. If the user wants to or is defeated, the alteration ends as any summon eventually does. Additionally he can use (Doton: Dimenshon Fuudo Shihai) - Earth Release: Dimension Topography Control at any point to change the design and alter the summoned terrain.
Note: can only be used once per battle

While summoning the user will mold that canyon rock into anything they desire from it that is possible. This includes caves, mountain, large pillars, or even a huge rock plain. This can only be used once in battle. Their is many creative things you can do. You can summon a mountain behind the opponent restricting his range, this is great to get close to him. You can summon a rock on a water source blocking it, so a water expert will be without his greatest tool. Its performance is dangerous for its a little slow but the summon is as quick as a regular summon. Its a very efficient jutsu which you can alter the terrain in your favor and have complete control of the battle.


(Doton: Dimenshon Fuudo Shihai) - Earth Release: Dimension Topography Control

Description:This jutsu is used after Earth Style: Wheel of Fortune. The user will do the Boar → Monkey hand seals, slamming his hand on the ground and focusing his earth chakra. As he does this, he can change the design of the original technique. He can do this 3 times per battle.

This goes hand in hand with the technique Earth Style: Wheel of Fortune. Basically after doing two hand seals and slamming their hands on the ground they will control the change of the terrain they did to whatever is possible. So an example could be if you summoned a mountain, using this jutsu you can change it into a cave. You can switch its position as well. The control and change happens at normal speed and is very efficient to change the terrain. This controls the area at your will making it a brilliant technique and what of the very useful techs. You can only change them up 3 times in battle.

A excellent extreme defence jutsu that can be used used to easily counter any kind of technique. since the wall create will slow down any technique, it can be easily used to completly stop the technique or quickly evade from the incoming technique. The layer of protection provided by the wall is very great.

Drawbacks/counters:
Still the user will be vulnerable to the opponent from the side. When summoning the wall they block the vision of the user which is a serious disadvatage.

Can be used as a excellent technique for various purpose like offence or defence. The rock summoned is very huge in size and can be manipulate at the user's own will which makes it even more versatile to weather use it for a defensive barrier or manipulate to take down the opponent.

Drawbacks/counters:
The huge rock when summoned will block the sight of the opponent completely such that the both the user and the opponent will not be able to see each other. Since it is simply a rock even the opponent, if being careless by the user can manipulate the rock and turn it against the user who summoned it.!

Description:This jutsu is used after Earth Style: Wheel of Fortune. The user will do the Boar → Monkey hand seals, slamming his hand on the ground and focusing his earth chakra. As he does this, he can change the design of the original technique. He can do this 3 times per battle.

This goes hand in hand with the technique Earth Style: Wheel of Fortune. Basically after doing two hand seals and slamming their hands on the ground they will control the change of the terrain they did to whatever is possible. So an example could be if you summoned a mountain, using this jutsu you can change it into a cave. You can switch its position as well. The control and change happens at normal speed and is very efficient to change the terrain. This controls the area at your will making it a brilliant technique and what of the very useful techs. You can only change them up 3 times in battle.
Perform the technique:
I now concentrate my doton chakra and perform the Boar → Monkey hand seal and slam the ground, I then change the terrain to modify the mountain that created by the pervious technique to form a cave and when the opponent is inside the cave, I use the stone lodging jutsu to take out the opponent pretty easily.

Creative uses/strengths:
Can be used to drastically change the entire terrain of the battlefield that too three times per battle. This can be a very effective defensive technique that allows the user to protect from the enemies jutsu by modifing the topography of that area.

Drawbacks/counters:
Can only be used three times per battle. Doesn't have any damage points other than jutsu modifing the environment. If the opponent is not a earth surface then the jutsu is rendered useless and also if a lightning jutsu of equal rank is used, it will nullify the topography change.!

The adhesive, chakra-infused mud ensnares the enemy's body, making it almost impossible to recover one's strength and escape from the swamp. The size and depth of the created swamp depends on the user's skill and the amount of chakra used, but if the user is an expert in this technique, it will always be possible to make a fair-sized swamp which is extremely effective against a great number of enemies or when having to face gigantic creatures.

