I like how the chapter subtly gave the reader the explanation to the idea of why the ninja villages were formed, all while shocking us with the extra sibling info and Madara's hilarious reactions to Hashi.
It's sad though, how even 7y/o children were used as weapons of war in the name of Shinobi, were many died. And as a former soldier myself I've seen the devastation on how War messes up the psyche of children, specially child-soldiers (its really happens, specially in African nations where there's rampant corruption and govt is practically ineffective in its authority).
I now wonder if the So6P had ever meant Shinobi to be a means for fighting, and if so, what for that matter, if not each other??? Because that's all I see how ninjas are used; a means to kill, and usually each other.
Hopefully, these flashback will continue to be sublimely epic in its story and character development. I'm looking forward for next week where it might tells us what it means to be a Shinobi, at least from Hashi's point of view.
