Try not to use a jutsu's hand seals as a disadvantage to a technique. We know everything greater than one hand seal is a prolem. Now, get ready to do some target practise on my clones. I then form one hand seal before creating three clones spread evenly apart behind our location.

A swift technique that utilizes an electrical current that splits into multiple tendrils to attack their target. The user must simply bring their hands together while charging their lightning chakra in that section before slamming her hands on the ground releasing the currents. Good against multiple opponent's.


The user will lift their hands to the air as they charge their lightning chakra. They will then aim that hand towards the target before unleashing the energy in the form of a lightning bolt.


This tech allows the user to create a rope of lightning that can be utilized to hit their target electrocuting them.

After reading over the scroll I target the center clone. I then bring my hands together and begin to channel my lighting chakra into them which produces a small electrical current around them. I then proceed to slam my hands on the ground "Raiton: Ikazuchi no Utage" this sends an electrical current towards the center clone that splits into three separate currents when close to the original target to hit all three clones at the same time.

"The second jutsu in this scroll reminds me of Raiton: Ikazuchi no Kiba except unlike Raiton: Ikazuchi no Kiba Raiton: Hiraishin is a more focused attack. What I mean by this is that Raiton: Hiraishin is specifically directing one lightning bolt at a target instead of multiple bolts of lightning. I also like how this also has no real inclination to when the user will cast this jutsu since no hand seals are needed but is the opponent is a lighting style user the may catch the hand pointing."

"Now on to the third Jutsu (Raiton: Torunedo Raitoningu) - Lightning Release: Tornado Lightning Counter: (Raiton: Reijingu Sandā) - Lightning Release: Raging Thunder. By creating a half dome of lightning around my own body I essentially create a B rank electrical barrier to cancel out the jutsu.Adv: This jutsu is great for both offence and defense as well as attacking from short to mid range. The caster can proceed to capture targets, bring them closer for cqc(resembling scorpion's chain) or deflect earth based/taijutsu/non physical assaults from there opponent.
Dis: I would say fighting another raiton style fighter since they would be able to deflect the whip or fighting a primary taijutsu user. My reasoning for this is because if you miss your initial assault unless skilled enough you have left yourself open."

Note: Can only use lightning based techniques up to B rank.

A variation of the clone technique except using lightning chakra. This clone returns to its pure lightning form when struck and it is only able to use raiton up to B rank.

I read the scrolls and as per ZandaT's instructions I create a lightning clone with the intent to harm me next to me. The clone glares at me and smirks, at that time we both jump back to a mid range distance. I proceed to channel chakra into my dominate arm but right before I launch my attack the clone speaks still smirking "Raiton: Raijū Hashiri no Jutsu" I then see an electrical hound stream towards me. Immediately I shift focus of chakra from right hand to mouth. Following this I spit a bolt of lightning at the hound and follow suit. As I draw closer to the hound I split my Raiton: Gian Yari into five separate spears two towards the clone and three towards the hound. The hound dodges the first but is struck by the other two neutralizing it but this also allowed the clone to react to the two headed his way. The clone proceeds to dodge the spears but by that time I had entered close range and threw a counter kick in anticipation of the dodge "Gotcha" I said with a determined look, but as the kick landed the clone laughed "But you forgot one thing." The clone then reverts back to its natural state and stuns Keji. Frustrated I get up after the I regain full function of my muscles "That sucked..."

Raiton: Shuriken Seigyo no Jutsu) - Lightning Release: Shuriken Control Technique

Description: The user will take out two large shuriken or Windmill Shuriken and channel their raiton chakra into them. Note: Numbing Effect lasts for one turn.

I listen to my Zanda's words and reply with a sigh "They should probably mention things like that in the scroll, but I understand what you are saying." I then create two lightning clones next to me. Once summoned the clones jump opposite of me entering mid range and prepare for their assault. Clone 1 pulls out two windmill shuriken while the clone two pulls out his ninjato. Seeing this I pull out my ninjato and place it into the ground. Clone 2 begins to run at me entering short range while clone 1 remains in mid but activates raiton: shuriken seigyo no jutsu and throws one shuriken at me. Seeing clone 2 initially I grab my ninjato and begin to enter cqc with him. Once I see an opening I go to finish of the clone 2 but he side steps my downward swing exposing me to the thrown shuriken. I then dodge it by leaning back(matrix style without the arm flails) and activate Chō Biburāto Raitontō and lean back up. Clone 1 pulls back on the cable to bring the shuriken back at me but I with my lightning infused sword was able to block it stopping its progression. As clone 1 tugged to recover his shuriken clone 2 tried to catch me off guard and attack from behind. As he went to strike I simply released the shuriken and ducked allowing it to impale the clone causing it to disappear.