Another one of my most favorite jutsus. The user after performing two hand seals will summon a mud swamp made of the same type of mud adhesive that is very sticky as well as non-flammable. You can summon the size of the mud however you want. The mud is mixed with your chakra so it will constantly sap away the opponents strength so staying in to long can knock you unconscious. The mud can easily take on more then one enemy as well. Its a great ground attack and simple to summon taking almost no time to appear. It has no serious attack ability but if you sink into the mud you will suffocate to death, this jutsu is very combo friendly as well. Its great for distraction play as well as anticipation. Lastly if you are caught the best jutsus include water jutsus that shoot you upward for evasion or even nagashi to negate the mud so you can walk through it.

One of my favorite jutsus. After doing the hand seals the opponent will create a small wall, a normal sized one that is slightly larger then the user. The user will then punch the ground or manipulate the wall to release a large amount of mud to slide off of the wall straight towards the opponent. Its a great jutsu to use for defense as well as attack at the same time. Its sheer size can cause terrain damage and make the area into mud. The crash is powerful enough to push the opponent back and seriously break some bones. Its great to use to stop large summons as well. Its a simple jutsu to create but it takes some time for the mud to fall off. The wall raises normally. Lastly you must be on the ground.

Perform the technique:
I now concentrate a large amount of doton chakra and create a large golem composed of stone from my mouth. I then constantly feed the golem with chakra so that it grows big. I now send the golem as a fast projectile to attack the opponent. the golem with a single attack on the opponent's chest breaks the rib cage of the opponent.

Creative uses/strengths:
The shear strength of the golem is very high such that it can easily break the bones of the opponent when getting hit by it,even a single hit. The golem can also be used for defensive purpose to defend from the incoming attacks and also the golem can be used to life heavy boulders and rocks.

Drawbacks/counters:
The main disadvantage is that the user has to concentrate completly on the golem and constantly feed it with chakra in other to maintain and control it. this makes the user to restrict himself from using other techniques while usign the golem and also leaves the user very vulnerable to the opponents attack from the side or back.

An excellent technique to trap the opponent and restrict the movement of the opponent therby rendering him very difficult to dodge the incoming attack. this can also be used to restrict the movement of the summoned creatures which are very big in size like hoe jiraiya did it with orochimaru.

Drawbacks/counters:
Even thought it is a great jutsu to trap, it is only used for trapping the opponent and does not do a specific amount of damage to the user. The jutsu can also be however easily negated by using a lightning surge like chidori Nagashi.

After doing that I create a small wall of earth to rise up from the ground in front of my and cause a mud slide from the wall. I then direct this mud slide to attack the opponent. because of the shear force of the mud slide the opponent will suffer heavy damage and also the mud may make to opponent to fall off.

Creative uses/strengths:
Can be used to attack as well as trip off the balance of the opponent. The mod slide can be used in combo with a water stream technque to increase the speed of the flow and the overall damage. The crash can even push the opponent back, therby one can lead the opponent to a trap.

Drawbacks/counters:
The speed of the wall raising from the ground is normal and then making the mud side from the wall is a pretty time consuming process. not to mention since it is a straight forward attack one can easily defend from it by the used of a defensive wall or by using raiton chanelling.

For the mud, when you use nagashi the mud stays in place but it just won't sink you. You can move around it but rather slow. There are other ways. Drowning it with water and lifting yourself up. Using a summon. Ideas are endless.

A basic tech but is pretty nice. The user will quickly, with no hand seals manipulate the earth upfront on them to loosen its quality almost making it more softer. With a slam of the hands on the ground they will manipulate the ground to quickly form into a wave of tough debris and mud which creates almost a landslide which is sent towards the opponent like a wave of earth. It has the destructive property to easily cut and push down trees with ease and still continue forward. Its a very fast moving technique, hard to evade. Its also location based, its best to use in a forest. Its a loud technique so not so good for snick attacks neither.


(Doton: Kujo Joushou Iwa Chuuseki) - Earth Release: Destructive Rising Rock Pillars

Description: This jutsu causes gigantic pillars of rock to forcefully emerge from the ground. This is a even greater scaled Earth Release: Rising Spikes and is large enough to impale a summoning technique.

A simple but quite the effective jutsu indeed. The user will summon a gigantic pillar of rock to forcefully emerge from the ground around any location the user desires. Its quite the large jutsu and difficult to evade when it begins to emerge. It makes a loud noise as well as the ground will become dense signalling it rising so that can be a window of evasion. Its great to use for combos to attack in all flanks of the opponent. If the opponent is caught the will be hurt as well as launched in the air with force, mid-air they are left vulnerable and open for attacks. Its a great jutsu to use against summons and is tall enough to attack an opponent air-borne. The pillar when it begins to rises is very fast as well as while it rises you can go onto the next tech. Simple evasions as well as cracking the large pillar using lightning would be best.

