He did that to show how far naruto has come since his first real mission. We can see him in BM now and using the rasengan. He is much stronger now.

Also he done that to relate back to chapter 16 page to when he put the title chapter "who are you?" which was the first time anyone ever saw obito

Lol it's funny when Tobi was first introduced we all thought he was Obito but then Kishi disproved all the retarded reasons why such as name, behaviour and hair as he said his name was uchiha madara, flash backs with longer hair and he turned into one of the most serious guys in the series. Then I thought nah there's no way he is obito.

But then I thought wait wait if I look past the retardred reasons maybe I could find some real ones and to my shock I found many legitimate reasons of why this mask man could be obito. But I don't like how kishi did this.

Go to the "Why there were so many plot holes" section and read the "Why you can call kishi a troll" subheading there to read and remember why I don't like this

I really don't know why Kishi took that method, it wasn't really that great. But I guess it could be one of his mistakes in this series/ or just a thing most people didn't like.

What can fix all this is the next coming chapters which should be back stories how obito survived, how he ended up like this and his connections to madara and all the other characters his got involved in.

One thing that may surprise people is I never desperately wanted Obito to be Tobi I wanted it to be kagami and I wanted him and madara to be involved with hashirama's death and tobirama's death.

But as you can see I done an insane amount of research into who Tobi is and I just saw the signs my self. I had to get real and accept it but on the other hand I don't mind it. I can see why kishi done it Obito the uchiha version of Naruto that came to realise that dreams don't come true and the many other harsh reality's of life. "The boy that use to have a dream" as kishi calls it.

I never thought it was Izuna for a number of reasons, I could see Kishi was building up on a variety of villains. Oro from hiruzen's time sasuke from naruto's madara's from hashi's and make them have different reasons for being villains.

Izuna and madara are basically the same type of villain infact izuna would even be weaker then madara, so I couldn't understand why kishi would have to of the same villains with the same reasons for their hatred.

Also a more logical reason was Izuna didn't look anything like the tobi we have seen so far, have a look at a troll thread I made a while ago.

What I am saying is true but tbh in a manga things like them not looking anything alike does not matter so much.

We know tobi is not madara,itachi,shisui and itachi's dad. But if tobi is a character we know that means we are looking at him right now.

Funny enough all the candidates of tobi make a T in this picture.

But also izuna and sasuke have the same hair colour which is black with tint blue.

Obito and kagami are the only characters which pure black hair.. just saying..

The orginal title was "..Until after you read this thread" but they thread got moved mistakenly also it was abit to long of a title. So I made it again with a shorter title.

The title was meant to mean listen to my points of why he is not a troll before you go round calling him a troll. Either way I gave my reasons defending him

Short hair version of tobi put konan under genjutsu. Also he didnt got a grudge against kakasi. Obito probably freaked out when rin died and kakashi couldnt keep his promise. And to make sure such promises will never be broken again tobi want to bring world peace with the infinite tsukuyomi
