Zabuza is underrated - he can 1-hit-KO much of the Narutoverse

As I said, he only lost to Kakashi because Kakashi had Sharingan and could see through the mist.

I'm not saying Zabuza wins against any higher-ups in open combat. I say he can assassinate them - ninja style - if they don't have a way to counter his mist, like a Sharingan or sensor abilities.

Doesn't matter if he had sharingan, Kakashi was relatively weak in Part 1 and so was Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura.

You saying that the sharingan is the reason why Zabuza lost isn't a good enough excuse. Zabuza now is friggin weak. Deal with it...

And Kakashi was not relatively weak in Part 1. I don't know where this assumption came from. 13-year old Kakashi was already fodderizing well-known Iwa jonins. Kakashi in part 1 also kept up with base Itachi, forcing him to use MS to defeat him.

Don't say Zabuza is freaking weak, because this thread is not about strength. Just because Zabuza can assassinate many ninja doesn't mean he is more powerful than them. Know the difference.

Mizukage more likely than not had bodyguards, sensor types among them. Not to mention he was controlled by Obito, who himself has a Sharingan.
The fact Zabuza actually survived this failed attempt at assassination actually speaks for his skills.

I think he could beat Kage, not in open combat, but in assassination. Of course provided he could find yourself with a kage in a 1v1 situation, because most often Kage have protection, including sensor ninja.



Didn't you read my post? Kakashi is a Sharingan user, he has a counter to Hidden Mist. Not a 100% successful one, but enough to see through it. If Kakashi didn't have Sharingan, I can't imagine anyone of them coming out alive from this fight.

Of course that's if Zabuza manages to use Hidden Mist jutsu. But if the distance is not too short or if Zabuza takes her by surprise (that's what assassins do, isn't it?) he takes it.

You've got a point. In this scenario knowledge would play a big part. If Zabuza knew of Tsunade's regenerative abilities, he wouldn't stop on just one vital point, but would destroy as many of them as possible. And even if Tsunade could recover from such damage, she wouldn't be able to fight back in this condition. Zabuza would take this opportunity to strike even more hits.

BUT - if Zabuza had no knowledge, I agree Tsunade would prevail.

Zabuza has nothing which can hurt tsunade, zabuza uses hidden mist & tsunade summons katsuyu & covers the battlefield in acid.

While it's true that Zabuza's strength is not THAT impressive for current manga standards, everyone seems to forget his main skill - assassination.

He was stated to be THE master of Hidden Mist jutsu. He could kill his victims without them realizing what happened.

IMO Zabuza could successfully assassinate most Narutoverse's ninja, including kage, who are not Sharingan users or sensors.

Zabuza fought 3rd mizukage (it was obito) before he escaped from mist village ..
He's high level S-class ninja ..

Zabuza can beat only 3 kages :

1) 4th raikage (he's pathetic with 1 hand) even sasuke beat him
2) gaara (he's kid ) what he can do against experience killer who match up with kakashi beside he doesn't have any tailed beast power.
3) mei (I don't know how did she become a kage lol)


I don't think he can beat other kages but he will give them hard time ..

Literally all she has to do to avoid dying is activate her seal whenever she feels like her life is in danger, she'll probably do it whenever she's attacked because her reaction timing isn't bad.

It's pretty sad how easily she can avoid death, I think Tsunade is actually one of the last Kage's he could assassinate.