Angered by his allies defeat clone 1 begins his next assault by throwing one shuri directly at me and the other above my head. As I see them flying towards me I weave the ram hand sign and wait. When both shuri are close to landing I maneuver my blade so that it passes through the center holes of the windmill shuri as I dodge briefly pinning then to the ground and raise my hand to the sky. The clone struggles to free at least on shuri but by the time he does "Raiton: Dai Denki hōden no Jutsu" causing an electrical discharge to strike the clone stunning him and eventually causing it to vanish.

I then look at Zanda "Sorry about that I tend to prefer action to words. Also when I use a jutsu do I always have to say the name of the technique aloud?"

No Keji, lol, I've been trying to tell you that you don't have to call the jutsus names from the start. Other than that I like your creativity with your moves, but some parts you have to be a little more descriptive about when facing other opponents either in the NW or BA. Parts like how you knock the shuriken away with the sword the first time, and then how you dodge while putting your sword through the shuriken hole the second time because people can be petty. I liked it though and for that I want to see more action from you, but this time i'll give you a legit opponent. I then summon a clone followed by another scroll in which I throw over to you.

The clone immediately rushes you as it releases a C ranked 3m diameter wind blast at you which it uses as a distraction to jump over your location in a somersault before landing 3m behind you. Upon landing the clone performs 1 hand seal as it smirks evilly while causing a large A ranked tornado to descend down upon you at swift speeds. It then throws an explosive kunai at your location while backpedaling into a location mid.range from both of our locations. The clone then proceeds to wave 10 hand seals as the sky darkens as he attempts to use his ultimate wind jutsu "Fujin: The Wind God".

Description: The user manipulating their chakra generates a plasma barrier around them to serve as a defence which protects them from incoming attacks, even from something as wide-ranged as the Quicksand Waterfall Flow. However the user cannot use other techniques besides lightning release or physical based techniques while sustaining the technique. The user can rush at their opponents even if the barrier is active and use it to ram against them. The shield can be used offensively, by discharging the electricity in the direction of their choice in a wave resulting in using the energy of the barrier and ending its effects.
Note: Technique remains active for 3 turns.

Seeing the clone rush over I ready myself but notice the clone preparing some sort of attack. I then notice that the clone inhales and instantly know what is about to happen since it has been done before in this training. I then create a plasma barrier around myself by manipulating the lightning my lightning chakra just before the clone exhales a wind blast "Nice try Zanda..." Not realizing that the first technique may have been a distraction I hear Zanda land behind me. Turning with eye's wide due to shock I see him preform a single hand seal and smirk. I then feel pressure coming from above me and look up to see that a tornado has landed on my plasma ball. Frustrated "Dammit!" I release my plasma ball's energy upward to halt the tornado just enough to escape before it completely lands on the ground. By the time I look up I see Zanda backpedaling but I also see a kunai flying at me. I swiftly raise my left arm channeling chakra into it "Raiton: Rakurai Senkou!" releasing a purple lightning in the kunais direction knocking it away from me. When said kunai finally lands in the ground somewhere it explodes and as the dust settles I see Zanda at mid range weaving multiple hand seals and notice that the sky begins to turn black "That can't be good." I then begin condensing my lightning chakra into an orb in my right hand. Once I've channeled enough chakra into the orb I release it into the air and it begins to strike Zanda multiple times shocking him several times preventing him from completing his jutsu. Winded with Zanda's clone standing there with electrical discharges coming from his body I throw 10 kunai to finish the battle. I then turn to the real ZandaT "With all respect you're an ass you know that." Smiling as I take a seat to catch my breath and await further instruction.

