Appearing in a puff of smoke you would notice a man stepping from it. He was young, handsome, and manly in every aspect imaginable. He was the type of guy that gave heterosexual males gay thoughts as they admired his features. Gazing at you he squints as he sums up your power level based off of stance and looks. He shook his head in disapproval. "I am your new teacher, they call me ZandaT. Right now you look pitiful, but after this training you'll become a not so splitting image of me, but the resemblance will be there somewhat. So lets get started. Tell me all you know about the lightning element. What properties does it carry, what are its effects on the body, what forms have been seen in the manga, who are some prominent users, what are its strengths, its weaknesses, etc."

Noticing a sexy man beast appear in front him Keji begins to wonder if he is bi-curious or not. Keji speaks in a calm voice"Of course I look pitiful I'm new to the whole shinobi deal. Also I'm okay with being not a spitting image of you don't know if I could handle men staring me down. As for lightning property wise it carries electricity, is fast paced style of attacking but is slower then true lighting allowing enemies time to dodge. It effects the users body by causing high frequency vibrations in their chakra allowing for greater piercing damage and fast movements. I have seen lighting used in the form of a cloak, spear, traveling through a blade and or ground. I have also heard of techniques called Chidori, Lightning Blade, Karin, and have heard that some shinobi can use black lightning. Users worth mentioning that I have heard of are Sasuke Uchiha, Darui or 5th Raikage, Lord A or 4th Raikage, 3rd Raikage, and Kakashi Hatake or The Copy ninja. Lightning style is strongest against earth style because it can freely travel through the ground and break it from underneath. It is also good to use with water style combinations because water is an electrical conductor so it increases the damage of the attack but, if caught in water or wet both caster and enemy could suffer damage. Lightning is also weak against wind based jutsu because wind is an neutralizing conductor. Lightning is also much more powerful when it utilizes natural light like techniques such as karin." Swinging down my hand with a quick jerk a kunai slides out from my sleeve into my hand and I throw it at Keji but not with the intent to harm him. "I want you to channel your chakra into the kunai and throw it at that tree in front of you. Your goal is to make the kunai pierce into the tree and exit the back. Hehe, the thing is you wont achieve this with normal chakra so you'll need to transform its nature to that of lightnings. As you mold your chakra you need try to make it as sharp and thin as possible. It needs to vibrate just like you said, because that is the key component that sets it apart from other elemental chakra. If you don't get it on the first try then use your own kunai till you get it. Them things ain't cheap."

"Understood." Keji catches the Kunai and holds it out in front of him. Closing his eyes he exhales softly and thinks "vibrate, vibrate, vibrate..." His chakra begins to flow into the Kunai. Thinking that he had it down with a swing of the arm he tosses the kunai. It failed to pierce the tree. After about 3 times Keji realizes this may take awhile. 1500 yen later Keji finally get's it to go through. With a sigh of relief Keji says "About dam time." Keji then goes back to report to ZandaT.

"Finally." I said after waking up from my sleep. Getting up as I yawn I look over to Keji before talking once more. "My training primarily consists of performing the jutsu, explaining the jutsu in your own words, or giving me an adv., disadv., as well as a counter within your capabilities. If you have any questions along the way then feel free to ask at anytime. Now, are you ready?"

Looking at ZandaT with a determined look and a smirk on my face I reply "Yea, I'm ready to learn what ever you have to teach me. Before I forget I replaced that kunai you lent me." I proceed to throw the kunai at ZandaT in a manner that he could easily catch.

Sidestepping the kunai I also summon a training scroll from a seal located on my hand all in a fluid and cool manner. Throwing the scroll over to my student I then proceeded to carry on with the lesson. "These scrolls is what i'll be using as a teaching device for our trainings. Each one will have about 3 jutsu fully explained within it, and from there you will analyze them and perform the three training methods I have set up for us based on my instructions."

In order to perform this jutsu you must mold your lightning chakra at certain parts of the body, primarily limbs and mouth, and upon releasing it you will be able to create small bolts of lightning sent towards the target.
Molding your lightning chakra in your hands you will then slam them on the ground as you release the chakra creating a surge of lightning that travels across the ground to their targets feet where it will then shock them.
Swinging your arm horizontally across your body while releasing lightning chakra from your palms, you are able to release a wave of lightning bolts at the target that will pierce into them upon contact.
Explain one jutsu in your own words and perform another. Fill out this template for the remaining jutsu and fyi, for the counter portion you don't have to post the entire counter jutsu, just its name and how you would use it.

