To go off of my title, this is a suggestion that most people who rp will not like nor agree with. But in my opinion it can only help progress the roleplay. As most people from the newer generations of roleplayers know/understand. It is an intense struggle or trial to get training now a days. Senseis are to busy to train you. Senseis have exceeded the number of people they can train. Which usually is relatively low. Senseis have gone inactive yet remain orange. Senseis have been stripped of there color which is incredibly irrational. Most of the times the striped senseis were the ones doing all of the training until something went or goes wrong. The main reasons today no one is being trained as fast as they like or not at all are.
-Too busy
-Too lazy
-Too inactive
-Don't want to
-Don't have to
-Or are no longer able to teach

A simple solution to all of this is the "golden" sempai system. Sempais.... The senseis handpicked new rper who will train under the juristiction of the "master". A sempai's main goal is obviously to become a sensei so they can keep the cycle going. I remember when i first joined and started looking at the sensei application many who were able were declined because they weren't sempai long enough or weren't sempai at all. Why is this.....Simple becaue senseis are
-Too busy
-Too lazy
-Too inactie
-Don't want to
-Don't have to
-Or are no longer able to teach

Onto the suggestion itself. Take a look at the sensei table, which was recently updated by scorps. Take note of how many senseis there are. 25 excluding mods who weren't removed yet. Now how many of them actively teach. 18 in my own opinion. Now i know narutobase is not most senseis main focus, people have university and other things. But the problem still remains, only 72% of our 25 senseis teach. Now another question, how many senseis have a sempai? 14. 60% of our 25 sensei have sempai. Why is that? Sempais in my opinion only help further the development of the rp. Sensei don't become senseis without being a sempai first. Except those special cases.

-Now comments from the peanut gallery
"who is he to quesiton our prielages?"
"He only joined last april"
"How does he know who i've trained?"
"I've been training since before he joined"
"Screw his suggestion, it's one of the perks of being a sensei. Brown nose no jutsu"
"It was super effective"
-Now that the peanut gallery is finished my suggestion
Simply change the option of haing a sempai into a requirement. It can only help the rp. Leave your thughts elow and please vote in the thread, i really want this to be added.

This is the first time you actually made something that make sense geico :|

I totally agree with this, and i think something should be checked up upon, they are some "sensei" that i have never seen train people, except their "friends" or people in the same village as they are in :sy: that is complete BS imo! I would call some names, but i don't want to get infracted for another Unnecessary reason :|

Whilst I don't RP here, it's definitely a good suggestion.
Training is fundamental for establishing a good bio, and without it, many are deprived from being able to RP as they would like to. It's one of the reasons I haven't decided to RP on this forum, because I know it will be a complete pain to find a sensei and be trained or approved.

well you are totally correct by not chosing to rp. It is incredibly hard to ind training in what you need. And then when you do all it is, is arguing. SO your'e setting yourself up for failure really. But it does have it's good parts. WHich i have found very little of but am addicted to it.

only if "viable" statements are posted...

People can become senseis without being a senpai, that's for sure. Also, I haven't added some of the new senpais onto the table yet.

I'm alright with your idea, however, you must know that this is all about personal opinion. Some Senseis don't want Senpais - but if they can't handle all the training themselves, or don't teach for any of the reasons you stated above, then it is indeed recommended that they get one.

Sempai's train more than their actual sensei(s). Atleast a majority of it, and yeah, a sempai being a requirment for a sensei sounds good, atleast they would have a good reason to keep the orange if they don't train. Not bashing any sensei here, just speaking my mind.

i realize that, i thought i stated special cases like lok and others i believe. This suggestion is based off of my personal opinion. But my opinion is really what people who have gone through what i have to get training think... I am far from complaining don't get me wrong. I just don't want someone to have to wait a year like me to still not finish there things while others, again not complaining finish in 2 months. They know who they are. I am not bringing up bad blood. Just for comparison.

I don't agree nor disagree with this. We shouldn't have to take a sempai if we don't want to. I could not have one and still train just as well. It's a choice, not something that needs to be forced even if its a nice solution.

Firstly, I don't think we can force anyone to train us. Even they have RL so it depends on them as well, if they are ok with taking more students.
True, we do have a problem getting someone to train us and I know its troublesome. Making all the Senseis take a Sempai would help more students but in the end the student teacher ratio would still remain a bother. So you need something more than that to improve the system.

And just because people want fast training doesn't mean it's good training.

I think the main problem is activity. So what I mean is sensei should be chosen on a certain criteria.

-Skills
-Ability to teach
-Patience
-ACTIVITY hours

So this way, we can know beforehand how long that person is gonna be on and when. This can also prevent giving senseis a hard time as training does drain time from their rl. So all in all, a sensei's schedule should be confirmed as to their online time so that way, they won't be bothered about inactivity.
