I'm not sure tbh. Like you said, gaining distance is optimal. So a speed increase of some kind and just hindering them as best as you can to wait it out.

The Yang TSB just ensure that they won't suffer from physical damage regardless; since they essentially heal any damage, fatal or not, when sacrificed. As TSB they lost their damage component in the last update (aside from being hot to the touch, but that itself doesn't carry any inherent damage value). That's something I'd probably recommend changing. Since the Yin TSB can absorb most chakra up to Forbidden rank, Yang TSB should be able to deal some form of damage imo. But when the explosion aspect was removed, along with their 100 base damage, they lost a lot of what made them threatening. So for me they really wouldn't be a factor in my defense from this technique. I'd just really try to increase the gap between me and them and do what I can to survive.

I originally removed the damage aspect to make the two States feel more balanced since Yang granted such a high damage defense and potential to evade defenses that the 100 damage from the TSB felt like overkill coupled with it. Maybe it does need it, though.

In this state the user is endowed with a pitch-black chakra cloak with white magatama down the center, along the collar and sleeves. The cloak reaches down to the user’s ankles and covers a jet-black jumpsuit is underneath. The user’s nails, lips, hair, and sclera also become jet black. Along with the 4 Truth-Seeking Orbs the user will also gain a Shakujo consisting of the same energy and abilities of the orbs. The main attributes that users gain in this the technique Kuninotokotachi. Kuninotokotachi is a genjutsu technique that grants the user prowess on par with the Uchiha’s Mangekyou Sharingan. When casting genjutsu, the user’s techniques become strong enough to hypnotizes and almost completely control their opponent’s actions like Kotoamatsukami. The user also gains a nigh impenetrable spiritual defense through the shifting of balance, making him immune to any A rank and below Genjutsu none Doujutsu or Yin Genjutsu and a complete defense of up to S rank for other spiritual/mental based abilities ( not counting ones that deal physical damage ). The drawback to this state is that the disproportional amount of energy makes users incapable of using Yang Release techniques and other physically elevating techniques. Advanced forms of taijutsu movement (anything that requires chakra or is B-rank and above) also become unusable.
Besides the physical changes, you gain 4 Yin Truth Seeking Balls, and a Shakujo formed from the same substance. You gain an immediate defense to any A rank and below Genjutsu and S rank immunity to any other spiritual techniques (I think these passives need to both be raised 1 rank to make them useful/worth activation) and, perhaps the best aspect of it, access to Kotoamatsukami.

This technique is the strongest non-kekkei genkai genjutsu in existence. Kuninotokotachi gives the user’s genjutsu powerful hypnotic and influential abilities and puts them on par with the ocular powers of the Mangekyou Sharingan. The user hides manipulative thoughts and suggestions within their genjutsu such that, when cast on an opponent, they are indistinguishable from their own thoughts. The effects of this technique are strongest the closer one is to the user, allowing the user to influence the actions of others even subliminally. Long enough exposure to the user’s genjutsu while under the affects of Kuninotokotachi will eventually render victims completely unconscious, unable to respond at all. At such a point, the only ways to release the hold of Kuninotokotachi would be for the user to release it themselves, for the user to die or an outside source to transfer at least 150 chakra from Yin techniques or 75 chakra from Yang techniques to balance. Because of the strength of Kuninotokotachi, abilities designed to prevent genjutsu such as mental resistances, barriers, and other seals of the like are ineffective. With this technique the only way to avoid genjutsu would be to prevent them from happening or stay out of range. On the defensive side, Kuninotokotachi allows for the user to reverse genjutsu like Sharingan Genjutsu and even release the affects of techniques like Tsukuyomi.
Note: The hypnosis of this technique allows for the user to mask holes within a genjutsu that would ordinarily cause speculation. For example, if using false surroundings for a sudden drastic environment change, the user could implant a suggestion that would force the opponent not to question how suddenly the environment changed or to ignore certain aspects such as “the water isn’t wet.” However, these suggestions must be spelled out within the user’s move and must pertain to the affects of the genjutsu. A user cannot force opponents to forget how to defend against x-element or make them use y-technique if the genjutsu’s foundation does not establish such foundations.
Note: The effects of this technique are strongest the closer one is to the target. Within short-range users can capture others within their hypnotic spell and completely take over their body within 2 turns. At mid-range the hypnotic spell takes 3 turns, and long range is ineffective. Those with genjutsu specialty can resist for an additional turn while other Yin Release masters can resist for another 2 additional turns are unaffected at mid-range and beyond.
Note: The user can reverse genjutsu with this technique once per turn (one turn cool down for S-rank and above). Should the user fall under the spell of Mangekyou tier genjutsu the user can release the affects at the cost of a move but become incapable of using genjutsu for two turns after the fact.
Similar to the Yang State ability, this applies towards any Genjutsu utilized while the mode is active. Kotoamatsukami essentially enhanced every Genjutsu you use and can mask holes that must normally be made to make Genjutsu near perfect and impossible to break. You can compare it, in a sense, to the Sharingsn Hypnosis ability in that you can create such suggestive illusions that opponents can be swayed to believe these are real. Because these illusions are so real, it becomes harder to break them and the opponent falls comatose, lect in the "dream world" and unable to function until released. Because the potent Yin energy flowing through the user as Yin State is activated, it allows the illusions to bypass any form of counter, including seals, Bijuu, and more.

