Orochimaru also is hearing everything. I hope he express truthfully what he thought of all the past that he is listening to the first hokage. He, more than Sasuke, is one of the characters that always change the course of history abruptly. Sasuke finally seems to have learned that he needs to listen to others. It's a start! (And I thought he was a character lost!)

I hope Madara also has the opportunity to show their thoughts. Seeing him with a haughty look over all, as if the world will only make sense when destroyed with the eternal illusion, just shows us how much he still has to be known. No matter just what happened with him. Interested also what he thinks and why.

I think it's safe to say that what Naruto went through is nothing compared to what Hashi and Madara went through. No wonder they're on a completely different level. At this point I'd like to see Madara btch slap everyone in the battlefield (including Obito) and give them a true lecture on true hatred and what being desperate really means. Nggs were solid as fk back then.

I loved this chapter, 5/5. I'm a little annoyed at how some people are saying this is a boring chapter just because there isn't that much action. Some chapters don't need action in my opinion and this one is a perfect example of such a chapter. Scenes with intense fighting would've made this chapter less (searching for a good word here) philosophical.

This one chapter showed the cruelty of war better than the Fourth Shinobi War did at all. I liked the chapter very much. flashbacks aren't bad as long as they tell something new. If you got pages full of flashbacks from moments already seen, then yea.. the chapter sucks. I'm curious to see how Madara and Hashirama's lives develop further. Can't wait for next week

It was quite surprising to see madara had four brothers, I'm guessing Izuna was his immediate younger brother, while the others were much older, he didn't seem like he was as involved in the war as much as hashirama was, we're probably not going to hear anything about his background since it's hashi telling the story, One of the best chapters I've seen, it'll be very hard if not impossible to top this, looking forward to next week's......

i gave 3/5 as there wasnt anything ground breaking but it is still the early stages of the flashback i liked the character development between madara and hashi but overall loved the chapter

great chapter, one of the best. we gained a lot of insight into the world hashirama and madara grew up in, hell no wonder they're the strongest, their world was one where only the strongest reach adulthood. full-fledged shinobi by the age of seven... and tobirama and itama were even younger than that. i love that madara was also dissatisfied with the situation like hashirama, and that tobirama came up with the village system.

well this chapter was gud....but i fear that there are more flashbacks in the next few weeks... the way kishi is disclosing things is just perfect.. well it was intresting to know hashi had another younger bro.Itame.. and madara had 4 bros.. (thats too much). seems like izuna was a better shinobi after all he survived the battles..
its intresting to know that tobirama came up wid the idea of alliance... seems like he was kind of a diplomat from the very beginning... and the way madara behaved in the last few pages in the manga made me think at a point that he knew that hashi was a senju and his behaviour was a little more mature....
well i rate this chapter 4/5..
it was a gud "non-battle" chapter. though i dont like watching flashbacks but these are jst making me crazy..

It was a decent chapter I hope we have at the most one more flashback chapter also funny to see Madara act like that but it does give the fact that he lost 4 brothers sort of a reason doesn't it? Sasuke lost one and thinks he's had the worst life going.
