I'VE TYPED THIS ON THREE DIFFERENT FORMS, BUT I'D LIKE TO SHARE IT ON THIS ONE TOO. EVEN IF YOU DON'T AGREE, PLEASE SHOW RESPECT WHEN STATING YOUR OWN OPPINION. THIS IS WHAT I THINK, AND I'M NOT RETALIATING ON ANYTHING THAT ANYONE ELSE HAS SAID. (I'M SORRY, BUT THE CAPS LOCK BUTTON IS STUCK....)
Now, I know alot of people would flame me for this, but I think the Flying Thunder God Technique being "that jutsu" would fit very well if this happens. I really do beleive that Naruto would be fit to use his father's technique. Naruto's extreeme speed is useful; good at dodgeing attacks and moving in fast to counter/attack. The Flying Thunder God Technique is good for more than that. It's good for speed, evasion, agility, countering, strategics, instantanious travel, taijutsu, and one thing that would be EXTREEMELY useful to Naruto:
Rasengan. The Rasengan is a jabing technique untill he perfected it by adding wind chakra, as well as learning Sage mode to throw it, expand it, and shred enemies to peices (not just destroying the chakra network). That's why Minato's Flying Thunder God Technique and the Rasengan went hand in hand so well together--they solved each others holes (wait three sentances for the explenation). Kakashi and Sasuke's Chidori go so well because their Sharingan allows them to follow/track/avoid enemy movements to come in close. Naruto's speed makes him incredably fast, but he still has to run in close--meaning Sasuke can still track his movements (speed doesn't mean diddely squat against the Sharingan). On top of that, the speed via kyuubi cloak mode would be gone if he looses the Kyuubi. The Flying Thunder God Technique is instantanious, meaning Sasuke's Sharingan can't follow him untill he's already behind him--but it would be too late and he'd get smaked. Susano'o would get in the way, of coarse, but Naruto's clever; he'd think of something.
The Rasengan solves the Flying Thunder God Technique's problem of what do do when you get there. The Rasengan gives the Flying Thunder God Technique a powerful move to use once you reach the opponent. This is why Minato could hit Tobi: he had a hard time to follow Minato's movements and become intangible in time. He would get struck with the Rasengan before he could evade or counter (same thing when the Sasuke/Naruto fight once it comes around). On top of that, I wouldn't be suprised if Naruto wouldn't need a shadow cloan to make a regular Rasengan once the Kyuubi stops interfearing with his flow of chakra. Sage Mode prevens the Rasen-Shuriken from backfireing slightly in his arm, as well as throwing it. With this, Naruto wouldn't have to get in dangerously close with a regular Rasengan after activating Flying Thunder God.
It might not be the uber-strong kind of powerful upgrade that many people are hoping for--but it's still quite powerful. It's simple, and not one of those one-hit-kill techniques, but it is BY NO MEANS WEAK.