That was to test you on battle skills according to our rp's rule. You started and ended the counter well, but due to a mishap in the middle you would've died. Since wind is over lightning, the C rank projectile would be enough to break your defence leaving you helpless to the tornado above. I kinda made a mistake myself because I haven't taught you a suitable counter to a A ranked wind technique until you learn S rank lightning so my bad. Perform the first two jutsu and use the template on the other. I then summon a scroll followed by a clone. The clone begins to run away towards mid.range befor mocking you.

Description: The user must first perform the following sequence of hand seals Ox → Rabbit → Monkey → Dragon → Rat → Bird → Ox → Snake → Dog → Tiger → Monkey and they will then focus lightning chakra into their hand to create a lightning jutsu that is concentrated in the user's palm and thrusted toward the opponent at high speed. The lightning in the user's palm sounds like birds chirping, hence the name, and allows the user to perform high grade cutting damage or high penetration piercing thrusts.
Note: Someone who mastered lightning release can perform chidori with just the Ox hand seal.
Note: Uchiha Sasuke and Kakashi Hatake bios can use the technique without handseals

the user will focus lightning chakra into one of their hands creating a concentrated lightning jutsu that is useful for clean cutting or penetration.

I nod my head "Understood." Zanda then throws me the scroll and as I read through it I hear his clone mocking me. Annoyed I look up to see the clone is running away from me and I begin to weave Ox → Rabbit → Monkey → Dragon → Rat → Bird → Ox → Snake → Dog → Tiger → Monkey mid way through I say "Fuk this is long" but upon completion I focus lightning chakra to my right hand causing lightning to emit from my palm as well as the sound of birds chirping. I then grab a shuriken from my bag with left hand and throw it vertically behind my back. At the same time I spin around to do a 360 degree turn grabbing the shuriken with my chidori hand and forcibly channel the techniques into it upon completing the spin I release the shuirken in the direction of the clone "This will teach you to mock me!" I exclaim. Stopping at mid range the clone turns to reply but instead is cut in half by my raiton: fusei shuriken chidori jutsu. I then turn to Zanda to complete my final jutsu in a form I haven't used in awhile.

" Name: ( Raiton: Raisogekishin ) - Lightning Release: Lightning Rat Violent Quake

Counter: ( Raiton: Purazuma Bōru ) - Lightning Release: Plasma Ball. By using plasma ball I could effectively nullify lightning rat violent quake because it is pure electricity of the same rank with no physical attributes what so ever to pass through my defense.

Adv: I will say that it creates several disk's that all travel towards an enemy at great speeds meaning the probably won't be able to react to it unless very skilled.

Dis: The lack of a ability to control the disk with your chakra meaning if the dodged you won't be able to redirect the attack."

Well done! Now lets move on to the more serious A ranks. For this next scroll I want you to analyze the first jutsu and perform the other two jutsu on these clones. I first summon the training scroll before summoning two scrolls, one to my left and the other to my right. They both run towards mid.range in opposite directions.

A Rank 2

(Raiton: Chidori Nagashi) - Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds Current
Rank: A
Type: Offense/Defence
Range: Short (Mid if channeled through a medium)
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A (+10 if used to boost weapon damage)
Description: This jutsu allows the user to generate non-focused electricity from their body. It can be used as an omnidirectional attack or be channeled through weapons, the ground or other conductive mediums. Because the electricity isn't focused, it doesn't kill on contact, instead it has great numbing and paralyzing effects. To channel Nagashi through a medium, the user needs to focus the technique into one of his hands which will then be put in contact with the medium and can only choose to either do a widespread attack throughout his whole body or to channel it into something; he cannot achieve both usages at the same time. Despite not having much destructive or damaging properties, Nagashi can be used to destroy low rank earthen and wooden structures and even negate chakra on the ground to stop high ranked earth and wood techniques. It has also been noted that Lightning Specialists that have mastered Lightning to the highest degree can resist total paralyzation, although they still feel the pain and numbing effects.
Note: Paralyzation lasts 1 turn if sucessful but is ineffective against bios who have a primary Lightning Specialty

A very very popular jutsu on base so I advise that you learn it very well because you will see this one a lot. It's a full body surge which can get you out of B rank and below jutsu, and the jutsu itself has 2 usages but only 1 can be used with once. The user can choose to channel the unfocused lightning through a medium with hand contact, primarily used to defuse earth techs by channeling the lightning energy directly into it, or it can be released as an omnidirectional attack, which is its full body surge aspect.

