You got to understand that some sempai's haven't been added to the list because they may or may not be a frequent change. I'm a sempai myself and I haven't been added to the list for months, until Kiritsugu got his mod spot and revamped the whole sensei table. What's bothering me more is people re-gaining their names because of their previous "successes" or "accomplishments" without having to pass the sensei test again. I got humiliated on my sensei test, scoring a 2/20 because of the completely insane and rigorous standards that Vincent has set when he became head sensei. The reasoning was that my answers weren't complete even though I didn't stop writing for the whole duration of the 90 minutes, writing, in my opinion, more than enough about every question. Yeah, my battle situations weren't the best, I admit, but if got the scores together, I was sure I'd pass. I'd like to see all the current (older) senseis have to redo the test, under the same standards because I'm sure that over 50% wouldn't be able to pass. Also, why does one get his orange back with the senseis application thread not even being checked, for months. Is there some kind of a secret application thread, so I can apply there too?

I think that there should be an official NB RP school where students and sensei can gather together without things getting out of hand or too unorganized.

This has long been an issue, but remember that senseis are doing us a favor. They take time off their real life to train us, so to be honest, I don't think any of us should really complain.
On the other hand, if one does not have the motivation nor enjoyment to be a sensei anymore, they should simply ask to be removed. Everyone knows that second reason to be a sensei. I won't state it out loud.
And just because people want fast training doesn't mean it's good training.
If I asked people if they could master techniques automatically, more than 90% would say yes.

In all fairness, the written test wasn't that hard. It might have been somewhat bothersome at points but it wasn't nerve wrecking to say the least. I'd say that the reason those people may or may not have been regiven Sensei ship (I assume you mean Nero and Zanji as they are the only two that comes to mind ATM) is due to the need for teachers. They have already demonstrated the knowledge of the rp, enough to become a sensei for an extended time. They passed the written test that Nexus had in place, which I deemed harder than the current one; I failed the previous test by a few points. The rp has not changed in such a way that it would impossible for old senseis to understand everything going on without reading a few threads, mainly the roleplay updates thread.
But that's just my interpretation of the situation. No hard feelings to anyone.

You do remember the questions? Who is Gaara, who is Danzo and what's his role? What are the jinchuriki and what are their abilities? What does that have to do with the RP? I got my first two right, which were actually RP related. They asked what are the battle rules and how does the sensei/sempai system work. I mean, who knows by heart what the abilities of all nine jinchuriki are? We haven't really seen them even in the anime, just the cutscenes when the Akatsuki captured them. And since you brought up that "demonstrating knowledge", I'm pretty sure there's a whole bunch of people that fit that criteria, including myself, and yet I'm still not a sensei.

Mate, you're contradicting yourself. You said you feel around 50% of the older senseis would pass the test as it is now, yet you show how relatively easy the test are. Granted, the 9 jinchu question was tough but some others weren't too difficult, like explaining the sensei/sempai system. I think they asked the questions to see if one knows about the Narutoverse in general, in case a potential student asks a question relating to them I suppose. Regarding the "demonstrated knowledge", I suppose that is correct; there are several people who possess knowledge of the rp and it's inner workings. I can't speak on that part or I'd rather not speak on it lol

Good Lord, might I say that I failed Nexus' test three times.

On the other hand, erm, LoK and McRazor, a bit off topic...

1 tails sand/racoon
2 tails fire/cat
3 tails water/turtle
4 tails lava/ monkey
5 tails steam/ horse
6 tails bubbles/ slug
7 tails shiny bug things/ dragonfly- beetle thing (I actually had to look this one up
8 tails ink/lightning ox-bull thing
9 tails fire/fox

I only had to look one of those up

Off topic I know lol.

Anyway like i said before all of my basics were done by sempais and I honestly dont quite see a reason why a sensei wouldnt want a sempai in the first place. Not only does it ease the workload but its helping more people out which is what being a sensei is in the first place right? Yeah theres the minor responsibility of checking up on them every now and then but honestly with as much people that could be helped by gaining a sempai why not?

Or We could just get more Shishou's. Having Shishou's of elements would be cool. Because there is a lot of people who would come on and train people every day, and would be happy to do so.

Well the thing here is look at how many old gen still stick around the one person I see all the time is rag and possibly hells yet if those two rp legends don't think or want or even feel the rp here is worth saving and progressing then it's probly gonna die in the next year or so.