The size of the affected area as well as the depths that it is lowered to is up to the user and rasing earth can be done up to 20 meters tall creating a small cliff or they can create trenches that can be as deep as 20 meters. Other than being moved below ground relative to the surrounding surface the terrain is not altered, plant life and people retaining their same positions.

Okay this is a handy jutsu indeed. The user will have complete control of the ground and will be able to raise or lower the ground by 20 meters. With it you can create walls to block attacks or evade them. You can capture enemies by lowering the ground. Also a note is in the manga when used against Madara he actually stumbled due to the sudden rise of the ground, so you can easily catch an opponent off and have a clone or ally send an attack making life difficult for the opponent. You can alter the terrain as well with it. It has no serious offensive abilities but its main purpose is the supplement yourself in battle. Also for every time you move the ground it counts as a turn so be weary. Also by the time the ground fully erects it will take several seconds. (3-5s) depending just how high you set it. 20 meters is the limit but you have control just how long you want to raise it.

Now without any hand seals I jutsu clap my hands on the ground and manipulate the ground to quickly form a wave of earth and send it to the opponent. I opponent will get washed away by the land slide and gets severly damaged.

Creative uses/strengths:
An excellent large area of affection long range and fast technique which makes the technique more versatile to be used in the battle field.Since it is a very fast moving technique the opponent will find it very hard to evade from the technique. when used in the correct location like in a forest the effect of the jutsu is very high.

Drawbacks/counters:
Can be countered with a multiple mud wall or a equivalent earth technique. since the noise produced by the land slide is very loud this technique is clearly not a good technique for snick attacks.

the spike are very strong and large in size making them more effective and difficult to evade once they are out of the ground. the size of the spikes is tall enough to attack an airbone opponent which make's the opponent more vulnerable to this jutsu as the opponent will find it difficult to evade at mid air.

Drawbacks/counters:
Before the spikes start to erupt from the ground loud noice and trembling of the earth is produced such that the opponent will be very well aware of it and can easily dodge from the spikes. even if the spikes emerge cracking them using lightning will be super effective.

Creative uses/strengths:
Can be used as a excellent jutsu in combo and also an excellent jutsu to defend from the opponents technqiues. This jutsu can also be used to make the opponent looses his balance therby making him more vulnerable to the next jutsus.It can also be used to trap the opponent by lowering the earth core.

Drawbacks/counters:
The time taken for the ground to raise is several seconds which makes it a slow jutsu. If the opponent eveded the jutsu then the user will be vulnerable to opponents attack as he will be very open. the opponent if raised up can also use it in his favour to attack the user.

It will negate the mud but just not have you sink anymore. The pillar jutsu rises only one pillar but a very large one.
By the way keep using this font, much easier to read.


(Doton: Kajugan no Jutsu): Earth Style: Added Weight Rock Technique

Description: The user will perform the Snake handseal and touch a given target (he needs to use his hands in most cases but can release the technique through his whole body if needed) for a small time frame. Upon doing so, he'll use the earth chakra to increase the weight of the target drastically. The technique can increase the targets weight up to 10 times. One interesting side effect of the technique is that when its used on wood based techniques (such as Zetsu's spore clones or normal wood), the infusion of large amounts of earth chakra into it will actually petrify the target in addition to increasing its weight. A similar effect can be achieved in other earthen materials such as mud. The user can also add weight to a given attack (if feasible) to increase both momentum and impact force, effectively adding damage to it.
Note: The weight change lasts 2 turns or until countered.

One of the very unique and famous jutsus. The user will perform one hand seal and staying in contact with the object he will insert his doton chakra into the object and manipulate it in a way that the very same object will increase in mass. This will increase the weight of the object up to ten times more then the usual weight. This can easily restrict that very object or persons movement dramatically. Moving will be almost impossible. Also a very important note is They cannot petrify water or anything other than earthen materials such as mud and Wood techniques. In all other cases, only weight is added. So energy based attacks will not added in weight. Also this can easily be used on oneself or object to increase its power and impact. So its awesome for close range but you will sacrifice your speed because of it. Unless releasing the jutsu itself then the weight will remain on the object and/or person for two turns. Its a good jutsu but has many drawbacks as well be sure to use wisely.