The notes themselves are lengthy so we can go over them if you have any questions so far

Surprisingly, I actually don't have any questions about these. The questions and answers we had yesterday regarding the TSB and the mode itself really covered it - especially the part about the chakra they can absorb.

I do agree that the defenses could be increased, to make it more comparable to Yang's physical defenses. And yeah, I definitely think that the Yang TSB could use a damage value now. As they are now in their current form they don't have too many practical purposes aside from being a shaping tool that can heal you. The explosion aspect definitely supported Yang's whole energetic, high heat, etc characteristics.

Alright, then I'll go ahead and post the Yin TSB in its entirety.

(Inton: Gudodama) Yin Release: Truth Seeking Ball
Type: Supplementary/Defensive
Rank: S
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 70 (-140 to opponent on contact)
Damage: N/A
Description: This is a version of the Truth Seeker Ball capable only to users within the Yin State. These orbs possess the five nature elements plus the user’s Yin Release chakra. The ratio of Yin chakra that exists within these orbs is greater than that of the parent technique and thus has more spiritual qualities to compensate for the lack of Yang and natural energy. These orbs are around the size of a fist and are dim, translucent, and gray/black. These orbs are malleable like the parent jutsu due to the collection of nature chakra within them, however they interact less with matter because of their spiritual qualities. As a result these orbs have the ability to absorb chakra and energy (minus natural energy). These orbs can absorb chakra from ninjutsu be it energy or physical matter based. As well, if anybody beside the user comes into contact with the orbs, their chakra will be absorbed into the orbs. Only techniques exceeding forbidden rank in strength (100 damage and higher) can overwhelm the orbs enough to destroy them. Like the parent technique the user can still generate various shapes and objects as well as interact with them physically and command them up to mid-range. The user can also expand these orbs to create a mid-range level explosion that absorbs the chakra in the area. With a single hand seal, the user can take the chakra from one of the orbs and uses the chakra to boost theirselves or others which will increase the rank of their techniques by one on jutsu up to S rank while adding +20 damage to Forbiddens. This application can be used twice (only once on themselves), sacrificing up to two spheres which do not regenerate. The application can only be used once every three turns, however. Again, like the parent technique the user can only manipulate the jutsu for 2 turns at a time before they go on standby. After using one of the orbs to boost their chakra, they cannot use the orbs for 3 turns.
Note: The orbs are created when the user enters Yin State and last until destroyed or when Yin State ends.
Note: The user can command the orbs up to mid-range, beyond that they cannot actively manipulate them other than to call them back. If the orbs go beyond 20 meters, they will remain stationary until the user gets close enough to call them back.
Note: The user gains 4 orbs which surround them in a fashion of their choosing upon creation.

The only further edit I'd make would be the chakra absorbing that we discussed yday morning/afternoon. As it stands, if the technique does not exceed 100 damage, then it can be absorbed. That's probably something to edit in for clarification. The overall chakra drain from using Yin State was heavily reduced too; instead of around 140 per turn, it only reduces I think 40 per turn + jutsu used by the user. The scale of both Yang and Yin TSB were reduced slightly (less distant and 4 instead of 6 TSB). Any questions in regards to this?

Yup, no questions on this one now either. These are definitely VERY helpful clarifications that are being edited into the technique.