Not saying the rp is a waste or anything but there are an extreme amount of restrictions now a days especially for getting customs and certain bios

Last off topic reply. I said the checking standards where rigorous, not the questions. Mate, please concentrate on what you read. Anyway, back to the topic, I believe that it's a personal preference and that every sensei can chose whether or not he wants a sempai because it's additional concern because you vouch for him, that he understands the techniques himself and if anything goes wrong the sensei would be responsible for choosing an incompetent sempai.

I agree and disagree at the same time, so ill split them up

Agree: I agree with this point because yes it would be a good idea, lately a few new senpais instantly put on the profile"im not accepting a senpai" and the simple question i ask is why? why not have a senpai? I know some sensei claim they "check" their senpais training but i honestly think thats a load of bs and just a scare tactic. But even then that doesnt answer the "Why?" question as to why sensei dont take senpai, i myself dont know so making them take a senpai is a good idea for this fact, unless and sensei without a senpai and doesnt want a senpai cant post on here a valid reason beside"i dont want one" then my agreement may change, but at this point i completely agree making sensei take on senpai isnt that unreasonable.

Disagree: Now this is the part where i disagree with your statement, what you're saying is exactly the same as, say custom jutsu's and elements, the position of a senpai, a cust jutsu or element belongs to the owner, who in this case is the sensei. They own the right to that position of senpai and you cant just "Force" someone to take or do something they dont want to without a valid reason. Itd be the same as making them teach their jutsu's and elements, it belongs to them and no one can force them.

Now to add to another point, a suggestion id like to add. Sensei that only teach in their village like Shuusai(yeah im not worried about naming names). A sensei that got his orange back/came back from inactivity, and then only trained people in sunagakure. I suggest making it so that each sensei has to have at least 1 other person from another village or no village at all, teaching only in your village sounds almost, to me that is against some sort of unwritten rule. Sounds to me like its just favouring your village to get stronger, which to me sounds exactly like holding a tournament every week so you're village members get permissions faster to improve their village power.

Now onto my second thing which, unfortunatly involves Zanji(no offence to the guy at all). I read earlier that Zanji was given his orange back due to him coming back, but can someone show me where he has accually training anybody? i mean he is never accepting students and ive never seen his name show up in training grounds since i knew of his exsistance. So my second suggestion is that if a sensei doesnt show some form of training each month then their orange should be stripped, because in all honesty if you have orange and arnt training your wasting space and time by having that color on your name, almost like its a status symbol you dont want to work for.

And to finish my rant, i agree with McRazor, im sure Nero and Zanji where some very good sensei back in their day, but just because they come back they shouldnt be given orange back instantly, especially if the sensei test has been changed. If the test was the same then fair enough give them orange back, but many things have changed since their day and even if they can "adapt" from their previous skills they dropped their senseiship, and it shouldnt be a case of "yeah ok ill train gimme back orange" if its dropped it should remained dropped until they complete the sensei test again.

Well thats my opinion on the matter i hope i didnt go to far off topic hahaLol

I agree with delta on that last part. 95% of the time when an old sensei comes back they do NOT train at all. The ONE exception to this is kiritsigu

Trying to added my personal opinion.

I've join in NB about 3 Years ago and my first sensei was Tenzo and now known as Kirit, the best sensei who I have ever been trained.
He has this great influences in NB of teaching system, 50 tab he open to updated his students, can you imagine that... that's really inspiring. Most of the sensei currently was his students like his first senpai Gobi, he have become a great sensei, my self, have been twice become a senpai xd, Lord of Kaos, Akisha and many others sensei and fine Rpers in NB. He also has thousand mind and ideas to change the Rp system. Then he went inactive due to disappointed with the system itself. a year later he is back (Correct me if I'm wrong Tenzo :p) active again and become a mod, making a break through in the system itself which I think making the Rp become more valuable and exciting even though it's not perfect but from what I've seen he make a significant progress in Rp.

Anyhow... my point is, if you see the progress in NB (if you long enough join in NB), especially Rp. There are significant progress from certain people who have been made like Kirit, Scorps, and Crow, I'm not trying to suck the mods but I've knew them since they are not an Orange one, since they are only a usual member in NB, been close with them and know their great personality and they has unique thought, unique skills which could make the Rp become more exciting.

So if you want to change the system, be like them, follow their previous path, try to embrace their journey and sacrifice to become what they are today then I'm sure you can change the system. Just do our best in RP. The key point is PATIENCE... it will make you better and stronger.

Cheers. Oasis Nara.

Rigorous? How can you grade something that is easy hard? Its like saying you're grading a kindergarteners coloring skills on its form of medium, texture, and color patterns and other shit. Lol, that makes no sense dude.

@Oasis: I've actually never trained under kiri lol.