(Doton: Keijugan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Light Weight Rock Technique

Description: Contrary to its counterpart (the Earth Release: Added-Weight Rock Technique), instead of making the target heavier, this technique makes it much lighter, though still using the same principle and mechanics. The user will make direct contact with the given target (through his hands), infusing them with earth chakra and lowering their weight drastically. The technique can lower a targets weight up to 10 times less than it originally had. This allows freer manipulation of the affected objects, which would normally carry considerably more weight and as such, require a greater amount of exertion to move. The technique can be used on the user or other shinobi to increase their speed, but as a consequence of using it this way, it results in the decrease of the physical force of their blows. The same principle applies if used on a physical attack wich will be faster but will carry less momentum and as such, less physical damage. It doesn't change the "strength" of binding techniques (like Sand Release), where the user is manipulating a dynamic element but will decrease the impact damage of techniques that rely on it.
Note: The initial effects last for 2 turns or until countered.

The polar opposite of the previous jutsu. Instead of gaining mass this jutsu acts to lower the mass of the object or person up to ten times lighter then the usual weight. This jutsu when used in battle either lowering your own mass or a mass of an object exchanges the impact power for blazing speed. Its a great tool to use for fast attacks and pressuring the opponent. You can also increase your own speed to evade certain attacks with ease. Also a very important note is They cannot petrify water or anything other than earthen materials such as mud and Wood techniques. Its another risky jutsu, you might have speed but due to so little mass you will have less of an impact in certain jutsus as well as most taijutsus. Be very weary of that.

One of the more basic jutsus of the A-Ranks. No hand seals and very easy to perform. The user will spew out earth material and set on the ground. The material will turn into a slab of rock and then the user will manipulate it to travel with force towards the opponent. This is a hefty jutsu able to crush and push the opponent back breaking bones and seriously handicapping the opponent. Its main advantage is its raw power. It can also act as a defense blocking attacks and then continue for an attack. It can knock out anything its path and when sent with force acts as a projectile technique. Its straightforward technique and the shape manipulation will take some time.

It will negate the mud but just not have you sink anymore. The pillar jutsu rises only one pillar but a very large one.

(Doton: Kajugan no Jutsu): Earth Style: Added Weight Rock Technique

Description: The user will perform the Snake handseal and touch a given target (he needs to use his hands in most cases but can release the technique through his whole body if needed) for a small time frame. Upon doing so, he'll use the earth chakra to increase the weight of the target drastically. The technique can increase the targets weight up to 10 times. One interesting side effect of the technique is that when its used on wood based techniques (such as Zetsu's spore clones or normal wood), the infusion of large amounts of earth chakra into it will actually petrify the target in addition to increasing its weight. A similar effect can be achieved in other earthen materials such as mud. The user can also add weight to a given attack (if feasible) to increase both momentum and impact force, effectively adding damage to it.
Note: The weight change lasts 2 turns or until countered.

One of the very unique and famous jutsus. The user will perform one hand seal and staying in contact with the object he will insert his doton chakra into the object and manipulate it in a way that the very same object will increase in mass. This will increase the weight of the object up to ten times more then the usual weight. This can easily restrict that very object or persons movement dramatically. Moving will be almost impossible. Also a very important note is They cannot petrify water or anything other than earthen materials such as mud and Wood techniques. In all other cases, only weight is added. So energy based attacks will not added in weight. Also this can easily be used on oneself or object to increase its power and impact. So its awesome for close range but you will sacrifice your speed because of it. Unless releasing the jutsu itself then the weight will remain on the object and/or person for two turns. Its a good jutsu but has many drawbacks as well be sure to use wisely.
Perform the technique:
I now get in close range with the opponent. I now quickly throw a flash bomb behind me so that it only blinds the opponent and not me. As the opponent is blinded I quickly snick up behind the opponent and by maintaining the single hand seal, I place my hands on the body of the opponent and focus my doton chakra into them thereby rapidly increasing the mass upto 10 times. by doing so their movement is completely restricted and almost impossible to move therby giving the time to finish of slowely and cruelly.!

