Minato's full potential was already shown

To those saying that "we haven't seen what Minato is fully capable of", you guys need to stop worshiping this complete bust of a character.

Minato tried his ABSOLUTE hardest on the day he died.

Dying while trying his hardest means he was using his full potential.

It doesn't matter if he had a wide variety of Fuinjutsu. The strongest Fuinjutsu he has is Shiki Fujin, which means all of his other Fuinjutsu are weaker than Shiki Fujin. If he had a stronger one, he would have used it.

If he had a stronger jutsu than Rasengan, then he would have used it to kill Obito. So he obviously doesn't.

EDIT: Kushina restrained Kuramas movements, allowing Minato to seal without worry. Even with her help, he only managed to seal half.

Conclusion: Minato is a bust. There is no such thing as the "full potential" that his supporters speak of.

and please for the love of god, do not say that Minato has Hiraishin level 9000.

Yes I don't have any canon proof, but this is all based on common sense.

Yeah I see what you mean because logically if you had a village you wanted to protect and a son, etc then why wouldn't you use your full potential? But I still like to think of Minato being capable of more though

Fighting Obito was a special case because of his intangibility. Normal fighting wouldn't work on him, which is why their battle wasn't very long and the only technique used was a perfectly timed rasengan. We have yet to see his full potential going against an opponent who could be fought head on.

Don't judge his entire character based on that one night

Ya know, characters are kind of allowed to exaggerated. For some reason people seem to take their words as fact. How many people have been called the 'god of shinobi' now? How many people were 'unbeatable'? That doesn't mean their characters are busts, just because a different character claims something about them that isn't true.

Too much stock placed in the ramblings of characters in this series.

i don't think he showed his full potential.
look at the circumstances of that incident (the day of the attack), the odds were all against him, from obito's surprise attack to worrying about his wife and child and trying to protect the village from the FULL kyuubi. still he managed to kick obito's ass and save the village. all am saying is, in better circumstances he can offer more ..... that's just my opinion.
