Why do people like Hidden Mist is so great? It's a D rank tech so even a genin can learn it, it's really good for killing fodders ninjas above chunin level can blow it away.

No hide underground or use genjutsu. What im trying to say is anyone with any powerful ranged ninjutsu can easily evaporate the mist and since as Kakashi said you need two elements to be a jounin most jounins would have the ninjutsu to do that unless there strictly taijutsu orienated like Gai.

Just because a Tech is D-Rank doesn't mean it is bad. Jiraiya used Academy Techs or D-Ranks in his "Studies" all of the time. D-Ranks can be useful.

That genjutsu KO-d a bunch of fodders. An experienced shinobi will be able to dispel the genjutsu before it takes effect.
