I am sorry but there are a lot of crazy people on this thread. I am not to try to bash anyone here but there are a lot of stupid comments on here. Minato was the Hokage and was not down in the Tsunade bar. Minato was either praised or feared by everyone who knew of him. You don't get that kind of respect without knowing some things. I think that we have yet to see what Minato is truly capable of.

Plus you have to think about it. Why would he have to show eveyrhing he had in his arsenal jus because he was fighting Kurama. By him being the Hokage he had to use his most strategic and effective jutsus that he knew without wasting chakra or harming others by not thinking through what he was going to do in a fraction of a second fighting against Obito and Kurama.

Name me someone besides Madara or Hashirama that could have stopped Kurama and Obito all while saving the village, holding down Kurama, and sealing him twice all in one night even after their child was just born.

True - Exactly what I was trying to convey. I think Minato haters lost all their sense of logic that they fail to see the most obvious.

His full potential not only beat Tobi, but redirect the TBB, transport the tailed beast, seal half of the nine tables in himself using another high chakras technique that causes death, still move afterwards and seal has and his wife's chakra in Naruto. I'm not calling him Madara or Hashi, but the guy was on another level.

i defended minato and i can understand the people who say "well he is the HOKAGE, the great yellow flash and all ....." also kishi portrayed him as one of the best ever lived (away from feats). now i said in better circumstances he could have done better (not worrying about his wife, child and the village) but to the hard core minato fans, you need to provide any valid proof of him taking on kurama other than the way he already did (DGJ) ..... being able to seal the FULL raging kurama is not a simple thing and you can't expect people to go "oh well .... he is minato, he can do it" .... proof ?? he is one of the strongest ever, but does he have that ABILITY ??

You judging techniques that haven't had screen time and on top of that, sealing techniques which derived from the uzumaki clan (masters at sealing techniques); thought to minato by kushina and you speculate that they are useless? Its no surprise really, you have already stated vaguely, that Bee could've archive minato's feats. Shows that your just one of the regular fanboys.

We do not know.

But that doesn't give to the right to speculate Shiki Fujin was his strongest.

Then again, FTG is a fuin-jutsu based technique. So, just so you know, Hiraishin and contract seal are much better combat oriented seals than Shiki Fujin. (contract seal because it could rob a summoner from his summoning abilities)
