I'd be highly disappointed if even two people say Crocodile. All the desert in the world means nothing when his opponent is faster, and can just strike his jugular faster than he can attack or defend.
Personally, I find it unfair to make two characters, one before and one after the TS, fight because the power levelling is so different. I mean I find it hard to believe that someone as cunning as Crocodile would try and take WB's head if he didn't think he had a chance, however small. But the fact that he lost to Pre-gears Luffy, even if it was after winning twice, doesn't add quite add up. Oda's messed that part up. WB could beat Ace while sleeping and we have Crocodile losing to Gear 1 Luffy. And then Crocodile calls WB pathetic at MF despite him being far from it. Makes a lot of sense.
Also if u think Zoro can 1 shot croc when no one could do tht at mainford as well as him tanking jozu attack who is physically stronger then anything Zoro has shown ....

zoro can 1 shot croc if he wanted. obviously jozu didnt pull out his strongest move against croc. you can tell since he was easily stopped by doffy during that time. but if jozu did then rip croc.

Zoro is immensely faster than Crocodile. If Zoro rushed at Crocodile, it'd be like what happened at MF with Jozu, Crocodile would be unable to counter and take the hit directly. The difference is that while Crocodile can stand back up and survive the punch or a slash to his chest, if the slash is done to his neck he's done. That's the difference between punching/kicking fighting styles and swordplay. Characters can afford to take punches and kicks and keep on going past the damage, but slashes are a different story, if delivered to the right place, even if the person taking the attack can stand back up, they'll still be critically injured. A prime example is the jugular. A blow like a punch or a kick to the neck, while devastating, is more affordable to take than a slash to the neck. It's not about whether or not Zoro can generate a slash equal in strength or above to Jozu's punch, that's irrelevant because of what the effects of a slash is. What do you think you're more likely to walk away from, someone slicing the tendon on the back of your ankle, or someone kicking the tendon?
Zoro can blitz Crocodile, strike both sides of his neck, and that's a dead bannaro.
What are you talking about? Croc. has showed nice feats during MF...
No one knows how good is CoO is but CoA must of been good if he was able to do this without having his hook breaking:

Clashing with Doflamingo. Even Doflamingo had an interest in teaming up with him. We still have no idea as to why he was so fixated on asking him to team up; it could be because of how strong he is or the knowledge he's had while ruling Alabasta. I would say it had to do with his strength because he was pretty pissed/jealous when Croc. was "teaming" up with WB. Remember, Doffy is the same person that's toying around with Luffy.:

Tanking a brilliant punk from Jozu:

He also took Luffy's 2nd gear kick pretty casually as well. Also, even Sengoku recognized Crocodile's strength.:

You do know his hook is made of a gold alloy, which means gold blended with other metals? The hook is gonna be very strong.
Doflamingo wanted to team up with Crocodile not because he's strong, but because they are both involved in the criminal underworld. Doflamingo also wanted to work with kid Baby 5, Buffalo and a baby Dellinger, as he let them into his family. Doflamingo was just going for a business deal. He wasn't pissed or jealous at all, he was mocking Crocodile, the same way he was mocking Sanji by saying he packed a whollop and then proceeded to wipe the floor with his ass.
He didn't tank Jozu's brilliant punk. Being sent flying, bleeding and dazed like he was isn't tanking.

Yeah but it's still able to handle hits from Mihawk's yoru with no signs of even breaking? I understand that the hook is made out of strong material but to show no signs of even slightly breaking is pretty impressive.
Proof?
He did tank it. He seemed "fine" after receiving a direct hit.