Description: After performing a small sequence of 3 hand seals the user will place their hand on the ground converting their chakra in to lightning. The user then sends an enormous bolt of electricity that cuts through the ground in the direction of the enemy. The shape of the bolt is a triangular with the base in the direction of the user and the tip headed towards the target. It causes devastating destruction on its way and generates enough heat and power to destroy whatever it comes into contact with.

Description: The user reshapes the Chidori in their hand into the form of countless senbon which are shot with a simple hand movement towards the target. The senbons are extremely precise and have the same numbing and paralyzing effects as Chidori, carrying enormous speed. Because the technique requires no handseals and is done with simple hand movements, its extremely hard to avoid while in short range and quite dangerous to counter due to the precision attacks it can be used to perform.

Well done! Now lets move on to the more serious A ranks. For this next scroll I want you to analyze the first jutsu and perform the other two jutsu on these clones. I first summon the training scroll before summoning two scrolls, one to my left and the other to my right. They both run towards mid.range in opposite directions.

A very very popular jutsu on base so I advise that you learn it very well because you will see this one a lot. It's a full body surge which can get you out of B rank and below jutsu, and the jutsu itself has 2 usages but only 1 can be used with once. The user can choose to channel the unfocused lightning through a medium with hand contact, primarily used to defuse earth techs by channeling the lightning energy directly into it, or it can be released as an omnidirectional attack, which is its full body surge aspect.

After reading the scroll and seeing the clones run in opposite directions I look to the clone going to the right pull out a ninjato and point it at the clone. I proceed to channel lightning chakra into the blade using it as a medium to stream chidori nagashi at the clone. At the same time I look towards the clone running left and with a swift horizontal movement in the clones direction create 16 senbon made out of lightning chakra and send them flying at the clone hitting all arteries. As soon as the senbon take flight I turn back to the clone on the right and launch my chidori nagashi hitting the clone as it enters mid range. The jutsu doen't kill the clone but paralyzes him and with that time I preform I weave three hand seals and place my hand on the ground. Channeling lightning chakra a bolt in the shape of a triangle shoots from the ground ripping through everything in its path including the clone. I stand "Well that's one down. The other should have been dead even if a few senbon didn't hit their marks the clone would have bleed to death in secs." I turn to make sure and as I look all I see is the smoke from the clone disappearing.

So I want you to perform the last technique that you learned by your previous trainer, and I'm going to watch you. Jakai then took out a scroll and then opened it up and placed it on the ground. He then slammed his hand on the seal and a puff of smoke was released. Several dummy targets would then appear.

Once awaken, the pupil turns red and a single tomoe (巴) seal appears around the center pupil. As the user masters and evolves their eyes, the tomoe (巴) seals increase, topping 3 per eye. The main ability of the Sharingan, like any other Dōjutsu, is to enable the user to see the flow of chakra. This ability is further improved as the Sharingan gives color to chakra, enabling the user to differentiate chakras from different people or from different sources. Although the user can see chakra through matter, he cannot see beyond dense matter or in long distances. Coupled with the ability to see chakra, Sharingan users gain acess to an incredible clarity of perception that enables them to read insanely fast movements or minor details, enabling them the ability to foresee in an easier way, traps, incoming attacks, etc. This clarity of perception is so great that a Sharingan user can sometimes start performing a counter to an attack that is still being performed, enabling the counter to be launched only a split a second after the attack. This clarity of perception leaves Sharingan users able to track high speed movement easily as well as to read through handseals. This last ability enables them to learn techniques much faster and sometimes copy them directly from the enemy, as long as the user has the necessary chakra affinities and requirements to perform it. Finally, the Sharingan is often linked to Genjutsu and mind-manipulating illusions, mostly because the user can, mostly through Eye Contact, directly and precisely use his chakra to manipulate the enemy's chakra flow. In return, the users clarity of perception gives him the ability to more easily decipher visual illusions cast upon him and see past them. The Sharingan has a great cost to the user though. The chakra consumption disables its use for long periods of time and, even when the user grows stronger, it's still hard to keep it active for long periods of time.

