I wasn't talking about that tech. Genjutsu or at least non mangekyou genjutsu works by manipulating chakra flow in the body. He could do this in himself.

Conclusion: Itachi lost Yata Mirror/Someone stole Yata Mirror from Poor Itachi or Kishi wanted to show that Yata Mirror was useless at this point of manga. Itachi has enough stamina as he was Edo, also he unleashed Totsuka blade to seal Nagato, while no Yata ? Answer it yourself.

I can surprise you, but I have nothing against Itachi. Hell I consider him as the one of best and the most awesome character in Narutoverse. He has power and skills to back it up, he is pinacle of true shinobi. To be honest I would like him with Senjutsu/ Rinnegan or other unwordly/hax/unique powers like Obito got Kamui, but no Kishi has to went easy and give him NO LIMIT FALACY spirit weapons, which have no backstory, drawbacks/limits. We have nothing how they work, could they be wielded by human etc. Also they were just brought for mere second, hyped so much just to be forgotten and fade away as fast as they appeared.

Sorry but in my eyes, These weapons took The best from itachi, even although he is still is great.

No point in using Yata against Chibaku tensei.

What canonical evidence have you brought forward that contradicts Yata's abilities sides a redundant argument and rhethoric responses. Here's a suggestion: Create a fleshy, well structured and supported argument from the Manga discrediting Yata's abilities as opposed to the comical method you've chosen here.
