not trying to ride the wagon but I feel this is correct. Its not featless it repelled Sasuke's kunai's no matter the minuteness of Sasuke's attack it still displayed something. Are the databooks basically writings etched in stone straight from the horses mouth? Not trying to argue, but I too will take Kishi's word over yours sorry .

The whole legend of it being able to deflect any jutsu has to come from somewhere. The thing people need to understand is that it does not block jutsu.

The thing that people are forgetting is that everyone worships the Yata Mirror because the databook calls it the "Ultimate Defense" But
Take the Kamui for example. The databook said that no technique is possible against it. Does that mean it retcons the Yata Mirror's absolute defense?
