Great chapter! This time it definately felt longer (although in the end we always want more : P) and I was happy to see some development with Hashi, how bad those times actually were and Madara was a nice surprise..his personality is a lot different from what I was expecting of him tbh...

Oh my...What people don't seem to realize is that Madara's and Sasuke's personality is quite the same. Go look at sasuke's child personality in his flashbacks, and look at Madara's. Both have that "bit**y" attitude, yet they show compassion at the same time. It's just that madara probably had no brothers at the time for comfort, which is where hashirama came in. Whereas Sasuke had all of this, until his clan was wiped where he became bitter even at a young age. Could this be kinda linked to how Madara became evil? maybe his parents or all siblings were killed except for Izuna?

Don't get it twisted as much as I disliked the emo Sasuke phase. I must say that he was closer to war than any of his classmates. HD not only lost a brother. He lost his whole family. Mom, dad, brother, cousins everyone. He was the epitome of alone. And as he stated, he suffered more than Naruto because he knew what it felt like to lose everything

This chapter may be a bit boring, but it's far from pointless. We're finally get a look into Madara's motivation for Infinite Tsukuyomi, and at the same time, Kishi has to explain why Hashirama and Madara went from being good friends to powerful enemies. This chapter is a good beginning; Madara was living in a war, lost 4 brothers... yet he still believes in becoming allies with enemies.
If Kishi rushes this, or screws up the character development, then Madara will end up being another butthurt villain, who isn't justified for what he's doing. And that would **** up the story.

Definitely 5/5 for me. Just had a fighting chapter last week so I could care less about getting new feats and what not but there were several themes here that add strength over the usual flashbacks. The sad thing is that I felt worse at Itame's death than Neji's >_>

Chapter is great. Last page really moved me. It's great to see Hashi and Madara share the same vision. Surely they were best of friends and I bet the relationship will break by Senju clan killings Madara's brother/s without both of Hashi and Madara knowing they were fighting each other. Take a guess ??
Yeah at this point he probably had the same views as Itachi. Until something changed his mind which should be explored into...
LOL, Sasuke probably lost more than anyone else. He lost his clan as a starter, cousions, friends, parents everyone. He killed his brother only to find out that all his life was a lie, and that Itachi loved him more than anyone else which is why he didn't kill him, this by-far is the most traumatic storyline in Naruto.
But Hashirama lost 1 brother and madara lost 4. You could say Hashirama is acting as if he is having the worst life.
At the start of the chapter we know Hashirama was one step ahead of Madara. But at the end, it seems like Madara has surpassed or caught upto Hashirama.

I kinda like these flashbacks that show us stages of one important peoples past.. but this was a bit boring tbf.. but then, most flashbacks are.. it's a bit mixed, glad we saw their past a bit, but wish it was a bit more entertaining lol. (and no i dont mean just fights n fights - confusing right)
I give this chapter 3/6 because it was just an flashback chapter which didnt really progress the story or revealed something which wasnt told to us until now nad this brings up the question that will the upcoming chapter be flashbacks as well.Ok this is what i learned from this week's chapter:
1.Madara and Hashirama both had siblings who had which had died in the war.
2.Both of them wanted to find a way to end the cycle of hatred and war.
3.Even though they had different personalities they had made a bond with each other.
4.Madara wasnt evil from his early childhood.
5.Both of them agreed that the only way to end the endless deaths and the cycle of hatred was to form an alliance.
Ok this is what i think happened with them in the future. Hashirama finds out that Madara is from the clan that killed his brother,and Madara somehow finds out the Hashirama is from the senju clan that took the lives of many uchiha(maybe including izuna). And they both end up becoming enemies or maybe this will be only be madara's aggression. In a attempt to surpass each other and the opposing clan,both Madara and Hashirama grow extremely powerful with Hashirama learning SM and Madara awakening the EMS(just like naruto and sasuke) and also become the leaders of their clan.Then Hashirama made the smart move and made an allliance with Madara while Madara(consumed by evil) had developed a hatred for hashirama and the senju clan,and could not digest that hashirama was elected as the first hokage instead of him.Madara decides to destroy konoha.This can be proven in the manga chapter 621,when hasirama says to Madara that,"...do you want to destroy all we have done so far?....all or efforts.Our fight will bring nothing....it will just hurt the village and the shinobi.It's is an insult to our brothers and comrades."
The other thing that could have happened was that they made a plan to form an alliance in their childhood,when they became the leaders of their clan.But as they grew up and became powerful,Madara's brother died and he became evil.After forming and an alliance and setting the leaf village,and making the ninja world a bit more stable.Madara's still held an grudge against the senju and could not accept hashirama as the first hokage,in fear that they would oppress the uchiha and due to his evilness.And the rest is already
