[Theory] The Reason Why Madara Survived The Battle With Hashirama (Solved)

I like the theory but something make me doubt:Hashirama is 100% sure of having killed Madara the great genjutsu user.Hashirama is sure he wasn't in a genjutsu when he saw his friend dead.He could be doubting , but no , he is sure Madara was revived later.

Like Obito , Madara could have been in the other world , and brought back to this world by some help (like obito) or some mental strength(like jiraiya).

Great theory man, well presented as well! No doubt in my mind now that Madara cast a genjutsu.
Also I dunno if someone's mentioned it yet but notice how before we see his EMS he's wearing body armour and after the moon is shown he is just in normal robes. I think this is also evidence that he cast a genjutsu

I'll go with Finite Tsukoyomi.... I also believe that The Uchihas Power is at peak during a full moon and it is mentioned in the Uchiha Tablet.... So Madara chose a night of full moon to fight Hashirama.... The Jubbi is required to cast infinite Tsukoyomi and it was still inside the moon during the fight.... So Madara with his eyes could cast finite Tsukoyomi on Hashi and made Hashi miss his heart....

Everyone's been saying the Moon had to do something with it, look at Narutoforums, there's a lot of theories concerning this since it's obvious that Kishi had been highlighting the moon in the panels.

Zetsu is not a clone though, it makes its own chakra...something no clone can do, he doesn't go poof when damaged or runs out of chakra. He is a separate entity, living being and as far as I know no one can create life in naruto world. So I assume madara can only do so because of his situation with the sage's eyes and mazou attachment.

Incorrect. Look at Hashirama's Clone used on Madara. It never went "POOF" and dissappear after being used... it stayed there AFTER Hashirama appeared and stabbed him. There are regular clones and there are some that dont just die and dissappear.

The whole point of the fight is to obtain Hashirama's cells, it was all a ruse.

okay look you see the sword in madaras back. Then after the genjutsu is broken the sword isn't in madara's back anymore. Someone said this might be a mistake but I think it could be related to your theory

It's a genjutsu, why is it that before Hashirama looked upward and had that twinkle/sparkle, the sword was lounged in Madara's body but after he fell, the sword was glaringly missing from Madara's chest.

Wouldn't he get his DNA easier that way and he could've instantly attacked the village in the upcoming weeks:

No Hokage = Broken system = A weakened village

I don't think he really wants to take revenge on the village, he just wants Hashirama's cells to awaken the Rinnegan by combining it with his body. As for killing Hashirama, I don't think he can, or at least he didn't want to, it's just paralleling Naruto vs Sasuke in VotE in Part 1: Sasuke could've killed Naruto but he didn't, same with Obito when he didn't kill Kakashi back then.