Note: The user, if he hasn't gained full mastery over his Sharingan, will need to spend a move to activate it, although as long as he has chakra and enough stamina he'll be able to keep it active until the end of the match. If the user is Sannin Rank or above and has gained his 3 Tomoe Sharingan and held it for one month, he becomes able to passively activate it, meaning he'll no longer spend a move of his 3 per turn.
Note: To avoid direct Eye Contact and be able to focus only on the body movement below the chin, the opponent needs to have mastered Taijutsu to possess the necessary skill.

Jakai summons 3 training dummies. "Again?" Keji sighs because he now has to redo the jutsu. Drawing his ninja-to from his back Keji points it at the closest dummy to him. Channeling chidori into the blade using it as a medium he streams a lightning beam through it piercing the dummy. Seeing another dummy to his left Keji releases his raises his left arm while undo the previous jutsu and sheathing his blade. He then creates a chidori in his left hand and drops his armto his side reshaping the chidori into senbon on the way down that fly towards the target filling up the bulls eye with chidori senbon. Keji then turns to the final target to the right and preforms 3 hand seals. He then kneels down and places his hand on the ground generating lightning chakra to create and send an enormous triangular bolt of electricity towards the dummy. Upon impact the dummy and due to the jutsu super heat it discinegrates into ash. Keji then turns back towards Jakai "How was that?"

Jakai watched carefully as Keji performed the techniques. He couldn't help but feel the strangest sense of Deja Vu while watching him. It brought back memories of Jakai's own training with Zanda. That's very good Keji. This seems like it'll be a breeze for you. Now seeing as how Zanda was your previous teacher, I'm going to finish this training the same way he did. So we will follow the same routine you've had so far.

Using this technique, the user creates sixteen giant pillars by using his lightning chakra to shape the ground into a multitude of pillars, which then form a giant cubic oven to trap the enemy. It is often used after Earth Release: Mud Fall to cover the enemy target in mud and then follow up with using Fire Release: Firing Biscuit Technique, creating flames in the oven to roast and harden the mud, immobilizing the enemy.

Description: The user increases the range of their Chidori by using form manipulation to extend it into a blade up to 10 meters in length. This blade is capable of splitting into multiple additional blades upon contact with an enemy, drastically increasing the number of wounds it can inflict. Like other Chidori-related techniques, this jutsu will numb its target upon contact but unlike others, seems to focus more on having a cutting power, like a katana, than a piercing one. Because of its cutting abilities, it often seems to manifest a certain "solidity"; a tangible aspect.

The first technique you'll see is quite simple. You'll begin by compressing a ball of condensed lightning into your hands. You're then able to throw or smash the condensed ball of lightning towards a target, resulting in a massive explosion.

After catching a scroll and reading it Keji looks at the dummies scattered around the field. Thinking to himself "One mid left one mid behind me and one long range upper right." Keji smiles and starts generating raiton chakra into his left hand compressing it into a ball. He then begins to rotate his body to the right and upon facing the target behind him hurls the ball towards it. Continuing his rotation Keji creates a chidori in his right hand and points it at the second dummy. He then extends the chidori piercing the dummies head, as he begins to fully face the second dummy he twists his wrist causing the chidori spear to splinter inside of it. Not missing a beat Keji releases that jutsu and continues to spin towards the third and final target. Keji weaves the rat monkey horse tiger seals as he rotates and upon facing his last target stops and focuses his raiton chakra around it creating sixteen pillars to form. These pillars then begin electrocuting the dummy. As he finished Keji falls to his back due to being dizzy from the constant rotation he just did.

Jakai smiled as he watched Keji perform the techniques. That's an excellent job Keji. You're almost done. This is the next set is the last set of techniques for A-Rank.

Jakai then takes out a scroll and tosses it towards Keji. Perform the first technique and use the template for the second technique, alright?

Description: After doing the Rabbit → Rat → Horse → Ram hand seals, the user will slam his hand on the ground and release into it a massive amounts of lightning chakra which will then pool beneath his opponent before releasing itself into a gigantic column of lightning which shocks anything caught above it. The technique can affect a bigger or smaller area depending on the user's will.

The first jutsu allows one to create a vortex of electricity around their body that forms into a dragon's head. The head seemingly grows as it shoots forward towards a target. Lightning and sparks bounce of the dragon head, affecting nearby surroundings and object. As a streaming technique, it requires constant chakra control.

The second technique is involves channeling lightning through the earth after performing four hand seals. Afterwards the user will then slam their hands on the ground releasing a massive amount of electricity that pools under the target before erupting into a column of lightning that has an adjustable size.