Catching the scrolls I reply "Understood." After carefully reading what was given I proceed with the task given.
"Raiton no Jutsu or Lightning Release Technique is a D rank offensive jutsu. It is performed by molding lightning chakra into ones mouth and/or limbs primarily. When released the user sends small lightning bolts towards his/her target. For example say you engaged your target in hand to hand combat. Before the assualt you could mold lightning chakra into you fist's and as you land a hit release the chakra sending small lightning bolts directly through your target. If the target dodged the initial punch you could still release the technique catching your target off guard and still hitting them."
Turning around to face the trees I swing my right arm from left to right "Raiton: Ikazuchi Kashou" sending a wave of lightning bolts towards said trees. I then turn back around to ZandaT to finish the final portion of the teaching.
"(Raiton: Raikou Oonami) Lightning Surge
Counter: (Raiton: Ikazuchi Kashou) Lightning Wave. Once I see my target launch lighning surge on the ground I would jump into the air preventing lightning surge from making contact with my feet and proceed to launch a lightning wave at my target.
Advantage: Raikou Oonami would be ideal for combination attacks or sneak attacks. For instance I cast Raikou Oonami and the enemy jumps to dodge my partner then has a target siting in mid air to hit.
Disadvantage: This jutsu only travels through the ground basically making it ineffective unless combined with a partner's jutsu or follow up jutsu other wise I believe it could be easily dodged."
I then look to ZandaT and ask "What do you think?"

"Everything was great for your first try, but I gotta point out one thing though, in our Rp you can't dodge a ground based technique by saying you jump into the air because that would be considered freeform unless it is like taijutsu, kenjutsu, or like body based moves. Other than that good job." I then summon another scroll and create a clone at the same time. "I want you to try the template on two techniques and take out my clone with the last. I wanna make sure you get the counterpart right."

After performing three hand seals you can use this jutsu to create an electrical current from your hand that spreads to great distances as it travels. This lightning current can travel in the air and as long as you are still streaming it you can use it to hit multiple targets or avoid counters so the jutsu is very versatile.
After placing your hand on a medium, or aiming your hand at your opponent you will be able to release a wave of electricity powerful enough to deliver small shocks to the opponent. This jutsu is very cool and versatile because of its characteristics when used with water.
A cool jutsu that can be used to attack and defend at once if used to defend against taijutsu, but other than that this jutsu allows you to create an electrical armor that surrounds the body electrocuting anyone who comes in contact with it. I wouldn't use this armor to defend against solid objects other than earth tho since the electricity has no solid properties.

I scratch my head for a bit. "I think I understand what you are saying." I then study the techniques and formulate how I want to approach this next phase in my training. Finished with my study I proceed to complete my tasks.

Counter: Raiton: Raigeki no Yoroi. Before being hit by Jibashi activating Raigeki no Yoroi would protect me since they both are lightning release and both have no solid form they should cancel out.
Adv: Combined with a suiton technique it can deal massive amounts of damage. This technique can also vary power from just simple shocking an opponent to cutting through rock.
Dis: From it's description it seems to be a linear based attack which means it would hard to strike an opponent who is not still."

Adv: Protects the user from non-physical attacks, earth style attacks, and taijutsu attacks. It can also be doubled as an offensive technique.
Dis: Last's one turn, and is vulnerable to physical attacks other than taijutsu and earth based techniques."
I then turn to ZandaT's shadow clone and wave the Tiger, Snake, and Dog hand signs(in that order). Immediately I raise my right hand at Zanda clone "Raiton: Raigeki" sending an electrical current in it's direction.

"It can stop physical rocks like taijutsu though, and what do you mean by metal sand? As far as everything else, good job. Your counter to the first tech is correct and I want you to have a mentality more like that when it comes to Rp battling. Well, at least for now until you gain more experience in battling." I then follow suit and summon another scroll while simultaneously creating a clone 3m away from us that began to run into mid.range upon being created. "I know you can't counter the first with your abilities, so analyze it and perform the other to take out my clone. Be descriptive but it doesn't have to be a wally."

