I'm not sure tbh. Like you said, gaining distance is optimal. So a speed increase of some kind and just hindering them as best as you can to wait it out.
The Yang TSB just ensure that they won't suffer from physical damage regardless; since they essentially heal any damage, fatal or not, when sacrificed. As TSB they lost their damage component in the last update (aside from being hot to the touch, but that itself doesn't carry any inherent damage value). That's something I'd probably recommend changing. Since the Yin TSB can absorb most chakra up to Forbidden rank, Yang TSB should be able to deal some form of damage imo. But when the explosion aspect was removed, along with their 100 base damage, they lost a lot of what made them threatening. So for me they really wouldn't be a factor in my defense from this technique. I'd just really try to increase the gap between me and them and do what I can to survive.