After reading the scroll and listening to Jakai Keji lets out a sigh. "Do I really have to go back to verbal training?" as he said this his facial expression changednosh. Composing himself Keji places his hands in his pocket and starts channeling raiton chakra all around him. This creates an electrical vortex around Keji with a dragons head forming at the end. Keji then sends the dragon rampaging all around the training grounds until Keji began to get tired and released the jutsu. He then looks to Jakai with a sad and depressing expression and begins the verbal portion.

Counter: I currently don't know any technique to counter this jutsu.


Adv: One is that the enemy probably wouldn't notice the jutsu until the last second. Another would be the range and size of the jutsu allowing the user a wide array of attacks.

Dis: B-A rank fuuton could probably defend against this. Also sensory types if I am correct could possible sense the massive amount of chakra pooling under them."

Noticing Keji's obvious displeasure of the verbal training, Jakai gave an apologetic smile to him. This was the way his previous senpai taught him and it would be the same way that he would complete Keji's training. With that, Jakai watched closely as Keji performed the technique. He then listened in on as he explained the second technique.

After he was done, Jakai then spoke. "Actually, you do know a technique that can counter this. If you use Chidori Nagashi, you can send it through the ground as a medium. That way, both electrical currents cancel each other out in the ground. Also, the advantage isn't that good, since the handseals it requires can act as a giveaway that a technique is on its way. One advantage I would say is that it has varying sizes that can accommodate different situations, allowing the user to use this on more widespread areas or narrower areas. And you disadvantages are alright, but a major disadvantage can be how this technique requires a medium, so you can't use it in the air. Be sure to think outside the box"

Moving on, Jakai took out the next scroll. "Analyze the first and last technique for me. Then, perform the second technique. You can hit any target over there."

The user can increase the number of spears to attack multiple enemies by branching the main spear. This, coupled with the sheer speed of the lightning, makes it a difficult technique to evade. This strong attack can be defended against by an equally strong attack of the same element such as Raikiri.

Description: The Lightning Cutter is an enhanced and concentrated form of the Chidori with the same effects and drawbacks. It is done by performing the Ox → Rabbit → Monkey hand seals. According to Might Guy, it gained its name after Kakashi split a bolt of lightning with it. Because the Chidori is already powerful on its own, the Lightning Cutter requires better chakra control, which is exemplified in its appearance. The Chidori appears simply as a mass of white electrical chakra in the user's hand, while the Lightning Cutter is much more focused. Kakashi has shown different ways of forming and using the Lightning Cutter, unique to him. For example, he demonstrated the ability to imbue a projectile weapon, such as a kunai, with his Lightning Cutter, granting the technique long-range capabilities by throwing the kunai towards his target. In this instance, the kunai was capable of piercing through multiple large rocks with ease, without any loss of momentum or change in trajectory.

Note: Kakashi biographies can use the technique without hand seals.
Note: Only Kakashi biographies can apply the technique to a kunai and use it as a projectile attack.

Description: After using a fire jutsu to heat the atmosphere and create thunderclouds in the sky, the user will use Chidori to take control of the lightning above. They can then make the lightning strike an opponent in the blink of an eye.

Note: Can only be avoided with time/space techniques or otherwise absolute defenses.
Note: Can only be used once per battle.
Note: In the turn before the use of Kirin, the user must have used at least a B-Rank, Long Range Fire (Katon) technique directed at the sky.
Note: User needs to post Chidori, meaning that in the turn Kirin is used, the user spends 2 moves.

"A stronger version of a technique I had taught you earlier in your training which can be performed by one hand seal. This technique is a constant stream, so you'll have to maintain focus in order to keep it going. It has an incredibly piercing ability, and it's also able to branch off into multiple spears. This gives it the ability to hit several targets.

The second technique is a more concentrated, powerful, and advance form of the Chidori, but is actually the mother technique, Lightning Blade. It is pretty simple and easy to perform. You just perform the handseals and form it similar to Chidori, but you want to condense the chakra to a higher degree. It's blue in color and gives off a constant electrical sound.

The last tech is one of the most powerful moves there is because of how hard it is to defend against and impossible to dodge without an extreme speed boost. It takes three steps to use.