After performing 2 hand seals and clapping their hands once near a cliff of some sorts the user will be able to cause the stones and rock in the earth to dislodge via electrical energy and crush anyone underneath it. This jutsu requires location and strategy placement.
Holding your hand in front of your body you will channel lightning chakra into it causing it to grow yellow before releasing bolts of lightning that spread outwards from the hand in the shape of a horn.

Looking at my next to scrolls I study them intensely and like Zanda said there is no way form me to counter the first as I am now. "Here it goes."
Seeing the clone running into the distance I raise my right hand but I aim 1m or so in front of it. While leading the clone I begin to channel lightning chakra into my right. As soon as it begins to glow yellow I release. "Raiton: Shuurai Rappa no Jutsu" If I lead the target correctly the bolt of lightning should hit. Catching my breath I turn back to ZandaT to finish my test.
"(Raiton: Iwa Nadare) Lightning Release: Stone Avalanche
Counter: N/A
Adv: This technique is perfect for an ambush whether it be a solo ambush or team ambush. It could also be used to alter the terrain of your current location. Iwa Nadare could also be used as an escape tactic. For instance if I was being chase and ran up a cliff I would weave the signs as I ran and when I hit the top release the technique to drop an avalanche on them.
Dis: This technique is location based. Meaning that I have to be at the right spot or it would be useless. I would also think that if used carelessly in a group ambush one could easily bury his/her allies in the process."

"Describe the jutsu more, don't do the insert jutsu name thing. Also, in your stone avalanche adv. part I didn't get something. If you run to the top of the cavern as you complete the jutsu to cause an avalanche don't you think that would be dangerous? I mean, the jutsu is created to destroy structures........ On to the next." I then summon another scroll and a clone. "You know what to do." The clone will have one wind release defense. Either a blast or a current.

A cool technique that revolves around the basis of using one's lightning chakra to clone their sword. After channeling your sword with lightning chakra you will cause it to levitate in front of yourself where it will then multiply into two copies. The swords stay levitating around the user who must continuously channel chakra into them in order to maintain control.
A cool omnidirectional ground technique. The user will channel their lightning chakra to their hand to the point that electrical bolts start to emit from it. The user then slams that palm into the ground causing an electrical energy to discharge omnidirectionally in a short range radius.

I ponder on which jutsu to use as I study the scrolls. After some thought I pull out one of my kunai and begin to infuse it with lightning chakra this causes the kunai to levitate and spin rapidly. I follow up with "Raiton: Inazuma ken Fudou" creating two copies of the kunai and infuse them with lightning chakra as well giving me a total of three rapidly spinning levitating kunai. I take a knee and begin weaving hand signs sending the kunai towards the clone one flanking left, the other right, and one straight ahead. While doing this I begin to speak on the other jutsu.
"(Raiton: Denki Railanshō) - Lightning Release: Electric Discharge Palm
Counter: (Raiton: Jibashi) Lightning Release: Electromagnetic Murder. Evading or remaining out of the 5 meter kill radius is crucial to this counter. Once outside the radius I can launch a long range attack like Raiton: Jibashi to hit my opponent.
Adv: Perfect for defense/assault against multiple taijutsu, kenjutsu, or just close quarters combatants in general due to its omni directional assault.
Dis: It only has a 5 meter effectiveness and is limited to the ground only meaning this isn't a very versatile technique. It also leaves you open for attack by long range fighters if you miss judge their distance from you."
I then say "Welcome back." with a pleased tone and continue to focus on my battle with the clone.

"I wanted you to take out the clone but cool, he still lives saving me chakra. Also I wouldn't use that tech with kunai just incase. There are some petty people on the site that would quote you in battle just because the tech says swords and not kunai, but if it was used against me I would allow it because it is the same principle. Now, use whatever you must to take out my clone and describe the damage he takes and what not, if any," I ended with a snicker.
The clone will release a C rank blast of wind before charging towards you. It has a body vortex defensive technique in case trouble arise and once in close range it will thrust a kunai towards your neck.

Another cool technique that shows you that lightning is able to be utilized defensively. This barrier isn't a physical one so certain solid techs or ninja tools can still pass through, but energy elements will clash against the lightning currents. When you are against faster opponents remember this technique if they ever rush you.
A cool technique that shows you a little of ration's versatility in terms of structure. This technique allows the user to create a half shaped dome that carries physical and paralyzing properties. The dome is pretty big and the user and enemy will still be able to see through the tech.
A simple nintaijutsu technique utilizing lightning. The user will concentrate their lightning chakra into their first, generating a sphere of pure lightning around it, which unleashes an electrical explosion upon contact.