I figure now is a good time as we move on in the training. I have two questions about the Yin-Yang specialty. Specifically the sensing and elemental specialties that it comes with. Sorry for the swift change of topic lmao.

So I'll start with the sensory question since that's the easier of the two, I think. Basically the Hands of Sloth technique specifies that Yin-Yang Release users are able to sense the Hands of Sloth. Yin Release specialists can also achieve this as they are able to sense spiritual entities around them, as part of the mastery. So my question is if Yin-Yang's sensing also carries over this part of the specialty, even without a Yin mastery? So since a Yin-Yang user can sense Hands of Sloth, which are spiritual in nature, can they also sense Limbo clones, Hungry Ghosts, or even Katsuryoku's spirits? I'll quote the lines from Hands of Sloth and the YY Sensing below as reference:

"he user creates several chakra arms (up to 8) behind them which are spiritual in nature. They do not appear to the naked senses, only Sage Mode users, Rinnegan and other Yin-Yang Release users can detect these hands."

"Finally, upon achieving full mastery over Yin/Yang Release, one becomes able to passively sense chakra and its nature, as well as identify different chakra signatures."

My second question is about the YY elemental specialty. How does this work today with having 1 Primary, 1 Secondary, and 1 Apex (or, 2 Primary, 1 Secondary)?

No; when you become a YY Master, you still should have a specialty amongst the two. You gain the perks of the former + YY, so Yin and YY Master or Yang and YY Master specialties. Instead of having to type both, it's all part of a single YY specialty. I think that Jutsu said that because it was like that at one point, having YY gave you the specialties of both, but it later changed to just one + YY.

It at one point made you have two Primary, 1 Secondary but we changed it so the 2 Primary wasnt mandatory, but possible if you wanted to have it. Normally, you can only pick any specialty once so the YY specialty allows you to have the two Primary with 1 seal if you wished.

Alright, got it. No questions on any of that then. Thanks

Goetia, Demon God King: Born from Solomon's use of the Creation of All Things, Goetia is the aggregate of the 72 Demon God familiars and their personalities. Goetia was created to safeguard humanity in the absence of Solomon during times of crisis. The Demon God King stands at 12 feet tall, more than doubling Solomon's own height. He possesses a relatively humanoid frame, with white and golden skin that is marred by lines of red trailing upwards from his legs. His most notable features, aside from his unique skin coloration and towering height, are antler-like protrusions from his head that flicker with golden ethereal flames at the ends. He also has a a large violet eye lodged within his chest, and an array of eyes hidden away within his arms under a layer of flesh; their purpose designating Goetia as a watcher and silent guardian. Goetia is gifted with the ability to use Mawscape Release, Force Release, and Mystic Fire Release, as well as Yin-Yang Release. He possesses an immunity to Fūinjutsu and shares a mental link to Solomon. Goetia’s Mystic Flames are violet in color.

Goetia is in many ways a reflection of Solomon, King of Mages. The two share a deep love for humanity, directed through the Human Order Correction Ritual. He carries with him a strong urge to protect them, no matter the cost. Goetia believes human suffering is unjust and should be rectified, a passionate belief that becomes stronger with each tragedy the Demon God King witnesses. Goetia's view of helping humanity is distorted from Solomon's; while the King of Magic believes that it isn't his place to use his arcane skills to elevate humanity above tragedy, death, and suffering, and interfere with the natural order, Goetia believes it is cruel and callous to do nothing. It is something that vexes the Demon God King and his relationship with Solomon, despite the latter's acceptance.

Xiangyou: Created by Yu Miaoyi with the Creation of All Things, the Xiangyou is a Xiangliu - a nine-headed serpent monster from Chinese mythology and appears much like a Gorgon. Xiangyou lives to faithfully serve Consort Yu without question. She is roughly 8 feet tall, towering above Yu and many other humans. She possesses a serpent's body, with a human face and nine other snake head appendages emerging from around her neck and upper body. Each head has two eyes that functionally operate to provide her a wide range of vision. She is covered in scales from her torso and below, each shining like a bright green gem in the sunlight. Her eyes, like Yu's, are a shimmering bloody crimson. The Xiangyou is gifted the ability to use Steel Release, Mystic Fire Release, and Lightning Release, as well as Yin-Yang Release. She possesses an immunity to Fūinjutsu and shares a mental link to Yu. Her Mystic Flames are green in color, contrasting with Yu's crimson.
