dont you guys remember that jiraiya got his ass kicked by orochimaru? he didnt even master sage mode. i read something here that says jman shits on itachi. that thing is mad ridiculous. there's a whole lot of things that i can mention but choose not to. itachi is the best ninja there is since sarutobi and minato (from konoha at least). and no, i'm not a fanboy. if you guys think otherwise, give me your reasons.

okay, Honestly people, you cant tell me that Itachi + Kisame isnt enough to beat Jiraiya, Kisame had a shot at defeating Killer Bee, and we have all seen what itachi can do. Dont get me wrong i still think that Jiraiya is one of the strongest Ninja of all time as well as the strongest Sannin (He never used sage mode when fighting against Oro.)

Jiraiya would wreck kisame one on one, and his fight with Itachi would be extremely close, but seriously people, what we have witnessed itachi do at full strength is incredible.

j-man awesome and how did he get his ass kicked by orchimaru if your talking about the sanin one were tsuande and j-man were fighting orchimaru if you can remember that he was drugged by the best medical ninja known to any shinobi and maybe he didn't master sage mode so what his powers were great without it and its pretty hard to master when you think about because even naruto the main character couldn't master it(he still got some frog feature )and he trained 2 top shinobi (nagato and minato) who are definatly in my top 10 strongest shinobi SNM

orchimaru had an upper hand he knew tsuande weakness so when he used it he had to protect tsuande as well and in that fight jiraya never seemed as if he wanted to fight orchimaru he was just counter attacking orchimaru

Yea during the Sannin battle no one was at full strength, however to jiraiyas credit, he was able to use swamp of the underworld and make a big enough swamp to sink Manda with less than 30% of his strength, According to naruto wiki, the size of the swamp is absolutely controllable by the user, gonna be honest it would hard to fight someone who could instantly make a swamp the size of konoha if he so chose.