Seeing the clone prepare for a distance attack I begin to manipulate my chakra while preforming the ox seal. Right before the clones attack hits I release the charka holding my hands out "Raiton: Raiton no Heki." This created a wall of lighting stopping the wind release technique. I then notice that the Zanda clone is charging me and as soon as he comes with in range "Raiton: Reijingu Sandā" Using lighting chakra I creat a half dome made up of lightning and push it towards the clone. When it its "Yes I got him." but notice that the clone is still moving towards me. I notice a defensive technique he most have used expiring but at that moment the clone pull's out a kunai to thrust at me. I then preform the ox seal again "Raiton: Raiton no Heki!" releasing another wall of lightning right on ZandaT's clone. Briefly stopping the clone due to the electrical shock I gather my chakra into my fist and throw a right upper cut to the clones jaw. Upon impact I release the chakra "Raiton: Sandā Sāburu!" causing and electrical explosion sending the Clone two feet off the ground and landing with his body convulsing and then vanishing due to the electrical shocks. After the fight the fight I feel a stream of blood go down my neck "He almost got me..." Keji smiles "Guess we are about to have some fun."

Your fighting skills isnt that bad for your level so good job, but you made a few minor and one big error. Your started your onslaught as you saw my clone preparing to attack. That wording will be looked down upon because it is sort of God modding since you respond to something so accurately off of seeing him prepare to attack. If you had said something like, seeing the clone take in a deep breath allows me to ready myself for an attack, that would be much better. So pay attention to wording, trust me. The most battles I lost Rping comes from my own defeat of poor choice of words. Oh, and never ever use more than three techs in a battle response even if this is training. That's auto defeat out their in the real shinobi world and I don't want you to get use to it here. They might take my license to teach >_>. I want you to analyze the first and the last jutsu while using the template on the middle one. I then summon another scroll and toss it over to you.

Allows the user to create several controlled lightning strikes within mid.range of the user. The technique is first triggered by releasing an electrical discharge into the sky via hand or weapon, and the lightning strikes are fast.
After performing 5 hand seals while releasing their lightning chakra into the ground, the user is able to shape and erect 4 big pillars around the target forming a square like barrier. They then release a barrage of lightning that paralyzes and shocks everything within its radius.
After performing 5 hand seals the user will generate a large amount of lightning in their hands that they will then release in an unfocused manner that passes through any conductive materials making it a versatile attack. This move is ideal to use with the appropriate tools like ninja wire. It'll allow you to capture, paralyze, and damage your target.

"I apologize Zanda." Keji then bow and after he proceeds with the task given to him. "The first jutsu in this scroll is seems really useful to me. By holding my hand of blade in the air I could almost instantly call down a bolt of lighting on my enemy. Example I could raise my arm in a manner that would resemble stretching and then activate this jutsu catching my enemy off guard."
Moving on to the second Jutsu "(Raiton: Shichu Shibari) - Lightning Release: Four-Pillar Bind
Counter: (Raiton: Reijingu Sandā) - Lightning Release: Raging Thunder. By creating a half dome of lightning around my own body I essentially create a B rank electrical barrier to cancel out the Raiton: Shichu Shibari.
Adv: Great for trapping your opponent by attacking from four sides at the same time. This also only gives the no way to escape without taking damage, shocked, or paralyzed.
Dis: I really couldn't think of a disadvantage to this technique besides the amount of seals needed to preform the jutsu"
After looking over this last jutsu a little more Keji begins to explain. "This final jutsu interests me for a couple reasons. It is a strong lightning tech but it's one that is definitely stronger with a water based partner. I also noticed it says there are two ways to use this tech. Option 1 is a none focused burst or the focused conductive version. I feel the burst is more of a shot gun tactic if out numbered and the focused is more of a precision kill."

Try not to use a jutsu's hand seals as a disadvantage to a technique. We know everything greater than one hand seal is a prolem. Now, get ready to do some target practise on my clones. I then form one hand seal before creating three clones spread evenly apart behind our location.