Creative uses/strengths:
This technique although doesn't have that much damage by itself, Can be a very useful offensive technique. For example since this technique is a full body chakra surge, It can be used to break from B rank Genjutsu. Can be used to increase the mass of the rocks and boulders nearby and use them for other jutsu so that the jutsu will deal 20 extra damage. Can be used in excellent combination with taijutsu and the rock aromor. Using in combo with these technique will drastically increase the damage produced by these tech and taijutsu. It may also lead to the fatality of the opponent.

Drawbacks/counters:
This technique can be easily countered by a full body lightning chakra surge like the Chidori Nagashi. the raiton will negate the doton. And aslo while using this technique on one's own body they must be very carefull as this this technique will very drastically increase the weight of the user which inturn will drastically decrease the speed of the user.



(Doton: Keijugan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Light Weight Rock Technique

Description: Contrary to its counterpart (the Earth Release: Added-Weight Rock Technique), instead of making the target heavier, this technique makes it much lighter, though still using the same principle and mechanics. The user will make direct contact with the given target (through his hands), infusing them with earth chakra and lowering their weight drastically. The technique can lower a targets weight up to 10 times less than it originally had. This allows freer manipulation of the affected objects, which would normally carry considerably more weight and as such, require a greater amount of exertion to move. The technique can be used on the user or other shinobi to increase their speed, but as a consequence of using it this way, it results in the decrease of the physical force of their blows. The same principle applies if used on a physical attack wich will be faster but will carry less momentum and as such, less physical damage. It doesn't change the "strength" of binding techniques (like Sand Release), where the user is manipulating a dynamic element but will decrease the impact damage of techniques that rely on it.
Note: The initial effects last for 2 turns or until countered.

The polar opposite of the previous jutsu. Instead of gaining mass this jutsu acts to lower the mass of the object or person up to ten times lighter then the usual weight. This jutsu when used in battle either lowering your own mass or a mass of an object exchanges the impact power for blazing speed. Its a great tool to use for fast attacks and pressuring the opponent. You can also increase your own speed to evade certain attacks with ease. Also a very important note is They cannot petrify water or anything other than earthen materials such as mud and Wood techniques. Its another risky jutsu, you might have speed but due to so little mass you will have less of an impact in certain jutsus as well as most taijutsus. Be very weary of that.
Perform the technique:
I now concentrate my doton chakra and by performing the single hand seal I concentrate it thorught out my body. On doing so the mass of my body is reduced 10 times and my speed is increased rapidly however the damage produced by physical attacks and others are greatly reduced.Now as the speed is increased I find is very easy to evalde with ease from the opponents high speed projectiles and quickly snick up behind them and finish them.

Creative uses/strengths:
This can be used as a excellent technique to dispell from any B ranj genjutsu since it is a full body chakra surge. it more usefull is dispelling a genjutsu more than the previous technique and this technique will increase you speed and decrease your weight which is more safe and tangible when compared with the previous technique. Since this technique profusely decreases the body weight, the speed is rapidly increased which allows the user to easily dodge the opponents attack and also, evade with ease from the opponents fast projectiles.!

Drawbacks/counters:
The weight of the opponent is drastically decreased which means the power of the physical attack is also decreased. the taijutsu move and other direct physical attacks moves will be almost ineffective against the opponent since the power is drastically reduced. the damage produced will decrease rapidly.


( Doton: Iwarin Heiban ) - Earth Release: Rock Scale Slab

Description: The user will knead their earth chakra into their stomach and then release from their mouth earthly material that then forms into a large slab of rock, that can travel with incredible force. On impact with the ground the slab forces the earth to splinter and jab anyone caught in the vicinity.

One of the more basic jutsus of the A-Ranks. No hand seals and very easy to perform. The user will spew out earth material and set on the ground. The material will turn into a slab of rock and then the user will manipulate it to travel with force towards the opponent. I then shape manipulate it to form a slab of rock and then manipulate it to travel with force towards the opponent with shear force destroying anything in the path. It then hits the enemy and breaks most of the opponents bones and severly handicaps the opponent!

Creative uses/strengths:
Since the a solid earth slab is produced and then it is sent to attack the opponent it can be used as both offensive as well as defensive jutsu. the slab with go through blocking the user from incoming attacks untilt it is destroyed and hit the opponent with sheer force.

Drawbacks/counters:
The slab while travelling may block the sight of the user. The slab can be easily destroyed by a B rank Lightning projectile and rendering the entire jutsu useless. The shape manipulation of the slab will take some time leaving the user vulenreable to the opponents attack during that time.
