dang thats his name... u know this site could get way more interesting if we talked about the old cartoons and anime and made threads about it....
I added more in but you might have not seen it. Anyway I've seen a good bit of 5Ds probably a little under half of the series...Spoilered just in case people don't wanna know what happened.Once Atem had recovered his memories, he was able to go home back into Ancient Egypt, along with the Millenium Items, but for that to happen Atem had to lose in a duel to Yugi. He didn't want his duelling credibility to be broken either, so he wouldn't lose on purpose. Instead this was more a test for Yugi to see how much he's grown in duelling. Needless to say Yugi won and Atem went home.
I said if it gets to degrading the series as a whole because it's got motorcycles in it, then you'd be one of those people. You can't exactly say something's bad unless you've seen it.
If you've seen half of 5D's, that'd be pretty much the Duel Tournament and Dark Signers arcs. The latter is quite dark for taste with people being killed and ressurected and all that cool stuff, so it's quite interesting.I added more in but you might have not seen it. Mature Audience Yu gi oh was actually mature enough if you think about it the manga had a much more matur theme to it there was rape and even drugs and killing. Seto Kaiba's back story was what made yu gi oh interesting for me. I have seen 5D's and I will tell you it wasn't as good as the original. You're the sort of person who makes the franchise go down. You hear of the concept and then say it's completely stupid that it's on D-Wheels. For your information, 5D's os probably the more popular series of them all, ignoring Duel City in the original. The concept is quite creative and it's a lot darker than the other two, so it's more built for a mature audience. And even then it's not like they have every single duel on the motorcycles.
You people watch way too many abridged series'
No, the first season of YGO was more popular. 5D was only well received since Yuusei Fudo was older than Yugi and Judai. Zexal ... I stopped watching. A hot blooded young protag isn't what I want in YGO. It's rather annoying to have one right now when you've seen Jounouchi, Judai, and Jack. I want someone like Honda or Light Yagami to be the next main character. Better yet, bring back that filler where Dark Magician Girl became a duelist, say to find Yugi's remains or something. You're the sort of person who makes the franchise go down. completely agree...they ruind it...Alot of us who are fond of Yu-Gi-Oh have our opinions. Mine personally is that after the series finale of the YGO main stream show, months later premiered the newer series of the YGO shows: Yu-Gi-Oh GX, a show that never actually features Yugi, ruined YGO's reputation completely.
I am just wondering how many others are out there who agree with me in saying YGO was better off in continuing the original series rather than going too far and trailing it into a seemingly quite lame story.
So the cards followed and made GX decks. I personally believe doing this could have done great damage to the popularity of the franchise.
Tell me what you think?
